Chapter 30

Sitting in the little café all sadness and worries fled from me, leaving me in a peaceful and happy place. Joshua sat right next to me in the booth I knew he was still worried about me but he needn't of because I honestly felt great. Whether it was the high before a fall I didn't know but right now I had never felt so happy. Elle Lisa and I were laughing like old times. Joshua Paul and Jack just stared at us like we were some crazy girls which only made us laugh more. Joshua every now and then would kiss me on the cheek, forehead or hand. It was as if he was scared I was going to break at any minute and as much as I tried to tell him I was fine, he didn't believe it. However, having him touching and kissing me the way he was only made me melt into his mere touches. He was one in a million. Seriously staring at him right now I couldn't believe how I had landed myself such a warm and loving perfect man because as much as I thought there was no such thing as the perfect man Joshua was proof that there was still special men out there that are capable of love. However, I also knew that there were men out there that could love you one minute then want to kill you the next and Jaxon was proof of that. Elle stood up snapping me away from my inner thoughts.

"Hey where are you going?" I asked not wanting to leave yet. "Well lover girl some of us have to work to earn a living" not been able to help myself I snorted. "Yeah right as if you need to work" I mumbled but everyone had heard me. "Isabella!" Elle shouted while giving me a killer look. I laughed

"I'm sorry it's just that I was always the one running of to work and it's still all new to me you actually working." I said teasingly.

"I'll have you know my new job is demanding and bloody tiring but I love it." Although she was smiling it didn't reach her eyes. "Oh Elle just spit it out and tell her already." Lisa snapped. Now that got me curious. Leaving out a heavy sigh Elle looked out the window. "Daddy cut my allowance and said I had to work or he will cut me off completely." As bad as I felt for Elle her daddy was right because she couldn't expect to live of daddy for the rest of her life. Then again this was Elle, so yes she probably did think she could. Ha ha

"Elle you will appreciate your dad doing this in years to come, when you've made it big in the world." I said trying to soften her up a bit. Giving her a big smile she turned mumbling something and then left. As soon as Elle left the rest of us started to head out on our own ways.

Once in the car Joshua wanted to go and buy some baby things but with my money running low I didn't want to but as usual Joshua won, so here we were on our way to Baby's R Us. Walking into the store my eyes near enough popped out at the amount of stuff they had. There was so much choice that I knew this wasn't going to be a quick look around and if Joshua's excitement had any to go by then I would say we were more than likely going to be spending the entire day here.

"Isabella look" following where Joshua was pointing I couldn't help but laugh. Taking a hold of my hands in his he began dragging me over to the strollers. Seriously if you could only see his face; it was as if we were in a car show room ready to purchase a sports car. Joshua walked up and down taking everyone one off the shelf as we went by. Ha ha couldn't help but laugh at the way he tried pushing every stroller in every direction but now we were on..... Well truthfully I had lost count.

"Joshua." I whined. I was feeling exhausted and hearing how he needed the stroller to have height adjustment so he could push without bending and the way he needed it to be four wheels that rotated was starting to irate me. I was becoming tired and cranky and as much as I loved what he was doing I couldn't stand to see another stroller let alone the rest of the store. Joshua placed the stroller back onto the shelf then looked over at me. HE must have seen how tired I was because without a word he scoops me up into his arms. "I'm so sorry my love I guess I just got a bit over excited and carried away. Come on let's get you home we will come back when you're feeling more up to it." Like hell I thought to myself. I mentally noted that I would leave Joshua go and buy the stroller himself and I'll just get everything else.

My phone rang in the car seeing it was my parents my heart flew up to my mouth. Knowing I couldn't keep putting it off I answered placing my finger to my lips silencing Joshua.

"Hello" I greeted my screaming mother.

"Where have you been? Your father and I haven't heard from you in three months and every time we call you, you never answer. Isabella, do you know we have been going crazy wondering where you were. We didn't know whether you were dead or alive!" she screamed through her sobs. Tears streamed down my face. Feeling like the worst daughter ever, for causing them to worry so much about me.

"I'm sorry mother but I have been so busy." I lied feeling even guiltier than I was already feeling. I felt so bad but it also maddened me that I felt guilty when they never usually cared. "Well now that I've managed to get a hold of you I needed to tell you we are moving. We have already sold the B&B and are moving out of the country I just wanted to see you before we left." My heart sunk as her words hit me. She wasn't concerned of what or where I had been or even if I was alright. All she was concerned about was saying good bye. I knew I never meant that much to them but I thought I meant more than a call to say goodbye. "When are you leaving?" I questioned sounding as hollow as I felt. "We are leaving at the end of the month." Thinking what date it was today I near on choked. "But that's next week." I stated sounding as mad as I felt. "Well we have been trying to contact you as I've already told you." She said as if it was my entire fault but then again, it was. "Ok I will call you later tonight to let you know when I can come and see you." I said not in any mood to keep up a conversation with my mother right now. I was too tired and cranky and mad now thanks to her.

"Ok talk to you soon bye." "Bye" I replied before hanging up. I could feel Joshua's eyes on me but I just couldn't talk about this right now. "Later" I said as I took hold of his hand placing a kiss on it.

Closing my eyes I mumbled "I love you". "I love you too sweetheart. We're nearly home." Smiling I opened my heavy eyes to see Joshua staring at me. Thank fully we were stopped at a stop sign. Leaning down he placed a soft loving kiss on my lips melting me on the spot. That one simple kiss left me feeling so loved and relaxed. It was then I realised that the love Joshua and I shared was more than I have ever experienced. It was as if we were meant to be. We didn't need words as our bodies said it all. Pulling his head down, I kissed him more hungrily. It wasn't until the car behind us started honking his horn that we broke the kiss. Panting heavily I laughed as the car behind us sped past us sticking his middle finger up at us in the progress. Joshua shouted out his window. "You're just jealous you haven't got a beautiful woman at your side." Laughing even harder at his childish behaviour he started driving.
