On the Wednesday, Matty took Alice out around Manchester. He showed her where they were going to be playing the weekend after the following and then they went for coffee. Then on the Thursday he called her at around 4pm and they spoke until 2am. They spoke about everything, Matty never wanted to stop talking to her. At the end of the call, he asked if he could see her on the Friday, she said yes.

"Lads, I'm going to meet Alice." He popped his head round the door of the studio where the boys were sat. George was in the producers chair while Hann and Ross were on the floor with paper spread out everywhere.

"You can't, Kat's coming over." George reminded him, he shook his head. He had thought this out.

"She's coming over later, I'm picking her up from work on my way back from meeting Alice." He explained, they all accepted it.

"Does she know about her?" Ross asked, he shook his head then pointed at them in turn.

"And none of you will tell her, I will tell her when I think it's right." He demanded, George spun in his chair slightly and shook his head.

"You mean if you fall for Alice and have to stop sleeping with her" he saw right through him, Matty scoffed and walked out.

"What the fuck is he doing?" Adam shook his head dismissively. George spun around in his chair with his pencil to his mouth.

"He's falling for Alice but doesn't want to stop sleeping with Kat unless he really has to." He concluded.

"And by when he really has to you mean-" Adam started.

"When Alice starts putting out." Ross finished, George pointed at him as if he'd got it bang on.

"In a way, it's clever." Adam shrugged, George laughed loudly.

"It's fucking mental." Ross disagreed.

"It's Matty in a nutshell." George muttered, neither of the others said anything.

"I've never met Alice but I like Kat, she would be good for him." Adam suggested, George shook his head.

"He's not the problem in that retrospect. Kat doesn't want a relationship." He reminded them, they both nodded.

"Maybe she'll realise what she wants when she meets Alice." Ross mumbled, George smirked.

"If she ever meets Alice."

Matty jogged down the road from his car to Alice, who was stood, outside the cafe where they had chosen to meet. He wrapped his arms around her before they had even said anything. She giggled in his ear and wrapped her arms around him.

"Hey" She said, "how are you?"

"I'm better now" when he was around her he turned into a cliche noodle.

"Shut up" She laughed, pushing him away. He grabbed her hand and spun her around before throwing his arm around her shoulder. "Where are we going?"

"Not far. I've gotta leave at half five." He admitted, she pouted.

"I thought we were spending the day together." She complained but he shrugged. He liked her but not enough to ditch Kat just yet.

"Sorry hun, I have commitments." He turned down a street and led her into a park.

"At least you're not afraid of them." She muttered, not thinking he could hear her as he walked ahead of her.

First, he went to the kids section. She watched him as there were no children on the contraptions. He jumped onto the swings and started to swing standing up. She giggled as she ran over to him.

"Watch out!" He yelled as he swung towards her, she started to laugh uncontrollably. She jumped onto the one next to his and swung with him. He jumped off and ran to the roundabout.

"Matty!" She squealed, trying to keep up as much as possible. He just laughed as she jumped on with him but she was unstable and wobbled everywhere.

"Ah! I'm gonna fall." She had one hand on the bar as he sat in the small chair, clearly made for children.

The world spun around them as he reached out for her hand, she allowed him to pull her down onto his lap so he could keep her safe. Matty just laughed as she sat on his lap, gripping onto him for dear life.

The spinning eventually stopped, leaving them as just a girl sat on a boy sat on a roundabout. She went to stand up but he pulled her back down. Pushing away her beautiful blonde hair, he took the chance to pull her down to him.

Alice leant down and pressed her lips to his, which were already pouted. His hands got lost in her hair as he attempted to pull her closer to him. His tongue trailed along her lip as he nibbled and sucked at it. It was an above average kiss, Matty enjoyed it.

Matty watched her grin and run away, he couldn't help but laugh to himself and chase after her. He caught her just as she turned around to see where he was, he pushed her up against a tree and kissed her again. She had opened the gates, Matty couldn't get enough.

"Do you think the band is going to get big?" She asked, they were now laying on the grass. Matty's hair was sprawled out all over the place.

"Yeah. I think if we keep trying then we should get somewhere." He answered, turning his face towards her. She looked so beautiful with her eyes closed.

They walked throughout the park, the cold was starting to hit and they could both feel it. Matty looked at his watch and his eyes widened.

"Shit. I gotta go pick up my friend from work." He burst as they reached the cafe again. Alice understood completely.

"Okay. I can walk from here" she shrugged, he felt guilty and strong need to be a gentleman but...Kat.

"Are you sure? I would walk you but I'm already late." He looked at his watch again, she pushed him away.

"Go!" She laughed, just high on him. Matty pulled her towards him and kissed her goodbye.

"I'll see you soon." He said, she kissed him one more time before pushing him towards his car. He winked as he got in and practically sped to Kat's work.

Kat was stood outside her shop, arms folded when Matty pulled up. He looked in his mirror and wiped off any traces of Alice before getting out his car. He fell to his knees on the pavement as she walked up to him.

"Forgive me Kit. I'm sorry I'm late." He held out his arms for her. She just rolled her away and walked around him.

"Get up you muppet." She yelled as she got into the passenger seat. He leant over the middle and kissed her cheek.

"I missed you." He cooed, she patted his thigh but stayed silent. She was mad and he could tell. "Please don't hate me kitty kat." He begged, she leant over and kissed his cheek.

"I don't" She mumbled. "Now go." He did as he was told and drove them home.

"Lads, Kat's here." Matty took off his shoes so Kat followed, using him as something to lean on.

"Hey Hey Hey." Kat danced into the room where all the boys were. She had changed her tune. Matty followed her in, leaning against the doorframe. He watched as she collapsed over George and stole the games controller from him.

"I'm ordering a pizza, does everyone want beer?" He said from the doorway. They all mumbled yes' and he made his way into the kitchen.

"Hey George?" Kat asked quietly, her legs were over his lap as she threw the controller to Ross. He snapped his head to her and hummed to let her know he was paying attention. "Where was Matty before he picked me up?" She asked, George stared at her. He didn't want to lie but he knew he had to.

"I dunno, he's been out all day." He shrugged, she nodded. "Why?" He wondered.

"He was late picking me up. Asshole." She muttered, George laughed and rubbed her leg.

"He probably just lost track of time." He excused, not wanting to lie to such a good person.

"Pizza's on the way. Beer is here." Matty announced, passing everyone a can. He looked at the sofa that Kat was on with George, there was no room for him. He sat on the opposite sofa and watched Ross and Adam play their game.

They drank beer and just talked until the pizza came. Kat leapt up and raced Matty to the door to get to the pizza. She pushed him away so he slammed her against the wall, making her cry out with laughter while he opened the door for the pizza.

"Dickhead." She kicked him as he carried all the pizza's into the kitchen. By habit, he leant over and kissed her.

He tasted different.
