DJ's POV

" Dad calm down! What if it was an accident!" The day before the festival my dad went to look around and saw the community house was blown up. He got very upset I could understand why it was one of the oldest things here and was like a safe place for him .

" Why did I even agree to go. Next time I'm not listening to ghostber when there is a festival. " That's right ghostber gave us the invite

" Don't blame it on him. He just gave us the invitation." I saw my dad getting a bunch of obsidian blocks and put  them in a chest.

" Well someone blue up something very important to me so now I will build the wall. Plus i technically can because I saw Tommy in L'manberg." Oh ya Tommy.

" Well can I go with you to help please I promise I will stay invisible" He stoped and began to think you could tell by the look on his face.

" Fine but your going to have some things on you just to make sure you're safe if things go downhill got it ." I nodded my head in agreement then helped him finish preparing. After that we both went to bed.

Time skip

" ok I'm going to start to build the wall if people come over just stay close to me got it ." I new he couldn't see me but i still nodded my head in agreement. We walked down the steps and Dad started to build up the walls. Not soon after some of the people of L'manberg showed up. This included Ranboo. My dad started to talk to them and then later showed them what happened. I was just watching it all. My dad wanted something from the president and almost got it until Tommy showed up. He was just like how my dad described him. Letter on the pig man named Technoblade should up as well. Then there was a fight. I got hit a couple of times but I will look at my injury's later.

" THE DISKS WHERE WORTH MORE THEN YOU EVER WERE !" Everyone stopped moving after Tommy said that. Even my dad was a bit surprised. There was more fighting after a bit and what not but the thing that stood out to me was my dad and technoblade agreeing to work together after Tommy ditched technoblade. Then he just disappeared leaving me behind. I decided I should find a place to hide with only one minute of my invisibility left. I later found a cave to stay in.

Hours later

" DJ are you in here ?" There he is with that familiar mask.

" Dad you left me ." He walked up to me and gave me a hug. I jumped at the sudden pain I felt in my arm. My dad instantly rolled up my sleeve. The spot an my arm had gotten a cut from the random fight that broke out and it grew more. My dad took off his mask and grabbed some bandages from a bag.

" I'm so sorry." He hugged me. " Dad your fine..... what do we do about the battle." He was silent for a moment

" your not going. It's to dangerous." I stood up. " Dad pleas I have to make sure your ok I can stay hidden....I can stay with George!" He began to walk away

"Dad please!" We stood in the silence for a bit. It was unbearable. " You are to stay at George's and only there. Got it" I nodded my head. Instead of going back to are house I was dropped off at George's place and was told to stay put.

The next day

In the morning I'll I could hear was yelling and ..... dogs? Why are there dogs. Going against what my father told me I put some armor on and went to the battle. I tried to stay away from some of the people but there was one person that the world couldn't let me stay away from.

" DJ..... why are you here" Ranboo out of everyone it had to be Ranboo. Time to turn and run .

" DJ hold on let's talk ." He ran in front of me.   " What is there to talk about Ranboo!" Then there was a noise that would scare anyone. A wither.

" Watch out" before I new it both me and Ranboo where flying through the air and then thrown to the ground. I was picked up and brought somewhere safe ? All I new was that my arm was killing me.

" DJ are you ok ." Ranboo was sitting next to me. " I'm fine now leave me alone" I went to stand but was instantly pulled down.

" No I'm not letting you go out there. It's dangerous!" I yanked my arm away " I said leave me alone" I quickly ran away. I ended up at the center of the battle when the tnt started raining from the sky.

" why me ! I should have listened!" I continued to run around and eventually decided to dig down and make a small bunker. All I could here was the sound of tnt going off and some yelling in the distance. It was completely black. I made a mistake why didn't I listen to my dad. He knows what's best. Calm down DJ breath your ok your safe. Dad will find you.

It became very silent in my box. I don't know if it was because I covered my ears or if the battle was over but it was silent. I began to dig up a little thinking it was all over. My dad will be ok probably will get yelled at but he is ok. Then we can go home eat some leftover cake and play games and everything will be over. I had just a little more to go then ta da happy times, but then the sound of tnt hit me and then a big explosion. Everything turned a bright white as my ears rang. I hit something really hard and the pain was unbearable. So I did what any kid would do.

" DAD I NEED YOU!!"
