Lana💗

No sun. No sleep. No Ashton.

Last night, I barely slept. Not because of the bed, or the hotel or noises, but because it was missing something. Or someone. I stupidly found myself reaching for him in the middle of the night. Strangely, I never even did this when Ashton worked overnight at the hospital.

I took a shower and slipped on the clothes I brought in the hotel store this morning. After, I checked out and ordered an Uber back to Tye's house. I didn't want to go back but I drove and my things are there.

Now here I stand, on the porch where I stood only two days ago, making out with my boyfriend before going to meet his family.

Go in. Get your stuff. Leave.

I reach for the door only to have it opened by Tye. He steps back and lets me in where I am instantly surrounded by his family. Like usual they bombard me with questions, this time asking if I'm okay.

I don't really have an answer. But when Ashton begins to come down the stairs, I'm positive the answer is not yes.

"Lana." He breathes out my name as he approaches me and cups my face between his fingers. The urge to cry again hits me as I look into his blue eyes that I can't seem to trust right now. He looks tired, his mussed hair falling over his forehead.

"It was cold last night," he teases playfully.

Well in that case he should've used Taylor to keep him warm. I step away from him, then I move around him so I can go upstairs to grab my things. Ashton follows me and I expected nothing less. When we get to the room I finally speak.

"I'm leaving, Ashton," I inform him as I collect my things. "I trust that you will be able to find a way home. Maybe borrow one of Tye's cars or something. I'll get my stuff from your house when I get back and hopefully I will be gone before you get there."

"Lana it wasn't what it looked like."

I hear a scoff come from the doorway. "Yeah, Lana, it wasn't what it looked like.

I don't even turn around to look at her, but Ashton does and I can feel the tension emanating off of his body. With all my things in my hand, I grab my keys and brush past her.

I wonder what would've happened if I didn't come up.

"Nothing would've happened, Lana!" Ashton answers my thoughts.

"Don't lie to her Ashton," Taylor responds walking up behind Ashton.

I take a deep breath and force a smile on my face as I look back at the two. "I hope you are happy, Ashton."

I love him too much to wish bad on him.

If I could go back in time, I wouldn't change meeting him, because being with him is like air after drowning. But I would go back to the moment I fell in love with him. The moment I let down my guard and let him in. The moment I gave him my trust.

The tears I so desperately tried to hold back slip through my eyes and blur my vision. Turning away from Ashton, I head for the door.

"It was nice meeting you all. Thank you for being so kind to me."

The second I get to the door Tye grabs my arm and pulls me into a tight hug. I let my tears fall. "You were right. Watching it is not as good as doing it."

He sighs and pulls back shaking his head. "Lana, hear Ashton out."

What could Ashton possibly tell me? I saw it with my own eyes.

Aniya comes up to me and wraps her arms around my waist, hugging my legs. They are making it really hard to leave. With everything in me, I gently pull her off and walk out the door.

I look up at the cloudy skies as rain pours from them. Then I quickly rush to my car and throw my bag into the passenger seat. I barely get the drivers door open when Ashton rushes up to me and grabs my waist, pulling me into him and claiming my lips.

I can't help but give into him, placing my hands on his chest and kissing him back. His tongue slips past the barrier of my lips, intwining with mine. Denying the fact that I want him is ridiculous at this point. My body literally craves him and his touch. I hate it. I hate that the way his hands are dragging over my hips and to my ass starts to warm up my core.

"Ashton," I sigh, placing my head against his chest not caring about how soaked my body is getting from the rain.

Gently I drag my hands down his waist and push him off. I need to go.

Without looking at him, I pick open the drivers door and climb in. I leave Ashton and I don't look back because I am really afraid of what I will find.
