*Kennedy's POV*

I sit there in shock as Ryan went back into her room slamming her door

I stand up wiping away my tears and make my way towards her room, I press my ear against her door

I hear her sobs and it breaks my heart hearing her like this

"Please god bring Jay back you took my dad already don't take take my new dad away from me" I hear her say I start sobbing, I lean my  back against the wall and stand there and cry as I slowly slide my back down the wall

"why did i overreact?" I ask myself as I hear Ryan cry in her room asking God why this had to happen

I stand up and walk into the livingroom grabbing my phone and unlocking it

I go into my contacts and waiver my thumb over Jays name as I sit there frozen

I press on his name and open our messages

I sit there for 5 minutes now knowing what to say

*Jay's POV*

I sit alone in my apartment, this was one of few times I spent here, I always stayed at Kennedy's

I look at my files and grab Kennedys file and open it to only see a few misdeminors(I dont know if i spelt this right) for attempted burglary and illegal drugs

I sigh and grab my phone I saw I had no new calls or texts

I regret leaving I should've just went on the balcony or to the room at least I wouldn't have left mad like I did

"I didn't mean what I said" I say to myself closing the file and throwing it on the coffee table throwing my head back

I grab my phone again and still nothing

it wasn't that i didn't trust Kennedy it's just well I don't entirely know yet

I sigh getting up and grabbing my keys and leaving my apartment

*Ryans POV*

I sit on my bed my eyes feel tender, I look at the time to see it was 11:04, I slide off my bed and walk out of my room and see my mom sleeping by my door her eyes were red and puffy also, her phone screen was still lit up which means she fell asleep not long ago

her hand falls causing her phone to fall to the floor, I pick it up amd see she was texting Jay, well she typed something out but she didn't send it

Please come back for Ryan at least she has been crying since you left

I look at my mom and tap her shoulder lightly and she slowly starts to waken,I cuddle into her side and we just sit the

I hit send and look up to her and see she had falling asleep this time holding on to me

I begin typing and hit send after a minute of typing
