I walk into the building seeing Nick our door keeper

"Hi Nick" I smile as I wave quickly, he smiles and waves back before I walk into the elevator and press the top floors button and peek into one of the files

I see it was my file I had

July 31st, 1993

Caught with tagging on 4th street - December 24th 2008
Caught with Drugs - September 19th 2009
Attemped Burglary May 22nd 2011
Illegal Drugs January 19th 2012

I close the file I hold back tears why was Jay looking up my past, why now

I get off the elevator and slowly walk towards my apartment putting my file at the bottom of the pile and readjusting the bag of ice cream on my arm

It's probably all melted by now, I look down at my watch and see it was 9:08 so Ryan was already in bed.

I open the door which was unlocked so I'm guessing Jay expected me home soon cause he wouldn't ever leave the door unlocked

I walk in and see the livingroom and Kitchen empty, I put the ice cream in the freezer and continue to carry the files, I open the door to Ryans room to see Jay laying beside Ryan as she sleeps, he had a book on his lap

I walk over and tap Jay's shoulder, he wakes up and smiles I give him a small smile and look down at the cases remembering he had my old file.

i've done worst but Hank kept his promise and most of my file was wiped but he couldn't clear it all cause his boss would've gotten suspicious

I walk out and walk into the livingroom setting the files on the table

I didn't want to bring them up but it bugged me

I sit down and look at the hallway to see Jay closing Ryans door slowly and turning to walk towards me, Isit back running my hair letting a loud sigh out

"Eveything ok?" Jay asks and I shrug my shoulders not knowing what to say to him like should I tell him I looked into the files and saw he had mine?

I try smile but it quickly fades as I see at the bottom of my eyes the files

"Why do you have my file?" I  blurt out than covering my mouth

"Did you look at my private files?" he asks rather loudly and I feel like shrinking down

"you're ignoring my question, Why do you have my file?" I ask again

"It's none of your business!" he says quietly pointing at me

"It is because I thought you trusted me, than I see you have my OLD file" I say on the verge of tears "I am NOT that person anymore" I say letting a few tears slip

"Oh really then what happend a few months ago, Oh right you over dosed on pills" he says pointing at me

*Ryans POV*

I hear my mom and Jay and it sounds like they are arguing

I grab my pillow hugging it to my chest, I put my pillow down and slip off my bed tip toeing towards my door

"Its is because I thought you trusted me, than  I see you with my OLD file, I hear my mom say her voice was shakey "I am NOT that person anymore" I peek out to see she was starting to cry

"Oh really then what happend a few months ago?" Jay says pointing at my mom " Oh right you over dosed on pills" he says and that made my mom look at him

"OK i had a slip up I am not perfect" she says

"a slip up that's what you're calling it?" Jay says they weren't yelling but they were speaking loud enough to wake me up but I think they didn't realized actuallu how loud they actually were

I just hope he doesnt leave me like my dad did

"JUST LEAVE!" she yells loud,I step back and start crying

I run out

"NO" I yell hugging Jay

"Ryan" my mom says collapsing down to her knees

"I don't want Jay to leave" I say not letting Jay go as he was trying to push me away

"Please don't leave" I say as he finally breaks my grip

"I'm sorry Ry I just need some space right now" he says picking up files that were on the table and putting his shoes on and leaving

"Why?" I ask "I finally got a dad again and you made him leave" I cry as I run to my room slamming my door shut
