I turn to make sure Ryan is buckled up and I see Gabi running out

"I don't have time for this" I say backing up ignoring Gabi yelling at me

I pull onto the road taking a deep shaky breath

"Kennedy are you ok?" I look into the rear view mirror to see Ryan looking at me with with big dewy eyes

"I'm fine baby" I smiled facing forward

"Ok" Ryan smiles pulling the bunny closer to her body

We drive for 10 more minutes and I pull into the precinct

"Ok baby girl we are gonna go see my brother Antonio, hopefully he is so happy to see you

*Jays POV*

I pull into the precinct and walk upstairs

"Hey Jay" I look up to see Antonio and Adam talking

"Morning" I say tucking my phone into my pants pocket, I sit at my desk playing with a pen that was on my desk

"How is Kennedy today she go to work?" I look up to see Antonio sitting at the edge of my desk

"Uh no I just texted her" I say leaning up looking towards Antonio

"She ok?"

"Yah she is fine just something came up and she should be the one to tell you Antonio" I say

"But she's good nothing horrible?"

"No! No!" I say sitting up

"But this is something that Kennedy needs to tell you, she said she'll be by later" I say as Voight walks out of his office

"Listen we just got asked to go examine a crime scene, Severide said there were bullets at the scene" he says

"So Olinsky And Ruzak I want you two alongside Dawson and Halstead, keep me informed ok" Hank says and we all nod our heads and we head out

*Kennedys POV*

I walk up the steps with Ryan following close behind holding onto my hand

"Kennedy hey how are?" Trudy asks as I walk through the doors

"I'm good and what about you?" I ask

"I'm good you here to see your brother?" She asks and I nod my head

"Uh they were called out but I can buzz you up and you can wait I'll just inform them you are waiting when they get back" she says and I nod my head

"Ok go" she says and I grab Ryan's hand and I run towards the steps, I hear the buzzer go off and I open the door and let Ryan walk ahead of me

I walk into the office and see Atwater and Kim at there desks and Hank in his office

"Hey" I smile as Kim looks up

"Oh hey baby Dawson" Kevin looks up and smiles

"Hey do you Uh know when Jay and Antonio are getting back?" I ask as Hank walks out, he looks at Ryan and looks back at me and closes his office door again going back towards his desk

"Uh no but you can sit at one of theirs desk, and who's this?" Kevin says pointing at Ryan

"This is Ryan but I would like to introduce her to my brother first" I say and he covers his mouth in shock and nods his head

I smile and go into the break room

"Here take a seat sweetie" I say pulling the chair out and grabbing a cup and filling it with water and place it in front of the small girl

"What's Antonio like?"

"He is funny, strong, and handsome, he is my best friends he has always been there even when I made mistakes, I can admit we haven't always seen eye to eye but at the end of the day he has been my rock" I smile

"Oh uh sorry I'll leave" I look over to see Hank walking away
