I look through my contacts Salazar

I hit the call button shaking

It rings a few times before he finally picks up the phone

"Yo wuddup its Salazar," he says, Salazar was an old friend who deals

"Salazar its Dawson, I need something I have cash I promise," I say shaking barely holding my phone

"Dawson nice to hear from you again I thought you were dead " he laughs "I got you babe meet me at the usual pick up," I say ok and tell Maggie I'm leaving for personal reasons and she nods her head and I clock out

I change and head to the park to meet Salazar, I tap my fingers on the wheel antsy

I hear a tap on the window to see Salazar (Esai Morales as Salazer Vega)

I get out and hug him

"Hey old friend," I say so no one is suspicious he slips a packet into my pocket

"Heres the money I owed you from a few weeks ago," I say handing him the money "right, right thanks the misses will be happy I promised her a date tonight," he says smiling

"Uh well I got to go, do you need a ride?" I ask

"I'm good I'll see you soon" he smirks and I nod getting into my car

I pull out seeing him walking down the street, I continue the short drive

Why Kennedy?

"I need something to take the edge off" I battle my thoughts feeling the small baggie in my pocket feeling the 10 small pills

I pull into my apartment parking lot and grab my stuff and make my way inside, I open the door and lock it

I pull the bag out revealing the 10 small pink pills, I dump them out letting them fall onto my marble countertop

"Why?" I keep battling myself contemplating this decision right now fuck it

I grab a pill and throw it back stepping back until my back hit the fridge, I slip down till I am sitting on the floor

I let a few tears roll down my cheek, I hear my phone go off I crawl over to my purse

I hit the red reject button throwing the phone back into my purse and stand up almost falling, I make my way back to the counter looking at the pills

I put 8 of them back into the bag taking another one, I put them in a safe place,  before walking over to the couch

I hear my phone go off multiple times before passing out

I keep trying to reach Kennedy but she is not answering the first time she rejected my call now she is not picking up I'm starting to worry, I first called the hospital and Maggie said she had to leave for something personal but she said she was worried since she was shaking badly which got me worried

I walk into Hanks office

"Hey I'm going to check on Kennedy she left the hospital early and Maggie said she was shaking badly and she isn't answering my calls," I say and he nods telling me to go, I run down the steps of the precinct

After I make it to Kennedy's apartment door, I continue to knock for 5 minutes before running down to the manager's office

After he opens the door I see Kennedy on the couch, I thank her manager and run in

I check her pulse, it was beating rapidly
