[Jayden's P.O.V]

I was awakened by a loud thud that seems to be coming from downstairs. Rubbing my eyes and groaning from annoyance, I check my phone for the time.

Welp, late again, nothing new.

I didn't even stay up that late. I was in too deep with Daniel's presence.

Ahhh Daniel. What a dream, that guy. If you tell me three weeks ago that him and I would have been a thing, I might've straight up punched you. But now? Damn, I want all of him, all day everyday. I want to nuzzle my nose on his neck and feel his embrace as I do it, I'm definitely crushing over him.

Look at me, being mushy in the morning.

That's what usually happens when you wake up with the love of your life.

But now that I'm finally getting a sense of my surroundings, I realized that he's not here!

Where did that smartass go?! He didn't wake me up and then left me alone by myself?!

A pang of disappointment filled my chest, I was hoping that I would wake up next to him, with him in my arms. Yes, cheesy, I know.

But I was still looking forward to it, regardless. I don't care what you think, creep.

Grunting, I head towards the washroom to refresh my memory as I recall if Daniel actually woke me up. But he never did and just disappeared like the ninja that he is.

A loud thud emerges again and this time I decided to meddle with the commotion downstairs.

"Yo! Someone calm down with the noise, it's seven in the morning, Jesus!" I yelled from my room, brushing my teeth vigorously so that I can hunt down Daniel and confront him for leaving me behind.

"Jayden! What did I tell you about not using the Lord's name in vain?!" Mom yells from the other side of the house.

I cursed under my breath and ignored her. It's unlikely for her to make so much noise this time of the morning, so it must be Kayden who's making so much noise.

I decided to head straight downstairs and what welcomed me was the smell of eggs and bacon laid out across the table with Kayden wearing that stupid smile on his face. Geez, someone's in a good mood.

Well I'm not.

"Are people this noisy in Canada?" I grimace, heading towards the sink to drink water.

"Are people this grumpy in America?" Kayden jokes, flipping his bacon and eggs. It smells so good, it has been awhile since I had a decent breakfast. My mom usually leaves early in the mornings and is gone for days and all I have with me is Daniel.

Now, I can't believe Kayden's back here again. I mean, don't get me wrong, it's still kind of awkward since this is the first time again that we saw each other after a while and it's also kind of weird that he looks so identical to me. I'm not used to it, it's like someone cloned me or something.

Except I'm ten times hotter and built than his.

But he ain't that bad.

"Hey bro, we're good, right?" He asks, dropping his spatula and facing me with his arms crossed. I eyed him back in return and thought about it.

Are we really good? Wait, why was I angry in the first place?

He left me out of nowhere, yes. I was completely broken and torn about it, yes. I was clueless for the first two years of my life, definitely. But who's to say that he didn't feel the same way? As time went by, I learned how to cope and as far as I'm concerned, I didn't die.

And I still have Daniel with me, at most.

But still, he's a dick for disappearing and not calling or even sending a letter.

Without a warning, I punched him in the face. It made him stumble but he quickly regained his balance. Examining the face, yep, that punch hurted him but I also made sure it didn't leave a mark.

"Come here bro!" I opened my arms and attacked him with my embrace. It feels so good to have my brother back.

I have my brother back!

He pats my back and squeezes me back. "Thank you." Yup, all it takes is one punch in the face and we find ourselves laughing again and having a nice breakfast that he made from scratch.

"You don't have to do this though." I said, munching on the mashed potato that he cooked. "Fuck! Your gravy's amazing! And this maple syrup?! Damn."

He just sat there with his hands resting on his chin, observing me as I ate. "Seeing your reaction makes it completely worth it."

"Uhm, I know this is kind of awkward and he may have not totally forgiven you yet but... where's Daniel?"

His face suddenly lit up for no reason and smiled at me. "Oh, he said he's going to see this... Peter guy? If my memory serves me correctly. I don't know who this Peter is but he specifically told me to tell you not to follow him." He nods as he tries to figure out who Peter is.

I knew it! That freaking Daniel Scott is a damn cheater! Bastard!

"Who's Peter?" He asks.

"That bastard." I cursed under my breath. I stood up from my seat as I walked towards my bike. If I'm not mistaken, that pissbutt loves his starbucks in the morning.

Tough shit, I'm going to follow him anyway.

And he knows well that I will.

"Hey, you and Daniel made up?" I ask, making sure that there's no bad blood between them anymore.

"Kind of, sort of... I don't know but we talked this morning so I guess." He shrugs, as if hiding something.

But whatever, I need to get to Daniel as soon as I can before him and Peter can make love or something. I'm the one who's gonna have Daniel's babies! Not the freaking nerd, sparkling Peter that looks like he belonged to a group of old vampire men that eats children for a living with his pale ass.

"How did you guys make up?" I ask again, putting my jacket on. Friggin jacket's too tight for my arms now.

"It was messy."

"Messy meaning he physically assaulted you and punched you in the balls kind of messy?" I ask, because that sounds about the Daniel I know. Don't underestimate that dwarf, he packs a punch and he's not the school's captain ball for nothing.

"Sure, that sounds like Daniel." He laughs. "But you know, he still has his reservations." That's Daniel for you. He's not easy to persuade and it's way harder to earn his trust. Luckily, I gained his.

"Well, don't worry. He still hates you but less. Be grateful." I chuckled.

"Anyway, where are you going?"

"You're going with me. Since you guys are on good terms, I say we prank that bastard."

"Now you're talking." He grins, rubbing his hands together and waiting for my idea.

"Twin switch?" I suggested.

"Hell yeah!"

"Good. Let's start with that Peter bastard." I said, my face turning grim. I'm gonna get you.

[Daniel's P.O.V]

"Damn... that's... a lot. You lucky bastard." Peter chuckles, sipping on his tea as he gives me a worrying look. I decided to contact Peter so we can hang out and leave Jayden behind. He's gonna follow me anyway.

He's like a kid and to be honest, I'm not in a mood to take care of kids and let them jeopardize my life.

"Yeah, it's really hard. A tough situation to be in." I groan, taking my own sip of coffee. Coffee makes everything better. When God said he's gonna create his best work, besides Henry Cavill, coffee is the next one of his best. "Thanks for hanging out with me, Peter. My life's a little dramatic right now and I could use some intelligent advice."

I called Peter because I was having a little—well not so little, mental breakdown this morning. It just occurred to me that Jayden has no idea that Kayden likes me and vice versa. "I just wish that they don't come to a point where they both fight."

I don't want to be that person who will ruin their brotherly bond. That's so fucked up considering I'm their best friend.

"Well, I'm happy to be the therapist of this bunch. Seriously, you and Jayden should get help and should stop calling me when things in your life go south."

I gave him a confused look. "When has Jayden ever called you?"

He sighs and flips my question away. "Do you like one of them?"

"I don't know." I said, biting my lip and looking up. "I'm still in the middle of testing the waters. I don't want anyone to be hurt. I like both of them equally but I know that's just impossible."

"Maybe you're just scared because if you decide to choose, the other will be left behind."

"That's exactly the reason why I'm here. What if I just disintegrate out of thin air? I think that would be a much more viable option."

"Unfortunately Daniel, we can't just disappear like that as much as we'd like to sometimes."

I pout in response. "But why?" I whined.

"You're so melodramatic, it's so cute." He chuckles. "Just have fun, go with the flow. Damn, if I were you I'd push the limits. Never had two hot guys chasing me." He winks.

I chuckled. "I would like to keep my sanity please." I know exactly what he meant when he said pushing the limits.

And that will never happen.

"I just wish they'd stop being so outspoken with their affection towards me sometimes. It keeps me in a loop and I don't know how to react."

"That's because you're still in denial, Daniel."

"But no! See, I already accepted my feelings towards Jayden but on that same day, this twat came out of nowhere with his hee-haw Canadian nicety and poutine bowls ruining everything that I thought I knew. "

"You know, I feel like you're rushing things. Just breathe. Everything's going to be alright. Nothing bad happened so far." Peter brushes his hand on mine, squeezing my palm tight as reassurance.

I sigh. "It's just difficult because you know, they can't just double penetrate my a—"

"Hi!" Peter cuts, reverting his gaze on the person that was standing beside me. I looked up and gasped in shock as I saw Kayden smiling sheepishly towards the both of us. "Jayden! It's nice to see you here."

I gave Kayden a confused look and then turned to Peter who thought this was Jayden. "But that's K—"

"What are you guys doing here?" Kayden continues, not bothering to correct Peter at the slightest.

Wait a minute... I recognize this smile. These twats are up to something.

"Wow, someone slept at the right side of the bed today. Come sit down with us Jayden. Your timing is impeccable. We were just talking about you. Daniel's having his little... dilemma."

"Which, frankly, I want to keep for the both of us." I gritted through my teeth. It was supposed to be a secret. How dare Peter expose me like this?!

"Oh really?" Kayden ignored my subtle threat. "What about me?"

"None of your business." I glared at him.

"Well, surely if it's about me then I have the right to know?"

"No." I said sternly.

Kayden stammers and decides to change the topic. Phew, unlike Jayden, Kayden knows when to stop pushing the buttons. If this is Jayden he'll just nag me to death and annoy me until I surrender and tell him what I'm thinking. "Anyway, you guys want to go to the mall or something?"

"Wow..." Peter utters, "you're acting weird Jayden. You're not trying to kill me today. Are you sick?"

Are they trying to pull a prank on Peter or something? Because I've been a victim of the 'twin switch' before and I've memorized who's who already. "No, silly." Kayden chuckles. "I'll head on to the restroom first. You two go outside and wait for me there." He nods then walks to the restroom but not before winking at me as if insinuating that I should cooperate with their stupid pranks.

I roll my eyes and pull Peter outside towards the parking lot. But before I can even reach my car, the real Jayden came stomping out of nowhere and right then and there, I knew I fucked up.

"You friggin cheater!" Jayden shouts, his steps becoming heavier as he gets closer and I can't believe that this is actually scaring me as if I actually cheated?!

Now I'm pissed too.

"Where have you been?!" He growls.

"None of your business, you're not my mother." I cross my arms, glaring back at him and crossing my arms.

"Wait, where did you come from? I thought you went to the washroom? And why are you so angry?" Peter asks, confused all of the sudden with what's happening.

"Shut up, sparkles!" Jayden growls.

"Jayden calm down!" I exclaim, pressing my hands against his chest and pushing him slightly.

"Boo!" Kayden screams all of the sudden, giving Peter a slight push making him squeal in return. Peter lost his balance but good thing Kayden was fast enough to catch him from falling to his face.

Kayden was dying from laughter from seeing Peter's reaction, while me and Jayden never lost sight of each other, busy with our little glaring contest.

Friggin Jayden always messes up the mood with his grumpy ass and temper tantrums.

Peter took his time as he looked back and forth between Jayden and Kayden, confused with what's going on. I never really mentioned that Jayden and Kayden were twins, I just told him they were brothers so this is all news to him. "I think that tea has some LSD in it. I'm tripping, seeing two Jaydens."

I sigh, breaking contact with Jayden and placing a hand on Peter's back, making sure he's alright. "I'm so sorry Peter. I forgot to mention that they're twins. Peter, meet Kayden. Kayden, this is Peter."

The two exchanged pleasantries and smiled at each other. I can already tell that Peter's more comfortable with Kayden than Jayden who's always angry for no apparent reason.

"So this is the other person you're talking about?" Peter whispers to my ear, pulling me away from the twins.

I nodded in response, biting my lip from concern.

Peter suddenly chuckles, wiggling his eyebrows towards me. "You're doomed."

That, I can agree with.

"What's going on? Why are you two acting so weird? Stop whispering to him." Jayden fumes, pulling me to his side again.

"Something you wanna tell us?" Kayden joins in, probably noticing Jayden's sudden possessiveness against Peter.

"Drop it. Both of you." I said to the both of them. "I told you not to follow me here!" I gave Jayden a look.

"You can't tell me what to do, I'm not your mother." He replies, causing me to pinch the bridge of my nose in return. Why does he always make things so hard for the both of us?

"You know what? I'm stoked. Let's just go home. All of us." I shrug, losing all my social energy all of the sudden. Something about Jayden and Kayden together with all their tall and muscular presence makes me want to gag. I can't handle two taurus people all at once.

"We can't go home yet." Kayden smiles.

"We're going camping." Jayden frowns.

"And you can tag along." Kayden winks at Peter, making him feel included as usual. Kayden was always the alpha type.

This caused Peter to look at me, a devilish smile playing in his lips. "Purrfect."

A perfect recipe for disaster.
