♡No One's POV♡★

Nene was sat in her class listening to her teacher. Well not really. The white-haired girl was to lost in her thought to even pay attention. There had been so many things that had happened. 'I know that I'm acting weird' Nene thought to herself. 'For some reason, ever since I got a glimpse of Hanako-Kun's past in the 4 O'clock Library, I can't bring myself to look Hanako-Kun in the eye. Or even Y/N-chan!' The young teen thought as a frown makes its way on her lips.

After the day was over and Nene said her goodbyes to Aoi, Nene went to the gardening club to get her mind off everything. 'I mean...' Nene put both her gloves on before picking the hoe. She lifted it in the air before slamming it down into the dirt. 'I'm a normal girl!' When she was finished she grabbed a small scythe and began cutting the outgrown weeds like a madwoman. "It's all because of the memories I saw in the library! They made it all seem weirdly real!'

Nene soon stopped and stared down at the scythe in her hands. 'What would be the best thing to do?' Nene asked herself. A sigh escaped the girl's lips in defeat. 'I have Toilet cleaning duty again today. I'm going have to see Hanako-Kun and Y/N-Chan...'

As Nene was about to continue getting rid of the weeds she heard a voice from behind her. "OH WOW!" She heard a familiar voice exclaim, surprising Nene a little, "So you're the one taking care of this garden, Senpai?" Nene quickly looked up at the person and her eyes widened in surprise as she realised who it was. "I always wondered who was in charge of it" the young exorcist said.

"M-MINAMOTO-KUN!?" Nene yelled staring up at the young teen who was looking around the school garden.

Kou looked down and chuckled at his Senpai's shocked expression. "Yo!" The boy exclaimed out smiling brightly. It was like Nene was staring at the sun.

Kou crouched down next to Nene. "What are you doing here...?" The girl questioned. Before Kou could say anything Nene cut him off realising why Kou was probably here. "Oh! Is it time for toilet cleaning already?" She asked. "Did you come to get me?" Even though she didn't really want to go, she knew she had to face the two ghosts.

"Actually, I have kind of a favour to ask you..." Kou said making Nene raise an eyebrow.

"A favour?" The girl questioned, wondering what Kou needed.

"Um..." A sweat down from Kou's head as he tried to figure out how to ask Nene. "Senpai..."The blonde said with a small blush. "...Can you make doughnuts?" Nene stared at the blonde for a few seconds feeling a bit surprised before slowly nodding a little. "Great!" The blonde yelled out with a large smile. "Go change and meet me in the Home Ec. Room in 15 minutes" Kou told the white-haired girl.

Nene opened her mouth to question why, but before she could get a single word out Kou had already walked off. Nene sat there for a few seconds in confusing, wondering why the young exorcist needs her help. "I guess I have to go to find out" the girl told herself with shoulders before getting herself and walking off back into the school to get out of her gardening clothes. "And anyway how bad could it be."

♡Time Skip♡★

"Man, I'm so glad you can cook, senpai! You're a lifesaver, seriously!" Kou yelled out as he watched a horrified Nene walk into the Home Ec. Room. "I was working on it with Nii-chan until a little while ago..." Kou said trailing off at the end to look at the 'food' him and his brother tried to make. "...but I'm such a bad cook. I made a few mistakes!" Kou chuckled out nervously.

Now when Nene walked into Home Ec. Room she wasn't expecting to see a huge mess. It had looked like a bomb had gone off. Stuff was everywhere. On the stove was a pan and in the pan were what looked to be rocks. There were cracked egg on side, flower everywhere and unclean dishes. The Mokki were also there, probably keeping Kou Company as he tried baking.

Nene took one look at everything and regretted coming. "A few...?" Nene repeated confusedly with a hint of disgust in her voice. She felt a sweat drop down her forehead at the sight of the kitchen.

Nene walked over and began cleaning up the mess Kou had made. 'The Home Ec. Room is a disaster...Poor Minamoto' Nene thought with an unpleasant expression as she threw away the burnt food.

"Oh! I already talked to Hanako and got you off for cleaning duty!" Kou mentioned. "I don't think L/N-senpai appreciates being left alone with him though" the young exorcist told chuckling nervously as remember the death glare he got from Y/N when he asked Hanako.

"Thanks" Nene said as she then began cleaning the table. As she was doing this she looked up at Kou. "But why are you making doughnuts all of a sudden?" The girl asked.

This surprised Kou. "Ngh...!" He never really expected for Nene to ask so he was kinda caught off guard. "N-no reason..." He stuttered out. "It's f-for my sister...Oh, I have a little sister! And suddenly she just started going on and it n about how she needs doughnuts...My kitchen isn't a great place for making doughnuts, so I'm borrowing the school's..." Kou blabbered out with a nervous expression. He then turned and looked at Nene who was beginning to start making the doughnuts and smiled at her sheepishly. "Sorry to spring this on you!"

"No, it's okay" Nene told the blonde. "Actually I think you did me a bit of a favour" the girl said as she began taping the flour siffer, making the flour that was in it go in a bowl. "I'm kinda having a hard time facing both Y/N-chan and Hanako-Kun lately..." Nene explained, placing the wet ingredients into the bowl. "Oh!" Nene looked up at Kou and saw a concerned look on his face "I-it's not like we had we fight or anything like that!" Nene shrieked out as she picks up the bowl and began staring the wet and dry ingredients to together. "It's just been a little awkward or something, I guess" the white-haired girl explained, not really paying attention to how fast she was staring. Bit of dough was flying out of the bowl without Nene realising.

Kou quickly noticed this and grabbed Nene hand. "Hold up!" He yelled making Nene jump a little in surprise. Kou moved closer to Nene, holding the recipe book in one hand and Nene hand in the other. "You're supposed to mix it like this..." Kou pointed out as he guided Nene's hand.

Nene looked down at recipe book and noticed that Kou was correct. There in big bold letters said: STIR IT GENTLY!. 'He's right' the girl thought before she realised something that Kou said to her just a few minutes away. 'Wait? I thought he was a cook...?' She thought a little bit surprised.

Kou continued to hold Nene's hand as he stirred the dough. "Sometimes, you just feel burned out" the boy said going back to what Nene was on about before he interrupted her. "You couldn't ever see these things before, and now all of a sudden, it's like that's all you can see" Kou explained to Nene as she stood the in silence. She had never really seen the boy this serious before. To Nene, Kou was this adorable boy. He kind of reminded her of a puppy. And that really wasn't her type. But when he was acting like this it gave her butterflies. It like the first time she met her previous crush's. "Even I have times when I just can't take it anymore...and I've seen them all my life..." Kou just perfectly explained how Nene was feeling on this whole ghost thing. "If you need somebody to vent to, I'm always here for you! I might not be very helpful...But I'm on your side, senpai!" The blonde exorcist said, grinning down at the white-haired girl.

"Minamoto-Kun..." The blushing girl whispered softly but just enough for Kou to hear. "Umm...You're a little close..." Nene pointed out, glancing down at Kou's hand that gripped Nene's small hands.

Kou's eyes widened before a huge blush made its way onto the boy's face. He quickly let Nene go and backed away. "I-I-I'M SO SORRY!!" He yelled out startling Nene a tiny bit not expecting that reaction from him. "ITS NOT LIKE THAT...! ITS A HABIT FROM WHEN I COOK WITH MY SISTER!" He explained before turning away from Nene and began running away in embarrassment. Kou must have tripped over or something because next thing Nene knew, the boy was face first in the trash.

Mokke quickly surrounded Kou. "Are you dead?" One Mokke question. "Did you die?" The same Mokke asked.

A tick mark appeared on the Kou's head as he glares at the cute thing that in front of him. "IM NOT DEAD!" The young exorcist yelled.

A large smile made it's way onto the white-haired girl lips at the sight of Kou 'arguing' with a Mokke. "Hee hee" the girl giggles as she placed and hand over her mouth. "Thank you, Minamoto-Kun. Then...since you offered, maybe I will talk to you...if that's okay?"

Kou looked away from the Mokke and a huge smile made its way onto his lips. "Y-YES IT IS!" He said beaming brightly. He felt so happy Nene wanted to talk about something that was going on in her mind. To some, this wouldn't seem that excited to get over but to Kou, it meant some much. He felt like him and Nene were becoming a step closer...

"Everybody wants happiness, nobody wants pain, but you can't have a rainbow without a little rain."
