POV: you are a roach and Sakusa is eliminating you

You silently looked over the train timetables, glad to see one that was going your way. Sakusa wanted to do something, anything that could help but he knew it was better to shut up for now.

You texted your mom to say you'd be coming and you'd explain when you got there and the train ride was quiet.
"Do you want a snack or anything?" Sakusa asked.
You shook your head though he could hear your grumbling stomach. He stood up and got some snacks from the vendor and handed you a bottle of water and chocolate bar.
You silently opened the wrapper and devoured the bar, taking small sips of water.

After a while you sighed and rested your head on Sakusa's shoulder. "...I'm sorry" you said quietly. He kissed your forehead gently. "You didn't do anything wrong, I'm here for you Kay?"
You nodded and dozed off on his shoulder.
"Y/n, we're here". You woke up by Sakusa informing you the train arrived. After getting a taxi you arrived home and opened the door to see Kazuko walking up the stairs. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" He saw the distraught look on your face and frowned. "What happened? Did Sakusa do something? I'll kill him" he said angrily.

"I'm... right here" Sakusa said, stepping in. This made you giggle a little and you assured Kazuko that Sakusa was not to blame for your bad mood.

"Dad is here..." you said. Kazuko immediately got serious. "Let me guess, he wants you to move back to America. You nodded and he sighed. "Moms in the kitchen, let's go."

You told your mom about everything that happened. "That man! Don't worry baby I won't let him do anything you don't want."
She hugged you tightly then turned to Sakusa. "Thank you for defending y/n. I'll see to it that he apologises to you too". Sakusa nodded and smiled.

The bell rang suddenly and you already knew who it was. You got up to answer but your mom stopped you. "Don't worry, I got this."

Your mom opened the door and your dads eyes widened. "Megumi...".
"Alex. I'd say it's a pleasure to see you but I'd be lying. What do you want?" she replied.
"I- is y/n here?" he asked.
"She is. And she'll be staying here. I can't believe you, you're so overbearing and you don't care about anyone's feelings except your own. That's why we separated, or did you forget? You really never learn".

Your dad was silent. "Listen Megs, you know I always cared about you. Hell I still do".
At this point Kazuko appeared behind your mom.

"Kazuko. How are you?" Your dad asked with a smile.
"Cut the shit. I know what you did to y/n and Sakusa."

"What the hell is she doing living alone and with a boy???" he argued.
"You don't even know the boy, you think we'd let them be alone if we didn't trust him?? You owe them both an apology" Kazuko said.

Your dad sighed and rubbed his temple. "Can I at least come in and talk to her?"
Your mom paused for a moment before opening the door. "This doesn't mean she's going with you." She said.

He stepped in the house and frowned slightly as he looked around. "It's different".
"Yeah well you haven't been here in years" Kazuko said as he led him to the kitchen.

"Y/n. And... Sakusa" your dad said.
"Dad." you said shortly.
"Can we talk? In private" he added, looking at Sakusa.
Sakusa looked at you and you nodded so he left the kitchen along with your mom and brother.

"Why won't you come back?" he asked.
"You're inconsiderate to others, overbearing, really insensitive and mean and I love Japan" you said.

Your dad sighed and nodded. "I.. miss you. The house is so empty without you" he admitted.
"Then you shouldn't have made mom divorce you" you said simply.
"You think I don't regret that??? I wish I could've done better every day of my life. But you can't change the past" he said .

You sighed at your dads stupidity

"You can change your future actions though. And you should tell her that, not me."

You sat there in silence for a few moments before you stood up. "Well, great talk. I don't care if you insult me but you need to apologise to Sakusa".
Your dad silently nodded so you called Sakusa in.
"Uh, hello again?" he said.

"I... apologise for my rudeness before. You're my daughters boyfriend correct?"
Sakusa nodded and smiled slightly.

"....so you're one of the top aces in the country?" your dad said, clearly impressed.
"Yes sir, I plan to play professionally" Sakusa said.

They had been talking for about 15 minutes now and you were surprised your dad actually apologised. "Well, I guess I gotta go now" your dad said, standing up. "It was nice to meet you Sakusa-san".
"Likewise sir" Sakusa responded and they shook hands.

Your dad turned to you and smiled. "I'll come back to visit soon."
You nodded and as he walked out he stopped by your mum.
"Megumi... it was great to see you again".

And with that, he left. You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding and noticed Sakusa did the same.
"So... where were we?"
Sakusa chuckled at you and you both headed up to your room to cuddle.

"I didn't expect him to actually apologise. He must like you" you said.
"As long as you like me I don't care" Sakusa responded.
"Yeah well I do. A lot".

You shared a sweet kiss and fell asleep in his arms. You couldn't wait to see what the future would hold for you two...
