My stomach hurts along with my throat. The bile is still tasted in my tongue as I fight the urge to throw up again. Nanny is panicking, calling frantically to the doctor who treated me before.

"Please! She's throwing up! You said to report to you as soon as possible if she ever feels sick! Now she's-" her voice was drown out when the front door banged open and I heard loud footsteps running towards us.

Zach came into view and he immediately rushed towards me. I am clean now but I still feel sick. His strong arms wrapped around me as I rested my head at his shoulder. "Are you OK?" He asked sounding panicked and worried.

I didn't answer because I am too sick to even say anything back.

Before I know it, he picked me up bridal style before running out as I seep into darkness once again.

"....to her"

"Mr. Harrison, her body is reacting badly to her wounds-"

"But she was never like that before!"

Opening my eyes, I was greeted in a private hospital room with Zach and the doctor arguing. Nanny is beside me, looking worried but flashes me a gentle smile when she noticed I'm awake.

"There must be some things that is keeping her from accepting it. I have given her the ointments and IV's to support her body for it to heal. Maybe her body is not healed in the same way before, that's why she is reacting to it badly" the doctor said as he checked his notes and graphs.

"You're right. She was never healed that way before" Nanny said in wonder as her face contort in puzzlement.

"But you also said that she's been whipped before. Is she not receiving the healment correctly?! She could've died!" Zach roared in anger as he punch the wall. The force of his anger caused the wall to crack.

"Do you think her parents care if she did? They would be thrilled to have her out of their lives. They didn't even let us take her to the hospital and even though we manage to take her, the doctors are too much of a coward to heal her" Nanny said while running her hand in my hair.

"Those fuckers!!" Zach roared again.

"She won't be able to eat in a week or so. So as a solution, she should stay here so that she would be given IV nutrients and would be properly checked on; see if she recovers well then she'll be fine." The doctor informed us in confidence.

"And if it doesn't?" Zach inquired angrily.

"There are a few ways to keep her recovering. But..." He looks worried. "If there's a possibility that those doesn't work...I'm afraid..."

Zach roared as he grabbed the doctor in the collar "Don't, I repeat, DON'T ever say or suggest anything about that. She will live. SHE WILL! And you will keep her alive" he growled as he let the doctor go.

"My apologies, Mr. Harrison" the doctor bowed down with a show of neck before leaving.

Zach takes in a very long deep breath before approaching me. I stare up at his tired dark obsidian eyes. There were bags under his eyes as they seem more tired.

"Are you OK?" Was my first word since I woke up.

Nanny looked at me with a sad smile and a light shake of her head.

"Asking me that when you should ask yourself that?" he said attempting a small smile.

Nanny chuckled "She's always the selfless one"
