I wake up and Jared is asleep in my bed. I guess he fell asleep before he could make it back to the guest room. I sigh before waking my friend up, then I grab my clothes for today. I go to the bathroom, and I take a fifteen minute shower.

I put on some black and red tights with white lettering, a black sweater with a holes in the shoulders, and some black boots (outfit in the media). I straighten my hair before I meet Jared in the living room, where Paul is at too.

"Hey, Paul." I kiss his cheek. "You could have came last night too."

"I decided to let Jared calm you down." Paul smirks towards a tired looking Jared. "Jared is riding with me."

"That's fine." I reply. "Jared, where did you put my car key?"

Jared fumbles in his pockets and hands me my Impala keys. "Be careful, Brandi."

"Thanks, guys." I hug them both, and kiss Paul. "See you at school."

I leave my house and I get into my car. I smile at the guys before I pull out of my driveway. I drive to La Push, and park beside Jacobs rabbit. Paul and Jared pull up beside me, and we all get it of our vehicles, including Jacob.

Regina stops me in the hallway. "Decorating starts at 2:30, right after the end of the day announcements, tell Rachel and Kim."

"I will, Regina, thank you." I smile phonily and I walk away from her.

Paul kisses the top of my head. "Why be so mean?"

"She likes my man." I scowl.

Paul chuckles. "I love you, only you."

"I know, but I get territorial." I get on my tippeetoes and kiss Paul on the cheek. "You're mine, and I don't share."

Paul wraps a strong arm around my small waist. "And you're mine, I don't share either."

"Now that that's settled, I have class." I chirp before grabbing my books, and slamming my locker closed.
----

Right after announcements, Rachel, Kim and I head towards the gym for prom decorating. Everyone is here, Regina is even on time. Rachel, Kim, and I all join the others and begin decorating for prom.

Regina is struggling with cutting the red paper for the red carpet entrance.

"Regina, you need help?" I ask.

Regina digs in relief. "Please, Brandi! I'll be your friend."

"I'll do it because I hate seeing anyone struggle." I smile. "Plus, this prom will be badass because you are the head of the prom committee."

"Thanks, Brandi." Regina sniffles. "You and Paul look great together, by the way."

I just smile for a response and we begin working on the red carpet, for the prom entrance. Rachel notices Regina and me bonding, and she grins widely. She loves it when I amend broken friendships and fix them.

Regina and I were friends in middle school, before she became the head honcho, the lead cheerleader in eighth grade. The other cheerleaders told her I wasn't popular enough for her attention, so she stopped being my friend.

---

"Oh and Brandi, I am sorry for how I did you in middle school." Regina admits as we lead the gym that night.

"Don't worry about it; I'll put it behind us if you stop being so mean to me add leave my Paul alone."

Regina sighs, relieved. "Thank god, I have missed you. I'm dating Junior Baker."

"Congrats." I smile. "I gotta go, in seeing my sister and her fiancé, then going home to Forks."

I get into my Impala and I drive to Sam's. Sam is sitting in the front porch, talking on the phone. He waves at me before motioning for me to go on inside. Paul smiles at my happiness.

"You're chipper." Jared pipes in when Paul remains silent.

"Regina and I are friends again." I smile. "We made up while I helped her with her prom entrance."

"Is the prom gonna be good?" Paul asks.

"It's gonna be beautiful." I grin. "Regina is a genius when it comes to event planning."

"Good, or you'd have to go alone." Jared says jokingly, winking.

I roll my eyes and I go to the kitchen, visiting with Emily. "Hey, sister."

Emily smiles as she eats a curly fry. "Hi, B. How do you like Forks?"

"It's quiet, I like that." I shrug. "It gets lonely, without the Cullen's."

"I'll bet." Emily says.

Emily seems to be avoiding conversation with me. She has been this way since I moved out, and decided to be on my own.

I furrow my eyebrows. "I will leave you alone."

I go outside to my car, and I drive home. Bella is standing on my porch, a carton of chocolate ice cream in hand.

"I miss Edward." She dads to me. "Want to share some ice cream?"

I smile as I step onto the porch. "Lets load up on the calories."

I unlock the door, and we both walk inside. I ran two metal spoons as Bella opens the ice cream tub, and we demolish the ice cream.

"Jacob is coming to the movies with Mike Newton and me tomorrow night."

"Sounds dreary." I laugh. "I'm going to my prom."

"That sounds fun."  Bella smiles. "I'm going home."

I lock the door behind Bella and I go to my room. I grab my prom dress out of my closet and hand it on my bedroom door. I take a twenty minute bath, relaxing my muscles before I lay down in my bed, fully naked. I close my eyes and I fall asleep.
