The jet was luxurious to say the least and very comfortable. I would have been gawking so hard if it had been any other time. But the solemn, scary kidnapper sitting beside me was a huge dampener.

The plane was so big but for some reason the man thought it necessary to sit right next to me, almost squashing me with his big frame.

He also smelled like sweat. So yeah. Not pleasant at all.

It was weird but as we took off into the air, my fear decreased. I was still nervous as hell and worried about Damien back home but for some reason I was no longer afraid of facing whatever was awaiting me on the other end.

Instead I was mad.

Very very mad.

It just was not fair. I was finally getting to live my dream life with an amazing boyfriend and a stable job only for some psycho to come and ruin it. It made my blood boil and I promised myself that I would put up a goddamn bloody fight.

If Alexander thought that I would be submitting to him out of fear, he was so very wrong.

But I was also aware of the dangers of messing with a man like him. He did not love me or care for me. He just wanted to own me. He would not hesitate to hurt me if I was a bother.

I would have to bide my time.

When the pilot announced that we were landing, I sat up nervously to look out of the window. I was expecting to be brought to a dark and gloomy hell but instead our plane was approaching a relatively normal looking airport.

It was useless to enquire about where we were. The man beside me hadn't spoken a single word during the ride. He was definitely not a big talker.

The plane landed with a jolt. I even saw other passenger flights circling the runway. But our jet headed away from the main building and stopped before a hanger.

"Get up. Time to go," my kidnapper said and went to grab my arm. I glared at him and shook his hand off. He scowled at me.

"Feisty I see. But don't worry. After the boss is done with you, you won't even be able to stand," he said and smirked.

I tried my best to not let his words faze me. He was just being an asshole. I had little doubt that what he said was not a complete lie but I refused to think about that now. I would worry about Alexander when I see him.

I followed behind him as he led us out of the jet. There were more men waiting for us outside, all of them stoic and silent.

I was led to yet another car and asked to get in. I did not even try to disobey. All of them were carrying revolvers and were strong enough to break me in half.

The car was started. I saw people getting out of the passenger flights and all I wanted was to scream at them to save me. But the thick, highly tinted windows meant that they couldn't even see me or hear me.

It was an even more uncomfortable ride than the previous one because there were three more people in the car. They all looked like assassins who had killed a thousand people already.

I took in my surroundings and tried to guess where I was. Judging by the landscape and the people I figured that most probably I was somewhere near the United Kingdom.

An entire ocean away from Damien.

His memory brought a crushing pain along with it. I wanted nothing more than to hide myself away in his arms and breathe in his scent.

It was almost unbelievable. How was it possible that my life had changed so much in only a day? I was in a different country now. A fucking different country! Not to mention the fact that I was probably being taken to a dark dungeon or something.

I breathed deeply in an effort to reduce the rising panic I felt. The fear was coming back and I did not want to be a crybaby now of all times.

I had gotten myself into this mess and it was up to me to get myself out.

The drive was very scenic indeed but my mind hardly registered the beauty of the surroundings. But even I had to gasp in awe when suddenly I caught a small glimpse of the sea in the distance.

I wanted to roll down the windows and breathe in the salty air but I didn't dare to do so.

Soon after that the driver took a turn and stopped in front of a large gate. There were two huge men with equally huge guns standing in front of the gate.

The driver rolled down his window and nodded his head at them. They nodded back and the gate opened immediately.

The driveway was equally as impressive and seemed to go on for ages. It lead to a beautiful beige house with was just big enough to be both luxurious and cosy.

I was honestly shocked that they would bring me to a place this nice. This seemed like an expensive holiday resort. Except for the men with guns of course.

I was asked to get down. The man guided me to the door and into the foyer. It was breathtakingly beautiful with  beige furnishings and a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

To my utmost surprise and pleasure, the men accompanying me simply told me to wait there and went away. All of them. Not even my surly kidnapper stayed behind.

I was not stupid enough to think that this was my chance to escape. Those men weren't imbeciles. If they had left me here it meant that this place was as good as a prison.

A beautiful prison but a prison nonetheless.

I decided to explore the house seeing that I had nothing else to do than wait.

Wait for whatever was coming my way.

AN: So sorry for the delay guys. Med school is kicking my ass.
