(This takes place during "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Sorry, no Loki this time... And I know the time sequence doesn't line up. Just go with it. Also this one's pretty long so get ready.)

Stephen's PoV

The Ancient One marched into the room I was in, looking distressed. It surprised me to see her that way, as she usually was able to keep calm during most situations. She stood in front of me and exhaled, trying to steady her breathing.

"Is everything okay?" I asked her with worry lacing my voice.

"There's something- there's a threat, I've never seen before. I've dealt with mystical villainous beings in the past, but this one is different," she paused, recalling his appearance. "He's made out of metal, but he has a conscience."

"I heard about him in the news. I believe he goes by the name of 'Ultron'," I responded. "The Avengers should be able to take care of him," I added nonchalantly.

"Stephen, I need you to help them," she requested.

"What? Why?" I questioned. I didn't see how a whole team of superheroes wouldn't be able to handle a robot by themselves.

"There's a lady that's being held as a slave to Ultron. I believe that she has certain very powerful abilities which could be useful to us against future enemies," she explained.

I sighed. "Fine, I'll check it out," I concluded. She smiled, clearly more relaxed than before.

I contacted Tony Stark, letting him know that I was heading over, and traveled to Sokovia. I got along pretty well with him, considering how similar we seemed to be, even though our egos clashed with each other once in a while. We agreed on a meeting spot and they appeared to have been already expecting my entrance as I opened the door. I analyzed them, looking at every detail on their suits. It was interesting to see them in person rather than through a TV screen.

"Mister Stephen Strange-" Tony began before I cut him off.

"Doctor Strange," I corrected.

"Right, how careless it was for me to have overlooked your profession," he said sarcastically. "Doctor Strange, what do you think of the Avengers?"

"It's definitely an honor to meet you, but I'm not seeing the beaming sunshine around each of you that everyone fantasizes about," I stated.

"Sorry to disappoint," he said in a jokingly manner and then proceeded to point to each of the Avengers. "You might know their superhero names, but I'll introduce you to their real identities. This is Natasha Romanoff, which I'm assuming you know that she used to work for a Soviet agency and then became an agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. Then here we have Steve Rogers; the honorable super-soldier of the 40's who's now a super-soldier of the 21st century. Then there's Bruce Banner; the scientist who got the powers of the Hulk from radioactivity. I know you know this already but, just in case, don't make him angry. Next, Clint Barton, he has good eyesight. Just kidding, he's very agile and supposedly never misses a shot. Here is Vision - I guess you could call him one of my creations - I don't really know how to describe him. You'll see more of him when we fight. And last but not least, the mighty Asgardian god of thunder, Thor."

"What about us?" A strange (*cough*) looking girl and boy asked in unison with Sokovian accents.

"Oh, yeah, I assumed Cap would want to give you the proper welcoming to our team, but I guess you're close enough to becoming Avengers. This is Scarlet Witch, or Wanda Maximoff, and this is Quicksilver, or Pietro Maximoff," Tony explained.

"What makes them special?" I asked with curiosity.

"He's fast, she's weird. Pretty much sums it up," Natasha concluded.

"Okay, then. Let's kick some metallic ass and save the girl," I stated with determination.

"What do you mean 'save the girl'?" Vision questioned, clearly confused like everyone else.

"My master, the Ancient One, said that there's a powerful lady in danger that we need to save," I said.

"If she's so powerful, then how come she's been captured?" Hawkeye asked.

"If it takes all of us to defeat Ultron and his army, I'm pretty sure they would be able to take her down," I suggested.

"That's true," Bruce agreed.

"We must defeat Ultron and save the lady," Thor stated with his booming voice.

"But how do you expect us to do that?" Wanda wondered.

"Let's just say I have a very keen eye for these things. I think we'll manage," I answered.

We succeeded in finding where Ultron's army was located, getting ready to fight, and I was given the task of finding the girl. I walked around discretely, taking out bots as silently as possible along the way. I couldn't seem to find her anywhere, although knowing how she looked like would have probably helped. Eventually, Wanda came up to me and shared that she had found the girl's location through her telepathy. That definitely helped, so in a little while longer I finally found her. I tapped on her shoulder and she turned around in surprise. She used her powers to hold me up in the air, and I noticed her eyes turn a complete shade of F/C, as her hair gravitated upwards. I took a second to check her out, and found that she was actually beautiful. I could see why Ultron wanted to keep her.

"Whoa, calm down! I'm here to rescue you!" I shouted in hopes that she would let me go.

"I don't need rescuing! I'm currently in the process of saving myself!" She shouted back. "I've spent enough time with Ultron that I have discovered important information necessary to defeat him. I don't need your help."

"Have you seen the amount of robots Ultron's got? You need our help," I said.

"'Our?'" She asked with slight confusion.

"Right, it might be important to mention that the Avengers are also with me," I commented.

She appeared to recognize them so she slowly put me down. She then took a knife she had concealed on the side of her leg and brought it up to my neck. "If you betray me, I will not hesitate to kill you!"

I held up my hands in defense, "I won't, I promise!"

She let her guard down and we soon joined the Avengers. We didn't have time to introduce everyone as Ultron's army approached us at high speeds.

"Oh, shit!" Pietro exclaimed at the sight. We certainly weren't expecting so many droids.

"Language!" Cap scolded him.

"I thought you were done with that!" Tony remarked.

"It's a hard habit to break..." He responded.

"Guys, this isn't the time!" Natasha yelled, getting her weapons ready.

"She's right; we have to act fast!" I agreed.

The lady we found fired an electrical shock wave which paralyzed the first round of droids. Everyone's eyes widened in shock and gratefulness. She was able to buy us a little more time to get ready.

Cap looked over at all of us and said the defining words, "Avengers, assemble!"

We headed under a crumbling building, expecting the next wave to arrive shortly after. We formed a circle as Ultron and his bots surrounded us from all sides. The fight was about to begin.

It took a long time, but we were finally able to defeat Ultron and his army, and it turned out that the lady we found was of more use than we had originally expected. She was definitely as powerful as the Ancient One said she would be. We also finally found out her name, Y/N, and I may have even developed feelings for her. Maybe, just maybe, I would be able to get her to return those feelings one day.
