*3:40 am 20 seconds*

The Queen's noble entered the library, his body heavy and trudging along after an entire day of paperwork. His body was begging for a bed, but he needed to finish one last job.

He held a bundle of documents in his hand and headed towards the first row to the left of the bookshelves. Seeing me, he stopped and the documents fell from his hands. My heart raced and my mind went blank. I could not think of any response that would help me solve this situation.

"What's happening here! Isn't that Prince Charles? Blasphemy!" he spoke.

I augmented my fist and legs, lowered my body's center of gravity, and took a horse stance to grapple him.

6 seconds passed, 3:40 am 26 seconds.

But, before I moved an inch, Alyssa grabbed my hand with her calm demeanor and ran right towards him. Passing by his right side, she aimed for the front gate to escape!

He initially was stunned and hesitated to take action due to the involvement of his princess, but then immediately gained inertia and ran towards us.

9 seconds passed, 3:40 am 29 seconds

On the way to the front gate, we jumped on the center table — holding hands and kicked the lying books on him — blocking his path, but to be of no avail as he dodged each one of them.

"This is crazy! Allow me to attack him and settle this!" I exclaimed. "Running won't lead us anywhere. The front door takes up quite a time in the security check; moreover, I am an outsider. It won't let me through."

No matter what I said, she ignored me as if my opinions were null and continued running towards the door.

The sound of the noble's footsteps made my heart pound, and every beat commanded me to attack him.

But, to my shock, what I was about to witness was mind-boggling; it was the most beautiful experience I had ever since setting foot on this planet.

15 seconds passed, 3:40 am 35 seconds

"God's time minor! Time-reverse," Alyssa commanded.

A blue orb appeared on her hand, shaped like a clock, and she reversed the time of that clock.

As we approached the front gate, the world around us seemed like a pool of water, a lake! Moreover, I could hear sparkling sounds as we moved forward.

The books we kicked rose up from the ground and went back to the table.

My focus turned to the noble as his actions became quite funny, dodging over those rising books. He ran in reverse and started walking in reverse and approached the gate at the same time we approached it! The gate opened and all three of us went through together.

It was almost as if time itself was reversing for our surroundings.

I glanced towards Alyssa, she was a gem amidst this miracle. The waves of time reflected off her face, as her beauty exemplified. Her aura filled my heart with pleasant emotions.

Moreover, the aroma she had was the icing over the cake which made my heart all hers.

[What in the world was that. Did she seriously reverse time?]

"Prince, your tic must be from the Kshatriya family? It Augments your physical abilities, am I right?" she asked.

"Um... yes."

[That's right, I told her about my tic back when we were young.]

"Then, can you use your super-strength to make a shock wave of air?" she asked.

"Yeah, piece of cake... but why?"

"Do what I asked!"

Her authoritative voice pierced directly through my heart, and I immediately followed her order just like our younger days.

I augmented my fist's brute force and agility, then made a quick punch in the air in front of me to create a shock wave strong enough to blow the noble away; this happened simultaneously as the world annealed to its earlier state.

We used this opportunity of confusion to flee from Citadel.

*3:40 am 20 seconds*

One of the Queen's nobles was about to enter the library through the front gate. His body, heavy after an entire day of paperwork, was begging for a cozy bed. Suddenly a windstorm appeared and blew him away. The important documents from his hand got scattered all around the hallway, making him panic.

"Huh? What was that! Is this place haunted? Oh no! Come back my precious documents!" The noble screamed with tension.

We ran through the stairs until we reached outside of Citadel, where we stopped to gasp air with all our might. I recovered within seconds by augmenting my stamina, but Alyssa had almost collapsed.

I caught her before she fell and carried her on my back. Her juicy bossoms pressed against my back, making my blood rush. I walked through the icy roads to the garden in front of the guest palace and collapsed on its flower bed.

The biting cold ground was a contrast to her warm body.

The gale whistled through the night, making the frost-leaves fall like winter rain. The crickets chirped, and the trevors croaked in a symphony of nature.

Alyssa's aroma mixed with these flower's natural fragrance was making my head go crazy.

Alyssa raised her head and whispered to my ear.

"What you saw in the library was my tic. My tic is 'God's time minor','' she paused while regaining her breath.

Her breath brushed against my ears, reddening them. Desires to turn over and kiss her clouded my mind. But, I somehow controlled myself.

[Aah! I read about it in the book. It has the ability to reverse time, and every person from Ice-Queen's bloodline who possesses this tic is chosen to become the next Ice-Queen. It's said to be a rival power against the Oracle's tic which can see into the future.]

"Fifteen seconds. That's the limit of my esper-charge. We barely made it with sheer luck..." she continued, as her lips almost grazed my ear.

"That is one, umm, unique tic. I cannot fathom of any other tic messing with time like that," I said, stuttering from my overwhelming lust.

She gracefully stood up, dusting off her dress. I couldn't help but stare at her cleavage that made itself visible.

[Is she doing this on purpose?]

"But are you sure you should, umm, tell me the limits of your tic? I can use it against you?" I smirked, hiding my blush.

"You sure are funny, boy. I don't really think such caution would be necessary. I know you enough to evaluate that much," she said.

Somehow her words provided me with a warm and pleasant feeling. I closed our distance to kiss her lips.

She hopped to avoid the kiss and slapped me. I stood there and didn't move a muscle. For a moment my mind was blank.

"I ought to leave now. I suggest that you should too." she said with her cold voice.

I looked down and closed my eyes shut.

[Damn. This is embarrassing.]

She prepared to leave as the dry flowers on the ground crackled with her every step on them.

[Oh right! I need to ask her about the Oracle.]

"Wait! I wanted to talk to you about something. Can we stay a bit longer?" I asked.

"Not now, I had enough with you. I won't tell anyone about your little secret — but if you repeat what you did today, I won't grant you any mercy. You wanted to know about the legend of Dragonlords, right? Someday I will tell you if it pleases me."

Alyssa maintained her dignified posture and looked down on me the way a Goddess looks down on a vexatious commoner.

"Wow, really? Yes, I would appreciate that!" I jumped with excitement and curiosity, and Alyssa tried to hide her giggle.

"Goodbye, my prince."

"By the way, it was fun! I was happy with our reunion, Charles, and what happened in the library today was very nostalgic; it reminded me of our younger days. I loved the thrills, except that this time I couldn't use you as a decoy." she said.

Hearing that made me smile.

She went back towards the Ice-Queen's palace, leaving me alone with my pent up sexual tension.

Going back to my room, I found the letter I left behind all torn to pieces, unfinished pizza on the bed which was all dried up, and a loud TV.

But, most important of all, Beth was sleeping on my bed with a revealing night-dress and probably no underwear.

[She looks so hot in it! I am regretting not taking up that chance I had earlier~]

I rubbed my hands together to warm them up and stared at her sleeping in the night-dress, seriously contemplating whether or not I should smash her.

[It's so cold though, only she can wear this dress in frosty temperatures.]

I turned off the TV, arranged the bed, and covered Beth with a cozy blanket and slept beside her, putting my arm around her cold body to give it some warmth~

I was walking through a tunnel in the midst of nowhere, lost in time and space. Just wandering through the darkness that surrounded me. All of the tunnel was dark and cold except for a tinge of purple light, far away in the forward direction. Naturally, I was walking towards the source of this light. I bent forward and covered my body with my arms, shivering throughout the short journey.

[Where am I? What am I doing here? I don't remember coming here. In fact, I don't remember anything before now! Am I dreaming?]

Unable to comprehend my current state and position, I was in a quandary. As I approached the end of the tunnel or perhaps the start of the tunnel, the sinister and strange voices became louder and louder.

[What is that voice? It somehow makes me really uncomfortable.]

Suddenly, a burst of incomprehensible roar blasted through the walls of the tunnel; coming from my forward direction. The force of the winds following the roar made the tunnel crack. My right eardrum blasted open, with blood gushing out through the eardrum. I screamed in agony: the stinging pain in my ear radiated to the entire right side of my head.

I tried to Augment my coagulation and healing-micro-system of my body but to no vain; I tried to augment the eardrum's tensile strength but again lead to failure. In desperation, I tried to Augment the endorphin receptors of my brain to make me feel less pain but that also failed.

[Wha is happening? For some reasoaahn my tic isn't working.]

[This cannot be a dream. The pain is so real! But my ti! Why? I don't Underst—aaahnd.]

"Malevo... Malevole..."

Another voice appeared from the shadows of the tunnel; this voice seemed different from the previous one. It was soft, high pitched, and that of a girl. Also, there seemed to materialize a figure as the voice became clearer.

"Malevolence."

A small creature appeared. It was ugly with many scars on its face. It had a female body, similar to that of a small child, around nine years of age. Her eyes were bruised, with worms crawling under her lower eyelids. She was malnourished, and her skin was extremely thin, making her bones very prominent. She seemed to carry something with her, perhaps a brown and torn teddy-bear.

[Wait! I know! She is a loli~]

"Who are you? And what is this place?!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"Thy blood reeks... thy blood reeks of MALEVOLENCE," she said.

"My blood what? Ohh, the bleeding from my ear? It suddenly happened when that loud voice erupted. Do you know where I can meet a doctor here?" I asked.

The moment I finished my question, she gave out a loud screech.

"Not thine... ear. Not thine ear! Thy entire body and blood reek of MALEVOLENCE. Thou art evil! Thou art evil! THOU ART EVIL. Removed from the very surface of this universe shalt be thine filthy soul, " she said.

[So this loli can speak some tough words, eh?]

I wasn't clearly able to hear, but I could understand that she was insulting me. Her insults made me angry, but more than that, it created a sense of incomprehensible guilt. I was not sure why I experienced those emotions, but I was frozen. Frozen with agony, pain, guilt, and hatred. It was as if I could feel the malevolence inside of me. No. It wasn't inside me. More like, it was inside of someone I would be? If that made any sense.

Within seconds of her finishing the insults, another burst of noise erupted through the depths of the tunnel. This time louder and even more sinister!

The voice made the loli panic, and she hurriedly spoke,

"Heed my words! Emperor of Universe."

[Emperor of Universe? What the heck is she talking about? I am not even a king, let alone an emperor, and that too of the Universe? Hey, just a low key prince here~]

"He seeks for thy soul. Fall not prey onto him. For, if thou shalt, then there shalt be no returning for thou nor for this world. Thou shalt destroy everything that is precious unto thee," she said.

Before I had a chance to ask her what the meaning of her words was, she ran. She passed by my side, in a hurry, and went towards the other end of the tunnel.

She disappeared in the darkness of the tunnel.

[Why was she in a hurry? Her face seemed terrified when she was running.]

As I was comprehending the meaning of her actions and words, it was too late, as the thundering roar was even louder and came from right above me. A shock of fear and horror traversed my spine as I heard this loud voice reverberating in my head. As I slowly looked up, I realized there was no longer a tunnel. I was amidst a vastly dark area, almost equivalent to the vacuum of space. The darkness of this vacuum was in contrast to the bright light emanating from the center of my field of vision.

That light was blinding. Slowly, slowly, it came closer and closer to where I was. And as it came closer, I could see the source getting bigger and bigger. It was a huge sphere of purple light.
