'Just like fire, burning out the way
If I can light up the world for just one day
Watch this madness, colorful charade
No one can be just like me any way.'

Hermione kisses Harry's, Ginny's and Ron's on their cheeks.

'I'm going to miss you all,' she whispered, holding back the tears.

Ginny almost jumped into Hermione's arms, 'We're going to miss you too...'

Hermione waved at them and they waved back, it had been awhile. And she had had a wonderful time in London, shopping with Ginny and renovating the house. The once scary house of the Black family was now turned into a warm home for the new Potter family. Because everyone just knew they would get small kids together, there was no other way. She had seen Teddy and the Weasley family, Molly had given her three cakes to share with her friends from Mystic Falls.

And she apparated to the room in the Gilbert house, she had received an invitation for the Mikaelson ball. And had promised Ginny to make a grand entrance. She pulled up her hair and put on the dress she had bought in a small boutique.

She apparated right in front of the door of the Mikaelson house, no one saw her because she was a bit late. On purpose, because it would only make the surprise bigger. And she had to make a grand entrance after all.

She walked inside and everyone went silent, staring at her. And she felt the same as she had felt in her fourth year of Hogwarts. Nervous but fantastic.

Niklaus stared at Hermione, he had missed her dearly. Kol stared at her too and whispered to Niklaus: 'That one will be mine.'

Niklaus growled, 'No way brother. She's not a possession.'

Kol looked surprised at his brothers words and decided it would be better to back down for awhile. His brother would mess up at his own eventually any way. Elena stared at her sister, she was back. And how... this was the perfect time to sneak away. Everyone would be distracted and she could see Esther without being noticed.

Niklaus walked towards Hermione, 'Can I have this dance?'

Hermione nodded and they began dancing on the dance floor, it felt good to dance.
'You're quite a dancer love.'

Hermione nodded, 'I had to learn it for a ball on our school.'

Niklaus nodded, 'Where have you been?'

Hermione answered looking down, 'London.'

Niklaus raised his eyebrows and Hermione continued, 'With my friends. They have a house in London.'

'I missed you, Hermione.'

Hermione's breath hitched and she blushed. She missed him too, but she didn't have the courage to say it out loud.

'I apologize for my actions and I heard from Rebekah how inconveniently she told you certain things. Rebekah isn't one to listen closely to my words, when I tell her about a girl I fancy. Her head turns it into a girl that wants a one night stand. However I would never say or think that of you.'

Hermione looked at Rebekah, who nodded glancing at Hermione. He was telling the truth. She blushed a deeper shade of red.
'Thank you.'

Niklaus smiled, 'My mother is back and my family is awake.'

Hermione was quite surprised, 'And your mother forgave you?'

He nodded, reminding himself of the fact she knew a lot of things. Information she called it. And he twirled her around.

Hermione bit her lip, 'I don't believe it.'

Niklaus frowned, 'What do you mean, love?'

Hermione considered her words carefully, 'I'm not saying you should kill her now. I am just saying that I do not trust her, don't let that influence your own choices.'

Suddenly the music stopped and Esther along with Niklaus's siblings stood on the staircase. In no time Niklaus was gone and stood next to his siblings, the speech began. But Hermione didn't bother to listen and she went outside, not waiting for the toast. She had been with her friends for awhile and after getting used to butterbeer, wine didn't taste as good.

She saw a bench at sat down, Niklaus appeared next to her after a few minutes.
'Are you cold, love?'

Hermione nodded and Niklaus took his jacket off, reaching it out to her. She accepted it, thanking him.

'Now love, what do you want to see of the world?'

Hermione smiled, 'Lots, everything except woods.'

Niklaus laughed, 'What's wrong with the woods?'

Hermione looked down at her hands, 'I'm just not so fond of camping... I've done it to many times... I just... I... I...'

Niklaus pulled her closer, 'Hey, it's okay. No camping.'

Hermione smiled sheepishly, 'It's... I've done an entire year of camping in the woods, hiding and hiking. I have kind of seen everything now.'

He nodded, 'But what is it you do want to see?'

She smiled, 'I don't know, but I think you know very well what to show me.'

'You want me to show you?'

She blushed, only now noticing her slip up.

'I'd love to,' he said, trying to help her.

'First, I'd have to show you London,' she responded.

He chuckled, 'You think I haven't already seen London?'

She raised one of her eyebrows, 'Not every part.'

He frowned, she was mysterious for sure.
