You and Dipper's Age: 16

~•~Your POV~•~

Detention.

Again.

Not for me, of course.

I'm talking about Dipper.

I don't know what it was, but it all started in the being of junior year. He just suddenly turned into a- bad boy. Well, it is kinda hot, but I want the old Dipper back.

The awkward,

Sweaty,

Nervous,

Nerdy,

Sweet boy.

But guess what he did to get detention?

He was in chemistry, and since he used to be a nerd, he exploded his project. All over the teacher. The poor teacher will have to live without eyebrows for a while now.

At the moment, I was walking to class with Mabel.

"Hey, Mabel? I have a question about Dipper?"

"Shoot."

"When did he start acting like this? You know, like a troublemaker?" I asked.

"Hmm..." Mabel thought for a moment, "I think it was... Oh! It was in the beginning of this year. Right after Dipper left your house from some partner project." Mabel said.

:::::FLASHBACK:::::

"Okay, so what should we do first on the project, (Y/n)... (Y/n)?" Dipper said, waving a hand in my face.

I shook my head slightly and looked at Dipper, "Oh, sorry. What did you say?"

Dipper sighed, "Alright, what's going on in that head of yours?"

I rolled my eyes at him, "Oh, just some girl stuff you wouldn't want to hear about."

"Is it like- girl problems, or..?"

"Ew, no. It's something that boys don't talk about."

Dipper, still looking confused, waited for me to continue. I rolled my eyes at him again, "I thinking about a boy, you happy?"

Dipper gave me a small look, "Depends, who's the boy?" He asked.

"You know that guy who where's the leather jacket, missed classes, and is super hilarious?" I asked dreamily.

"Jackson? The troublemaker?" Dipper asked.

"Yeah..." I sighed.

"What's so great about him?" Dipper asked, looking away from me.

"I don't know, it's just- it's just I have a thing for bad boys and troublemakers." I said, still spacing off.

Dipper looked back up at me quickly, "So, what your saying is, you like bad boys?"

"You could say that, why?" I asked, finally coming back to reality and facing Dipper.

He wasn't looking at me now, but he had a small smile on his face, "No reason."

:::::PRESENT:::::

"Oh god..." I mumbled.

"What?" Mabel asked.

"It was our conversation. It was about me liking bad boys..."

Mabel and I both looked at each other, then gasped and covered our mouths.

"DIPPER LIKES YOU!!"

"This is all my fault."

We both chorused, even if we said different things. We paused again.

"He changed because of- because of me?" I asked.

Mabel had a big grin on her face, as she squealed and jumped up and down with joy. I gave her a blank face, as I started to walk away from her.

"Hey, wait up! All I was doing was the '(Y/ship name) is confirmed' dance!" Mabel yelled, hearing her run after me.

::::::TIMESKIP:::::

Mabel and I were in study hall. But all I could think about was Dipper. About him changing, about that it was my fault for his behavior, everything.

"Look, Mabel. I got to talk to Dipper after school, but that means I have to get detention. Got any ideas?" I whispered to her.

The room was very crowded, with no teachers.

"Yeah, and count me in." Mabel smirked, as she pulled out her phone and small pig speaker.

She scrolled through her music playlist for some song. When she found it, she smiled. She first connected her phone to the speaker, putting it on maximum volume. The music started to play loudly, as everyone's eyes were on us. Mabel and I both looked at each other, nodding, as we both stood on the table.

(A/n: The parts Mabel is singing is in bold, while your parts are in italics)

"I hoped off the plane at LAX

With a dream and my cardigan

Welcome to the land of fame excess,

Whoa am I gonna fit in?

Jumped in the cab, here I am for the first time

Look to my right, and I see the Hollywood sign

This is all so crazy,

Everybody seems so famous

Oh

Oh oh

There's no place like home

Home

I'm boarding up the windows

Locking up my heart

It's like...

Nodding my head like yeah, Moving my hips like yeah

Every time he smiles I

Let him in again

Yeah! It's a Party in the USA

Here comes the sun, here comes the rain

Standing in the eye of the hurricane

Here comes the sun, here comes the rain

It's a Party in the USA~"

People start cheering for us and gathering around the table where Mabel and I are singing and dancing.

"~I'm flopping on my bed like a flying squirrel

Like a little girl hurt by the big bad world

Yeah, it's twisting up my insides

Can't hide it on the outside

Oh

Oh oh

Yeah, it hits me like

Oh

Oh no

My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda homesick

Too much pressure and I'm nervous
That's when the DJ dropped my favorite tune

And the Britney song was on

And the Britney song was on

And the Britney song was on~!

I'm boarding up the windows

Locking up my heart

It's like...

Nodding my head like yeah, Moving my hips like yeah

Every time he smiles I

Let him in again

Yeah! It's a Party in the USA

Here comes the sun, here comes the rain

Standing in the eye of the hurricane

Here comes the sun, here comes the rain

It's a Party in the USA~"

By now, the whole room of at least hundred kids were surrounding the table we were at. Mabel and I both had big smiles on our faces. I'm sure some teacher will be coming by soon...

"~He picks me up like

He's got the way of the hurricane

And I think I'm fine like

I'm in the eye of the hurricane

Feel like hoppin' on a flight, on a flight

Back to my hometown tonight, town tonight

Something stops me every time, every time

The DJ plays my song and I feel alright--!

He's got the way

He's got the way--!"

We both held out our last note together, making the crowd yell even louder.

"~I'm boarding up the windows

Locking up my heart

So I put my hands up, they're playin' my song

The butterflies fly away

It's like...

Nodding my head like yeah, Moving my hips like yeah

Every time he smiles I

Let him in again

Yeah! It's a party in the usa

Here comes the sun, here comes the rain

Standing in the eye of the hurricane

Here comes the sun, here comes the rain

Standing in the eye of the hurricane.

So I put my hands up, they're playin' my song (He picks me up like... )

The butterflies fly away (He's got the way of the hurricane.)

I'm noddin' my head like Yeah! (I think I'm fine like...)

Movin' my hips like Yeah! (I'm in the eye of the hurricane.)

Got my hands up, they're playin' my song (He picks me up like... )

And now I'm gonna be okay (He's got the way of the hurricane.)

Yeah! It's a party in the USA! (I think I'm fine like...)

Yeah! It's a party in the USA! (I'm in the eye of the hurricane.)

Oooh ooh ooh

Oooh ooh ooh."

As the song died done, everyone cheered for us. Mabel and I linked arms together and bowed to them, both of us laughing. But then, the crowd went silent, worried looks on their faces. I knew immediately why.

Mabel and I slowly turned around, to see the principal at the door. He had his arms crossed, an angry look on his face, while he stomped on of his feet repeatedly on the ground.

"Um, good afternoon, Mr. Seamore..." I said, putting on a worried smile, as well as Mabel.

"You two! Detention after school!" He yelled, "And just wait until I call your parents! And get off that table!" Mr. Seamore said, as he left the room swiftly.

"Oh shit, I didn't want my parents to know about this..." I mumbled to Mabel.

Mabel placed her hand on my shoulder, "Don't worry, it'll all be worth it when you get the chance to talk to Dipper." Mabel said.

"Yeah, you're right, Mabel." I said.

"I'm always right." Mabel smiled, as she hoped off the table, as I laughed at her and hoped off the table too.

:::::TIMESKIP:::::

As Mabel and I entered the detention room, I saw Dipper sitting in the back. He had his feet propped up on the desk, while leaning back in his chair, his arms behind his head. Their were a few other kids in the room, but they were all sitting in the front, probably too scared to sit in the back with Dipper.

The tecaher at his desk was already asleep, so that's the only good news so far. I motioned to Mabel to sit in the front, as I make my way towards the back. Dipper didn't notice me yet, since he had his eyes closed. When I reached to the empty desk next to Dipper, I sat down.

The kids in the front were giving me worried looks and motioning e to get away from him, but I ignored them. To get Dipper's attention, I swung my feet up onto his desk, kicking his feet off of the desk. This made him jerk forward. Angry went onto his face.

He looked over at me, and I just smirked at him.

"How've ya been, Dip? Haven't seen you in a while." I said, looking at my nails, pretending to be tough.

His face expression softened when he landed eyes on me. His angry was changed to confusion.

"(Y/n)? What are you doing here?" He asked, starting to sit up straight and fix his jacket.

"Oh, you know. Causing trouble and all." I simply said, looking at him again.

The look on his face made my heart speed up. He looked like he was his normal self again, but then he cleared his throat, and looked away.

"There must be a reason you came here, because you're too much of a goody-goody to be here." He said, propping his feet on his desk again, knocking off mine.

I glared at him slightly, "Look, I just came here to ask a question, okay?"

"I don't do questions." He said.

"Well, I wasn't asking you." I said. He looked at me again with a confused face. I sighed annoyingly, "I was asking the real Dipper."

"You're looking at him, sweetheart." He said.

I glared at him, getting more and more angry and upset, "Don't be an asshole. I want to talk to the real Dipper, not this douchebag."

"Didn't your mother tell you not to curse?" Dipper asked, "Or a mater of fact, act like a cuss?"

I didn't answer, only standing up. I walked up to his desk and slammed my fist onto it. It did took him by surprise, because he jolted upwards and the kids in the front turned around towards us, even Mabel.

"Look, you stubborned little piece of shit, I am done with your fucking bull crap!" I said, "Tell the real Dipper that I don't like this bad boy at all! Tell him that he needs to get rid of this bad boy act, right away! Tell him that I miss him, no, tell him I'd do anything to see him again! Tell him that I loved him the way he was! Not as this jackass!"

By the time I finished yelling at him, a few tears escaped my eyes and rolled down my face. I was shaking slightly, I'll admit it. Dipper looked stunned at my sudden outburst. He looked like he was lost in words. Everyone else in the room was silent, staring at us. I was still up and Dipper's face, glaring intensely at him, breathing quickly.

Finally, I stepped away from him, and headed out of the room. The teacher was still asleep —surprisingly — so I can make my escape.

"(Y/n)!" I heard Dipper call out from behind me.

I ignored him, as I wiped the tears off my face and jogged out of the room.

:::::TIMESKIP:::::

I stayed home from school the next day. I knew Dipper would try to talk to me, but I don't want to talk to him. I was laying on my back on my bed. I was staring up at the ceiling, processing on what had happened yesterday, I blurted out to him.

Tell him that I loved him the way he was!

Did I really say that to him? I groaned in frustration, as I picked up my pillow and slammed it against my face. I heard a knock on my door, but I ignored it. There was a knock again.

"Go away!" I mumbled into the pillow, loud enough to be heard.

The door opened anyway. I heard footsteps walk over to the side of my bed, and then the person sat down.

"I said, go awa-" As I ripped the pillow off my face, I froze.

Dipper looked at me, sadness on his face. I finally sat up from the bed, not making eye contact.

"(Y/n)-"

"I don't wanna talk to you." I mumbled.

"(Y/n), I know I was a jackass before, and I'm sorry." Dipper said, "I just- the reason I changed was because of you."

"Yeah, I think I kinda figured that out already." I snapped, "Dipper, why didn't you just tell me how you felt about me?"

"I- I don't know. I was an idiot. I thought you would have liked me better if I changed to something you liked. When you were talking about that Jackson guy I just... I felt jealous, that you liked him and not... Me." Dipper said.

I starred at him, not saying a word. My eyes dropped down to my lap, while my fingers fidgeted around. I looked back up at Dipper. He wasn't looking at me now, he was looking at the ground. Finally, I moved closer to him and hugged him.

"Dipper, you should have just told me. I love you just the way you are. You're dorky, awkward, nerdy self. You don't need to change yourself for a girl, you know." I said.

I felt him slowly hug me back, "I know."

We stayed like that for awhile. Finally, I pulled back from the hug. I placed a kiss on his soft lips slowly. When I pulled back, his face was apple red. I laughed slightly, and laid back down on my bed, bringing him with me.

"Love you, Dipper." I sighed, as I hugged him again, wrapping my arms around his torso.

"I love you too, (Y/n)." Dipper said, hugging me back.

And for the rest of the day, we both stayed on the bed cuddling and sleeping with each other.

:::::BONUS:::::

~•~3rd POV~•~

When Mabel left school that day, she went over to your house to see how you were. When she came into your room, she saw you and Dipper sleeping together, cuddling with each other.

A big smile came across her face and she fangirled silently, while she took at least a million pictures of the two of you.

"Hahaha, blackmail." Mabel whispered to herself.
