You and Dipper's Age: 18

~•~3rd POV~•~

You slowly walked down the sidewalk, your hands in your pockets. It was the first time you were out of your house in a very long time. But there was a reason to why. Every night you'd cry yourself to sleep, thinking about that terrible day, the terrible day that ruined your life. You'll never be the same.

You walked onto a lawn. It was a cloudy, cold day. You sighed with sadness as you reached your destination. You stared at the stone in front of you, feeling tears form in your eyes.

'Here lies

Dipper Pines

A loving brother, son, best friend'

:::::MEMORY:::::

"Dipper?!" Mabel called out. "Dipper, where are you?!" You yelled. You two were searching through the forest. It's been over a few hours since Dipper went on a monster hunt. "I'm really worried, Mabel." You said. "I'm sure he's fine." She said. After walking for a little longer, you spotted something up against a tree. "Mabel! Over there!" You yelled, running towards it. You heard Mabel run after me. Once you came into view who it was, you froze, your heart dropping. There he was, laying motionlessly against the tree. You let out a petrified scream, running over to him and bending down next to him. You heard Mabel stop running. You heard her sob loudly. You grabbed Dipper's lifeless body and hugged it tightly. "N-no! T-this can't b-be happening!" You yelled. You heard Mabel walk over to you, bending down next to you. You both hugged him, still crying. "I never got the chance to tell you that- I love you Dipper." You mumbled, tears streaming down your face.

:::::PRESENT TIME:::::

A few tears rolled down your cheeks. You never did get the chance to tell him you loved him. You pulled a picture out of your jacket. It was a picture of you and Dipper. You both hugged each other, making funny faces at the camera. Tears now streamed down your face, quietly sobbing to yourself. You hugged the picture tightly.

Then you looked at your hand. There was a (F/c) plastic kitty ring on your finger, the ring Dipper gave to you after a bad day you had. You sobbed more as you stared at the ring.   You missed him so much. When you found him died, half of the you died on the inside as well. You were devastated. But you knew you had to move on. You couldn't keep loving a person who is dead all your life.

You raised the ring towards your face, planting a small kiss on it, doing the same thing to the picture. Slowly, you placed the picture in front of the grave. Then you looked at the ring again. More tears streamed down your face, as your shaky hands slowly gripped the ring. Very slowly, you slid the ring off your finger. You covered your mouth with your free hand, still sobbing.

You placed the ring beside the picture. A few moments later, you fell you your knees. You covered you face with your hands and cried loudly, not caring if anyone heard you. You just let it all out, all the tears you fought back. You thought that you would never stop crying. But it was time to let Dipper go, let him be free. You stood back up, sniffling and rubbing your nose and eyes with your sleeve.

"Goodbye, Sir Dipping Sauce. I'll never forget you." You said, choking on some tears.

A moment later, you felt someone place a hand on your shoulder. You spun around, frightened a little.

But no one was there.

Could have been a draft of wind. You still cried, but less now.

"See you soon, Dip." You said, starting to walk out of the small Gravity Falls cemetery.

You pulled your phone out and looked into your photo gallery. You scrolled through pictures of you and Dipper, Dipper and Mabel, the three of you, or just pictures of Dipper when he wasn't looking. You smiled a little and laughed slightly, remembering how mad he would get whenever he show those unexpected photos of him.
