Racheal and Dipper's Age: 12
~•~Racheal POV~•~

Great.
Another test I failed this year.
I groaned in frustration and flipped over the test, so no one could see it. It's not that I'm bad at math, I just have trouble understanding it. The bell finally rang and I headed out of the class.
"Hey Rach!" Someone called from behind me.
I turned around. I saw my friend, Dipper, walk up to me. I smiled at him.
"Hey Dip, what's up?" I asked.
"What did you get on your math test?" Dipper asked.
"Sixty-three." I sighed.
"Yikes." Dipper said.
"I know. I don't understand any of these volumes. I did ask if I can redo the test, which she said yes, but I'm not sure how I can learn all the volumes in one day." I said.
"I-I could help you, like, tutor you." Dipper suggested, rubbing the back of his neck.
"Really? You'd do that for me?" I asked.
"Yeah, anything for a friend." Dipper said.
Friend.
That word.
I don't like it.
"Thanks! Can I come over to your house at the end of the day?" I asked, once we reached my next class.
"Uh, yes." Dipper said.
"Cool, see you then!" I smiled, walking into my class.
:::::TIMESKIP:::::
"Ok, so the formula for a cylinder is 'V' equals pie 'R' two, times 'H'." Dipper said, "Now write out what 'R' and 'H' is."
I nodded and started to write the equation.
"Would 'R' be ten point twenty four and 'H' be thirteen?" I asked, looking up at Dipper.
"Correct! See, you're great at math." Dipper said, looking up at me too, making us face to face.
"I haven't solved the problem yet, Dipper. I only got the equation." I giggled.
Dipper blushed and looked back down at the paper, "I-I know. I meant so far."
I rolled my eyes playfully and looked down at my paper.
"So, do you know what to do know?" Dipper asked.
"Yeah," I said as I picked up my calculator, "I have to put pie parentheses ten point twenty four, then parentheses thirteen, right?"
"Yup. And what will the answer be?" Dipper asked.
"It'll be," I calculated the numbers into my calculator, "Uh, it's too long to say the number."
"Then wrote it down."
I nodded and wrote down the number '418.208814...'
"Now what will the answer be if it is rounded to the nearest tenth?"
I tapped my pencil repeatedly on my chin, thinking, then I wrote down the answer.
"The volume would equal four hundred eighteen point two centimeters cubed!" I said.
"Yes! You got it!" Dipper smiled.
"I did it! I understand! I can do math now! Whoop whoop!" I cheered, dancing in place.
Dipper laughed next to me while I did a goofy dance.
"Thank you, Dipper." I smiled, hugging him from the side.
His face went all red, "N-no problem."
:::::TIMESKIP:::::
I ran towards the awkward boy who was talking to his friends in the hallway of school. I squealed as I hugged him, definitely taking him by surprise. I heard his friends snicker as I was hugging. I let go of Dipper and gave him a huge smile.
"Thank you, thank you, thank you!" I yelled, jumping up and down.
"For what?" Dipper asked, laughing slightly.
I held out my test I had in my hands. His eyes widened as he saw the grade.
"You got a hundred?!" Dipper asked.
"I know right?!" I squealed.
I started to do my goofy dance again as Dipper laughed at me. When I stopped, we both stared at each other. I gave him a big kiss on the cheek. His eyes looked like saucers and his face was red as a tomato. I giggled.
"I couldn't have done it without you, Dip." I smiled.
He still had wide eyes and a red face, but he smiled at me.
"Hey, I gotta go. See you later!" I said, starting to walk off, leaving a still shocked Dipper behind me.
