You and Dipper's Age: You will always be three years older then Dipper

~•~Your POV~•~

Dip: 14 You: 17

Wendy brought me to the Mystery Shack with her today cause she says that she gets bored there sometimes. I'm like her best friend, so I agreed. But I kinda didn't want to go either. It's just that her bosses great nephew is in love with me. He always stares and drools over me, gets nervous and sweaty around me, and he does that thing when he whispers stuff under his breath after he says something dorky.

I sat on the stool next to the counter where Wendy sat. We were having a small conversation about the lumberjack tournament she won, when I noticed Dipper 'working'. And when I mean 'working', I mean staring at me and not doing his work. I don't say anything to him about me feeling a little uncomfortable about this, so I just play it cool. I turned my body around facing Dipper.

"Sup dork." I said, smiling.

He almost dropped his broom as his face went red. He gave a small smile and a small wave, pretending to work.

"Whatcha looking at?" I asked him.

His eyes widened a little.

"Uh-Uh, n-nothing. I-I was staring at nothing." He said, his voice cracking a little.

Wendy and I both chucked as I looked back at Wendy. She gave me a half smile and shrugged a little. I sighed and looked back at Dipper, who was still looking at me.

"Dipper, can I talk with you for a sec?" I asked.

His face turned even more red, but he nodded. I got off the stool and walked over to the door. I motioned Dipper to follow. He dropped his broom and quickly followed. As we both stepped outside, I closed the door and sat down on the step. Dipper slowly sat down next to me.

"Look Dipper, I know you like me." I said.
"Wha-What? H-how do you know?" He asked.

I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Well, aren't you always staring at me? Also, it's not like I can't hear the stuff you whisper under your breath." I said, laughing a little.

He blushed and smacked his forehead.

"I'm such an idiot." He mumbled.

I chuckled a little.

"Dude, it's fine. But you know I'm too old for you, right?" I asked.
"Yeah, I know." Dipper sighed.

We were quiet after.

"I hope this won't make us awkward after." I said.
"No, it won't. I actually kinda feel more confident around you now." He said, chuckling a little.
"I'm glad to hear that." I said, pushing down his PineTree hat, "And by the way, maybe if you were older, I might consider dating you."

His face flushed and smiled a little. I smiled at him and went back in the Shack. But before I went inside, I heard him whisper to himself:

"I'll wait for you."

"Stop making me laugh! I'm going to pee myself!" I yelled.

I playfully pushed Dipper and laughed more. We were at the Gravity Falls movie theater. We were making fun of the stupid movie that was playing. I mean, what kind of movie is called 'Widdlest Vampire'? Sounds like the get-up gay man-baby that lives in a tent here. Some people from the crowd kept shushing us, but we ignored them.

"I should be a comedian then." Dipper said.

I chuckled a little bit more, then sighed. I looked over at Dipper, who was staring at me. When Dipper was younger, he used to be this awkward, nerdy, noodle armed boy. But he turned 18 a few weeks ago. He's changed- a lot. Puberty hit him right in the face, then a couple of more times.

He's much taller then me now, he's more muscular, and his appearance changed a little. But he still had the same attitude, cute, messed up, dark brown hair, and his playfully brown eyes. He also seemed more- charming. I might actually like him now. I think it's ok to like him now since we're older, right? The movie ended and we headed out of the theater. When we stepped outside, we saw that it was raining.

"Oh crap. I knew it would might rain, so I only brought one umbrella." I said, showing Dipper my (F/c) umbrella.
"I guess we'll just have to share it then." Dipper said.

Dipper took the umbrella from me and opened it. He put it over our heads as he pulled me closer to him by the waist. My face went red as we started to walk. The walk was silent for a while. We eventually got to my house and we were walking up the small sidewalk, but he stopped me.

"Hey, um, can I tell you something." Dipper asked.

I turned around to face him. He looked nervous and he was blushing.

"Yeah dude, what is it?" I asked.

He stepped a little closer to me, making me blush slightly.

"Look, remember when I was like fourteen and you were seventeen?" He asked.
"Yeah?" I said.
"And we had that conversation outside of the shack." He asked.

I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Um, where are you going with this Dipper?" I asked.
"You told me that if I was older, you could consider dating me." He said.

My face flushed when I realized what he was talking about.

"And I said something after you left." He said, blushing a little.
"What did you say?" I asked.

He grabbed both my hands, making me drop the umbrella, and leaned closer to my face. By then my face was as red as a tomato.

"I said, I'll wait for you." He whispered, "And I did."

Before I could answer, he smashed his lips onto mine, as I kissed back. We stood there, while it was still raining, kissing. Man, who knew he was a good kisser right? When he pulled back from the kiss, we stared at each other. A smile grew on his face.

"I felt you kiss back." He said.

I blushed a little.

"Yeah well..." I said.

He grabbed both my hands and held them.

"(Y/n), will you be my girlfriend?" He asked sweetly.

I couldn't help but giggle a little.

"Of course ya dork." I said, poking him in the chest and walking towards the house with him behind me.
