Whoop whoop! Special one-shot since it's my 50th!

You and Dipper's Age: 15

~•~Your POV~•~

I ran up the small sand hill to the little home I live in. I ran up the steps and knocked on the door. A boy opened it and smiled at me. He had curly black hair, a red shirt with a yellow star on it, blue pants, and sandals.

Steven Universe,

My younger brother.

My mother, Rose, actually found me when I was a baby gem in the Kindergarten and took me in as her child. So, yes, I did get to meet my mother. She was amazing. I still feel terrible for Steven that he never met her, since she had to give up her physical form for him. And that was really hard for me since I was only like three. Imagine, waking up the next morning and your mother is nowhere to be seen and this baby boy appears out of nowhere?

"(Y/n)! Where've ya been!?" Steven asked, stopping my train of thought.

"I was exploring." I said, stepping inside the house.

"Oh, okay. Garnet, Pearl, and Amyethst said they needed to go somewhere. So I guess that means your in charge." Steven said, hoping on the couch.

"Did they say where they were going?" I asked, sitting down on a stool by the small counter.

"Somewhere called, 'Gravity Falls'?" Steven said.

"Hm... Did they take the warp pad?" I asked.

"Umhmm." Steven nodded, rocking back and forth on the couch.

A small smirk grew on my face.

"I say we should go and pay a little visit to this 'Gravity Falls' place." I said, hoping off the stool and walking over to the warp pad.

"Uh, I don't think that's a good idea." Steven said, hoping off the couch over to me.

"Ah come on! It'll be fun!" I said, jumping on the warp pad.

"What if something happens to us?" Steven asked.

"First of all, we're gems. You've got your pink bubble and shield, and I've got my (F/c) flaming sword. Second, if something does happen to us, won't Garnet, Pearl, and Amyethst be in the same world as us?" I said.

"Um, ok, I guess." Steven said, stepping on the warp pad next to me.

I smiled at him as I warped us. We ended up in the middle of a forest. I stepped off the warp pad and started to walk. I heard Steven walk after me. Once he got next to me, he grabbed onto my shirt sleeve. I chuckled a bit.

"Are you scared?" I asked.

"No, I-I'm just a little nervous." He said.

After walking for a little, I heard two kids yell. I darted my head around the forest and so did Steven.

"Did you hear that?" I asked.

"It sounded like a boy and a girl yelling." Steven said.

"Well come on! They could be in trouble!" I said, starting to run towards the yelling and now the sounds of a familiar monster.

"Hey! Wait up!" Steven called after me.

~•~Dipper POV~•~

Mabel and I backed up against a tree. A creature I have never seen before, or in the journal, slowly walked, or crawled, towards us.

"Dipper what do we do?!" Mabel yelled.
"I-I don't know! I've never seen this thing before!" I yelled back.

Every time it made some sort of sound at us, we both yelled. We both hugged each other and shut our eyes. I started to hear footsteps running over to us.

"Steven! Go protect those kids with your bubble!" Someone yelled.

"Ok!" Someone else yelled.

Footsteps came running over to us. I still had my eyes shut, but then the noises around us started to sound all mumbly. I opened my eyes and saw that Mabel and I were trapped in a pink bubble, with a boy who was younger then us.

"Wha-what's going on?" I asked.

"Oh, um, it's a long story. First off, that monster that was attacking you was a mutant gem. But don't worry, my sister is fighting it off right now." The boy said.

I looked out through the bubble and saw a girl with a flaming sword fighting the 'mutant gem'. It was hard to see through the bubble because everything looked pink on the outside, but I could see that she had (H/l) hair up in a tight ponytail (if you have short hair then it was just done with a headband). She looked like me and Mabel's age. She wore a what looked like a comfy warrior outfit. I watched as she either swinged, stabbed, blocked, or ducked as she fought the monster.

"What's your name?" Mabel asked the young boy.

"My names Steven, and my sisters name is (Y/n)." The boy said.

I looked back at (Y/n). She did look really pretty, and I couldn't stop staring at her. But then I saw the mutant gem swing its arm at her, hitting her and making her fly back. Her back smashed against a tree and she fell to the ground.

"(Y/n)!" Steven yelled.

The bubble around us disappeared and Steven ran over to (Y/n), who still lied on the ground. Her (F/c) flaming sword was laying on the ground next to her. I saw the monster start walking towards Steven and (Y/n). So I did the must stupidest and bravest thing I've ever done before;

I ran over to them, grabbed the sword, and blocked the monster right on time before it could even lay a finger on (Y/n) and Steven.

With all my force, I pushed the mutant gem back, making it fall over. I took this chance to finish off the monster. I jumped up in the air and landed on top of the monster, stabbing the sword right through it. It screeched in pain, but then there was a 'pop'. All that was left of the mutant gem was an actual green gem laying on the ground. Steven got up and put a bubble around the gem, then tapping the bubble making it disappear. He turned to me and gave me a small smile which I returned.

"Over there guys!" I heard someone yell.

I turned around and saw three people running over to us.

"Steven?! What on earth are you doing here?!" The one that looked like a bird said.

She looked at (Y/n) and gasped.

"And what happened to (Y/n)?!" She yelled, kneeling down next to her and Steven.

"Relax Pearl, (Y/n) will be alright. At least that's what my future vision says." The tallest one said.

"Whoa, what happened over here? Was there like a freak tornado or something?" The purple one said.

"No, it was a mutant gem." Steven said.

"Hi, I'm Mabel, quick question- WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE?!" Mabel yelled.

The four of them looked at me and Mabel. Pearl looked at the sword I was still holding and her eyes widened.

"Why do you have (Y/n)'s sword?" She asked.

I blinked at her and looked down at the sword.

"Um, I-it's a long story... Here, you can take it back." I said, handing it over.

She didn't grab it though. She looked at the sword, up at me, then at the sword again.

"I-I don't understand... Once a gem drops their weapon it disappears. How- How were you able to pick it up..?" Pearl mumbled.

(Y/n) groaned a little and turned her body facing the four of them.

~•~Your POV~•~

I fluttered my eyes open. I saw Steven, Garnet, Pearl, and Amyethst looking down at me. Steven gasped and smiled as he hugged me.

"Wha-What happened?"  I asked.

"Mutant Gem." Steven said, still hugging me.

"Did I get knocked out- again?" I mumbled angrily.

Steven let go of me and nodded.

"I'm never going to be a real gem, aren't I." I said, hugging myself.

"Don't say that (Y/n), of course you are!" Steven said.

"You just need some more practice." Garnet said.

"Yes. But I think we should go back to that Shack." Pearl said.

"Back to old Fordster!" Amyethst said.

"Wait, did you say Shack?" The boy asked.

"Fordster?" The girl said.

Pearl looked at the kids.

"Yes, his name isn't Fordster though, it's Stanford, and he lives at this place called the 'Mystery Shack'." Pearl said.

"Wait a minute... That's where we live!" The girl said, motioning herself and the boy.

"Really?" Pearl asked.

"Of course they do, Pearl. Weren't you listening to Fordster talking about them early? Their names are Dipper and Mabel Pines." Amyethst said.

"Wow Amythest, you were actually listening for once?" I asked.

She stuck her tongue out at me and I laughed a little.

"Um, if she's hurt, we can help her back at the Shack. We have a first aid kit there." Dipper said.

I noticed that he was holding my sword. I slowly stood up, a little help from Steven, and walked over to him. He looked nervous when I got closer to him. We stood there for a second in front of each other.

"Can I have my sword back?" I asked, rasing my hand out.

"Uh-y-yeah... yes. Here." He said, holding out the sword.

Slowly, I took it from, still staring at him.

"Well come on, lets get back to the Shack, all of us, I guess." Mabel said, starting to walk away.

Garnet, Pearl, Amythest, and Steven followed her. Dipper and I stayed behind.

"So, what is a 'gem' anyways?" Dipper asked, both of us starting to walk.

"Well, we're crystal gems. We are a movement of Gems, unlike the rest of our kind, we seek to protect the Earth instead of exploiting it and are the self-proclaimed guardians of humanity." I said, "The three gems you saw before, Garent, Pearl, and Amythest, were here before Steven and I. Garnet and Pearl are Homeworld gems. They came from where all of the gems were made. But as for Amythest and I, we were made in the Kindergarten, on planet Earth."

Dipper nodded while I spoke.

"Where was Steven made?" He asked.

I went quiet for a second.

"Mine and Steven's mother, Rose Quartz, our former leader of our group, gave up her physical form to give birth to him." I said sadly, "She technically isn't really my 'mom', but she's the one who found me in the Kindergarten. She took me in and called me as here own."

"Oh." Was all Dipper could say.

We were quiet as we contuined walking.

:::::TIMESKIP:::::

~•~Still Your POV~•~

Once we reached the Shack, Pearl, Garnet, and Amythest stayed outside to talk to Stanford. Dipper and Mabel led me and Steven in the Shack into their room.

"Hey Steven, this is your chance to try to use your healing powers because my arm may or may not be broken." I said as we reached their room.

"Do you think it'll work?" Steven asked.

"It's worth a shot." I said.

"Wait, did you say healing powers?" Dipper asked.

"Yes, yes I did." I said.

(In cause some of you guys don't know, Steven has to use his salvia to heal people and sometimes it doesn't work)

We were all sitting on the floor. Steven looked a little nervous, but then finally he licked his hand and put it on my arm. It was gross at first and I tensed up a bit, but then I got used to it. Dipper and Mabel made a weird face when Steven did this. And I don't blame them. After a few minutes of waiting, the pain in my arm started to disappeared. I smiled at Steven, who started to get excited to his accomplishment.

"Yes! I did it!" He yelled as I laughed.

"Good work little bro. Now you can tell everyone about this later." I said, analyzing my arm, moving it around.

"Dad is going to be soooo proud of me!" Steven said.

"Does his salvia have healing powers?" Dipper asked.

"Ew!" Mabel said, but laughed.

"I think it's cute, I guess." I laughed, "You know, because it's different."

"You know what else is cute?" Mabel asked, a devilish smile coming across her face.

"What?" Me and Steven chorused.

"Dippers lamby-lamb dance." She smirked, looking at Dipper.

His face went red with embarrassment as he gave Mabel an angry look.

"Now is not the time to talk about the lamby-lamb dance!" He mumbled.

"I did a dance too!" Steven said.

"What was it?" Mabel asked.

"Oh god no." I said, putting my hand against my forehead.

"Well, during a performance at Beach City, I sang a song that my friend Sadie was supposed to sing." Steven said proudly.

"What was the song?" Dipper asked.

"Here we go again." I sighed.

Steven smiled and stood up.

"I can't help it if I make a scene,

Stepping out of my hot pink limousine

I'm turning heads and I'm stopping traffic,

When I pose, they scream and when I joke, they laugh

I've got a pair of eyes that they're getting lost in,

They're hypnotized by my way of walking,

I've got them dazzled like a stage magician,

When I point, they look, and when I talk, they listen, well,

Everybody needs a friend,

And I got you(points at me) and you(points at Dipper) and you(points at Mabel)

So many, I can't even name them,

Can you blame me? I'm too famous.~"

Steven points at me again, waiting for me to sing the rest.

"Come on, I know you know want to!" Steven smiled.

I smiled a little and sighed.

"~Haven't you noticed that I'm a star?

I'm coming into view as the world is turning.

Haven't you noticed I've made it this far?

Now, everyone can see me burning.

Mabel clapped and Dipper just stared at me. Mabel looked at him and pushed him playfully.

"Oh! Someones staring at someone~" She said in a sing-songy way(<---is that even a word?😂)

His face went red and he looked away.

"I-I wasn't! Shut up!" He said.

I heard Steven laugh next to me.

"It's fine, I don't mind, it just makes me think of my mom." I said.

"...How?" Dipper asked.

"My father was a human and my mother was a gem. My father fell in love with my mother the day he laid eyes on her." I said, "You also remind me of my father."

Mabel started to laugh like crazy and Dipper's face went even more red.

"W-what? W-who said that I-I like you I-I just m-met you." He stuttered.

"But I never said anything about you liking me, did I?" I smirked.

He opened his mouth to say something, but then he just closed it, not saying anything.

:::::TIMESKIP::::

"Steven and I had fun, thanks." I said to Dipper and Mabel.

"No probblameo, you guys can hangout with us anytime!" Mabel said.

Dipper nodded.

"Come on, (Y/n)!" Steven yelled from the warp pad with Garnet, Pearl, and Amythest.

"You guys go without me, I'll meet you guys back at the house!" I shouted back.

Steven smiled and nodded. He gave one last wave to Dipper and Mabel, then he warped himself and the rest of the gems. I looked back at Dipper and Mabel. Dipper was staring at me, again, as Mabel was giggling, looking at him.

"Dip, you are such a creep." Mabel laughed.

Dippers face went red and he looked away from me. I think he's kinda- cute. I mean, it's not a bad thing that he might like me. And I know he definitely likes me, I can see it in his eyes. But still, it does make me think about mom and dad. It also makes me think too- could, maybe, me and Dipper be the future Greg and Rose?

"I'll leave you two alone. See you later, (Y/n)!" Mabel said, walking away.

It was quiet after Mabel left.

"Hey, um, if you'd like, maybe we could go out some time?" I asked.

"W-wait, are you serious?!" He asked, his voice cracking a little.

I giggled.

"Yeah, I think it could be fun." I said, "What do you say?"

"Yes... Yes! Definitely!" He said, which made me giggle again.

"Cool. I'm going to head back now, but first, do you have a pen?"

"Um, yeah, why?" He asked as he pulled a pen out.

I grabbed the pen then his hand, which made him blush, and wrote done the home line to our house.

"I just wanna write down my number. Anyways, see you soon, Dip." I smiled, starting to walk off.

"Wait, there's something I need to do before you go." Dipper said.

As I turned around and gave him a funny, confused look, he smashed his lips on to mine. Slowly, he put his arms around my waist as I kissed back.

Because I think I just found my Greg.
