^^^Song I'm currently obsessing over: Heathens/ Twenty-Øne Pilots (I'm like in love with this song imma marry it)

Also, since me and my dad are SUPER excited about the movie Suicide Squad, I had to show him this song — since it'll be in it and it's fucking TØP — but when I did he asked me "Is that a girl singing?" And I just flipped out on him like "BISH THAT AIN'T A GIRL SINGIN!"😂👍🏼

So this has been requested for awhile now but I just never got the chance to write it yet... Oopsies. I'm not gonna say what it is, but you'll find out once you read the story... And it'll be pretty obvious too. Enjoy!

You and Dipper's Age: 15

~•~3rd POV~•~

You were walking in the forest, your shot gun strapped to your back, and your pocket knife in your back pocket. If you were wondering, yes, you're a hunter. Your father is also a hunts man, so he has sent you out to fetch him a deer. You really hated hunting for your father, but gods knows what he'll do to you if you refused.

You were walking along the the dirt path, your head down. You were repeatedly kicking a small pebble along the path, since you were bored. You sighed, as you adjusted your bag that was over your shoulder, then shoved your hands into your shinny jean pockets.

The only reason why you liked going out hunting is because it was peaceful in the woods. It was far away from all the drama in the town, or even at home. Sometimes you'd meet small or big friendly creatures, or even just read, draw, or rest under the tall trees.

As you continued to walk, thinking to yourself, you heard a twig snap from next to you. You sharply turned your head towards the noise, stopping in your tracks. Slowly, you unstrapped your shot gun from your back, and slowly pulled it out in front of you, arming yourself, just in case.

Bushes started to rustle from the distance, coming towards you. You slowly walked forward, getting your gun ready, raising it upwards towards your face, as you looked through the small eye slot, aiming the gun at the bush.

Finally, you see a creature quickly stalk towards you, not looking like a friendly creature at all. You shot your gun, but the creature quickly jerked out of the way to the left. You shot again, but missed a second time.

"Damnit!" You yelled, starting to panic.

As you were trying to quickly reload your gun, the creature appeared in front of you, growling, then smacked your gun out of your hands with its front paw. Your eyes widened and you quickly backed away from it.

This is it. This is how I die. This is what I get for being a hunter. Thanks dad! I appreciate it!

But what you didn't expect, was for the creature to sit down, laughing at you.

Wait, laughing?!

"You really thought I was going to kill you, didn't you?!" The creature laughed, using its paw to cover its face as it laughed more.

Finally getting a good glimpse of the creature, you saw that it was a wolf with fire red fur. It's eyes were a crystal blue, and some parts of her fur were a light shade of blue.

"Y-You... You can talk?!" You asked, staring at the wolf.

"No shit, Sherlock." The wolf said, starting to calm down slightly.

The wolf stood up again, and started to walk towards you. You took a step back again from it. The wolf stopped in its tracks, looking puzzled.

"Seriously, I'm not going to hurt you. I need your help." The wolf said, now acting serious.

You didn't answer, still suspicious with the wolf. The wolf rolled it's eyes at you, "You can trust me. My names Gianna and I'm around fifteen years old, now come on! I really need your help!" The wolf-girl pleaded.

You were still silent, but you slowly nodded at her. A sharp smile spread across the wolf-girls face, as she started to sprint back in the forest, "Well let's go then! We have no time to waste!"

Quickly, you started to run after her, "W-Why do you need my help anyway?!"

"I was hanging out with my best friend in the forest, and then he got caught in one of your traps! I couldn't get him out so I went to get help, and that's when I found you! Now hurry!" Gianna said, sprinting faster.

You weren't all that fast runner, heck, you never run, but if there's some sort of animal that's in trouble, you'd go and rescue it. Running through branches, almost tripping over stomps, and choking on bugs that hit your face later, the wolf had finally stopped running and now was next to an animal. You slowed down, trying to catch your breath. Finally, you looked at the animal to get a better glimpse of it.

It was a half deer half-- boy? The torso and up was the part boy, and the waist down was the deer, but on top of the boys head was antlers and deer ears. When he saw me, his deer ears went backed and his face paled. He tried scooting away, but his deer ankle was suck in a steel jawed leg-hold trap. Ouch, the poor boy. His back right deer ankle was stuck in the sharp jawed teeth of the leg-hold trap, and there was a lot of blood. You gasped quietly, before you started to walk towards him. He panicked again and tried move away, but it only made the pain worse as he yelped.

"Dude, stop moving! She's here to help you!" Gianna said, trying to calm him down.

He kept on looking at something that was behind you. When you finally turned your head slightly, you can see the shot gun that was strapped back onto your back.

He must be getting scared of the gun!

Slowly, you took out the gun. He started to panic more, even Gianna panicked slightly, as she got in front of the boy and growled at you slightly, "Don't even think about it." Gianna growled.

Slowly, you still kept on pulling out the gun. Once it was in your hands, you threw it to the side, far away from you. Gianna calmed down, stepping away from the boy, "Sorry, I thought you were going to hurt him more..." She mumbled.

You started to walk towards the boy slash deer, and he started to get scared, "Calm down. Everything's going to be alright." You calmly said, bending down in front of him, staring into his dark brown eyes, "I'm going to help you get your ankle out of the trap. You're going to be okay, alright?"

Something about your voice was soothing to the boy. He had calmed down slightly, as he was staring into your (E/c) eyes. Something about you was different then any other human he's met, mostly hunters. You sounded warm-hearted and caring, like you would never harm another living creature. Slowly, he nodded his head at you.

You broke the eye contact and looked at the trap. You reached out and gripped the sides of the trap, "Okay, I'm going to pull it open, but you're going to have to quickly pull your ankle out. It might hurt, but it's the only way you'll get your ankle out, okay?"

He nodded again, more quickly this time, "Okay, on the count of three. One... Two... Three!"

With all your might, you pulled it open, and it was really hard. He yelped, but immediately pulled out his ankle. Once he was free, you let go of the trap, a sigh of relief escaping your mouth.

You felt Gianna throw herself at you, giving a weird wolf girl hug, "Thank you, thank you, thank you so much!" She exclaimed.

You giggled slightly, awkwardly patting her back, "Your welcome, but my job isn't done yet."

Gianna pulled away from the hug, then you took off your bag, looking for he first aid kit you had packed. When you found it, you walked back over to the boy, bending down in front of his again.

"I'm going to help you with the bad cut in your ankle now, okay? It's going to hurt a little, but I'll go quick." You said calmly again, as you got out the materials.

He had started to get used to your soothing voice, as he nodded at you. You pulled out a cotton ball and a water bottle. Since you didn't have any rubbing alcohol, you poured some of the water from the bottle onto the cotton ball. Slowly, you pressed the cotton ball on his deer ankle. He winced from contact, but then he got used to it, as you slowly wiped away the blood. After wiping away the blood, you took out white bandages. You wrapped it around his bruised ankle, making it slightly tight to stop the bleeding. When you finished, you put all the material away.

"There. Good as new. Here, I'll help you up." You said to him, holding both your hands out for him to grab.

He had slight awe in his face, as he stared at you. Slowly, he reached his hands out to both your hands, grabbing them softly. You slowly pulled him up from the ground. When he got on all fours, you were both still holding hands, making his ace go all red.

"Are you able to walk?" You asked him.

"...I-I'll try." He quietly said.

You held his hands, as he tried to step forward. He was starting to get the hang of it, so you started to let go of his hands. As soon as your hands were fully away from him, he yelped and fell, but you had caught him, which made him blush more, "Maybe you're not ready yet." You said, "Just sit here for a little bit with Gianna and wait until you're able to walk again."

"Wait, does that mean you're leaving?" Gianna pouted.

"I kinda have to head back. My father is probably worried about me." You admitted, scratching the back of your neck.

"Oh come on, please? Can't you stay with us a little longer? I'll need help bringing him back to his home?" Gianna asked, "We could be friends and hangout, can't we?"

You thought for a moment. To be honest, Gianna did seem fun to hangout with... Even if she was half wolf half human, and the boy was pretty cute, even if you never got his name yet, or that he's half deer, or that he has barely spoken to you. And you really didn't want to face the consequences of your father when you get home, since you didn't bring back a deer as told. And even if the boy was a deer, you couldn't bring him to his father, since we was half human.

A small smile spread across your face, "You know what? Sure, I'll stay with you guys for a bit longer."

~•~•~

Months have past ever since that day. You had gotten closer to Gianna and the boy. You eventually learned that the boys name was Deerper, which was by far one of the cutest names ever created.

At the moment, you were hanging out by a river with Deerper, while Gianna was out with her friends. Gianna usually never leaves Deerper's side, for some reason that they haven't told you yet, but every since you came along, she was able to let you watch him.

"Hey Dee? Can I ask you something?" You asked.

The question you wanted to ask him has been in your head for almost a week. You were very curious about him. It seemed like there were a lot of secrets about him that maybe even Gianna didn't know.

He looked over at you, "Sure. What up?"

"Gianna has told me that she has never left your side ever since some certain day. Could you- tell me why? Did something happen to you? And back when I first met you when you got your ankle stuck in the trap-- why did you get so scared of my gun?" You asked him.

His face had paled, and he looked away from you, now staring at the river, "Oh, maybe I shouldn't have asked you that." You said with regret, "You don't have to answer the question then-"

"No! I-I'll tell you. It's time I-I tell you, anyways." Deerper said quietly.

There was a moment of silence, "About a two years ago, I-I was out in the forest, heading over to the river to meet someone very special to me. I-I had only left to go find some food for us. Just as I-I saw her figure in view, there was a loud bang, and s-she had collapsed to the ground. When I-I got close enough to her, I-I saw that s-she was s-shot. I-I've been scarred ever since. W-We would always stay by each other's s-sides and protect each other. So since that d-day, Gianna has never left m-my side. She w-was there to protect m-me."

He paused for a moment, taking in a shaky breath, "So, when I-I first met you, I-I was scared that you were just like the other hunter that shot... H-her..." He said quietly, almost in a whisper, "The scene that I-I watched always repeats in my head. I-I could have saved her, I-I was right there... I-I'm such an idiot..." He muttered.

"Dee, you are not an idiot. You can't keep blaming yourself about this your entire life. I'm so sorry for you, and that you had to witness that tragedy." You said soothingly, rubbing his back.

"A-And when I-I saw your shot gun, the memory came back to m-me, and I-I started to panic." Deerper said.

There was a moment of silence, "By any chance, can you tell me who this girl was?"

He took in a deep shaky breath again, and you were able to see tears form in his eyes, "S-She was my sister..."

"You had a sister?" You asked, slightly shocked.

"T-Twin sister, to be precise." He mumbled.

Tears prickled in your eyes, as you stared at Deerper with sadness, as a tear rolled down his cheek. A second later, you threw yourself at him, hugging him tightly, taking him by surprise and making him blush intensely. A couple of tears rolled down your cheeks, as you slightly hugged him tighter, "I'm so sorry that you lost her..."

He hugged you back tightly, digging his head into the crock of your neck. The two of you stayed in this position for a few minutes, just enjoying the contact you two were sharing.

"Did I ever tell you how much I love you?" You whispered into his deer ear.

His deer ears perked up, as you pulled away from the hug, "Wh-Wha--?"

Before he could say anything, you softly kisses his lips. When you pulled away, his deer ears were perked up all the way, his face was flushed red, his eyes were widened and their was a dreamy look on his face.

You giggled at him, reaching up towards his cheek and grabbing it, giving it a little squeeze, "You're too adorkable, Dee." You smiled, "And that's why I love you."

"I-I love you too, (Y/n)."
