You and Dipper's Age: 15

3rd POV

"I can't believe we're playing this." Dipper sighed half-heartedly.

Mabel had gone out with her friends, the Stan's are out doing some exploring together, and Soos and Wendy were given the day off by Dipper. He was told to hold down the fort while the Stan's were gone, and nobody ever came to the Shack on a beautiful summer afternoon on a Sunday. They're most likely at the beach with their friends and/or family or at the public pool. And since Dipper was going to be alone on such a nice day, why not invite over the only person he's basically friends with?

You rolled your eyes at him, shoving his shoulder lightly, "Come on Truth or Dare isn't that bad."

Dipper gave you a blank expression, "It's literally the most cliché game to play on earth. And it's very cliché of you to even mention playing the game."

"Don't be such a drama queen, you big baby." You said, "Now shut up and play the game with me. I'm bored." You held out the last word in a long breath, throwing your head back dramatically.

Dipper chuckled at you softly, "Alright fine I'll play."

The two of you were in his room, sitting on his bed. You smiled at him, "Good. Truth or Dare?"

Dipper sighed slightly, looking upwards at the roof of the shack as if the answer to the question was printed in clear bold letters, "Knowing you-" He looked back down at you, giving you a playful smile, causing a small blush to appear on your cheeks, "-the dares you come up with are too risky; Truth."

"Do you have any secrets? If so, spill one?" You smirked at him.

He gave you a look as if the answer was the most obvious thing ever, "You already know most of my secrets since I tell you most of them."

"Then tell me the ones you haven't told me. I know you're always hiding stuff from me." You said.

His teeth gripped the corner of his bottom lip, deep pools of dark-cinnamon swirled eyes scanned across the room. Dipper thought to himself, a small crimson blush appearing on his cheeks. But he shook the blush away, looking back at you, "I listen to Baba music. There, happy?"

"Dude, you already told me that. You know that that's the one thing I always use against you." You giggled, making him blush again.

"Whatever okay? Truth or dare?" He asked you, raising an eyebrow.

You tapped the bottom of your chin slowly and repeatedly, glancing around the room, "Truth. Your dares are just as bad as mine."

"Is there a person you like?"

"Look who's the cliché one now." You smirked.

Dipper rolled his eyes playfully at you, "Just answer the question."

"Fine... I do like someone." You said, a small blush appearing on your cheeks again, "Truth or dare?"

"Truth."

You smirked at him again, "Who do you like?"

Any smirk or smile was wiped off Dipper's face. It was as almost the air was knocked right out of his lungs. How was he supposed to tell his best friend for years that he was in love with her without sounding weird? Dipper was going to tell you eventually about his feelings, yes, but he wasn't exactly expecting it to come out over a very cliche sleepover game. His gaze dropped down to his lap where his sweaty hands rested. What if you didn't like him back? What if this would ruin your beautiful friendship? What if– it turn into something more than friends that Dipper has always dreamed about?

His gaze returning to yours. You had leant slightly closer to him, a glint of mischief in your vibrant (E/c) eyes. Dipper gulped, taking in a breath. Taking every chance he's got, Dipper quickly responded to your question, "You-" He could feel his face burn up by the second, "-truth or dare?"

The smirk from your face disappeared, replaced with slightly taken aback expression. Your face was just as bright red as Dipper's now. You really didn't know what to say back to him, so instead you answered the question, "D-Dare?" Your response came out more as a question.

It was his turn to lean slightly more closer to you, a small mischievous smirk spreading across his face. He knew by know that if you had other thoughts about him liking you, you would have stopped the game or mention something about what he said. But you didn't. And Dipper knew that you get awkward and flushed when someone gets something out of you that would be embarrassing for everyone to know, or in this case, him realizing that you could possibly like him back, "I dare you to ask me out." Like he said, he's taking every chance he's got.

The blush on your face darkened, if it was possible. The small smirk hadn't left his face yet, and he was still close to you. You hadn't done the dare yet not because you weren't worried about him not saying yes —he wouldn't have dared you to do this if he didn't like you back— but it was just all so sudden that it hasn't even hit you that the guy of your dreams likes you back. Slowly, you leant even closer to his face, the smirk returning to your face, "Dipper Pines? Will you do me the honors of being my boyfriend?"

Dipper's heart was beating out of his chest a mile a minute, he swore he was going to have a heart attack. But before he could answer, you spoke, "Truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to say yes."

A smile grew on his face, leaning more closer towards you, "I'd love to."

This time a smile appeared on your face. The two of you stayed like this, staring into each other's eyes, silly grins on your faces. So this was how you two were going to end up together, huh? Through a silly cliché game? You were arguing though. Since without it, you wouldn't have found it that you both liked each other the whole time, "Truth or dare?" Dipper asked you finally, breaking you from your train of thought.

"I feel like I might not regret this answer for once-" You chuckled, "but dare."

"You're right." Dipper laughed, "Cause I dare you to kiss me."

And with that, your lips finally touched. Sparks went off and the world seemed to only revolve around the two of you at the moment. You two slowly pull back from each other, your grins never leaving your faces, "So?" You asked, "Still think this game is too cliché?"

He rolled his eyes at you again, chuckling softly, then pecking your cheek slowly and gently, "Yeah, definitely."
