You and Dipper's Age: 17

~•~Your POV~•~

"Hey (Y/n)!" I heard someone yell from behind me.

I turned around and faced my best friend, Dipper Pines.

"Hey Dip! What's up?" I asked.

"Do you wanna hangout today?" He asked.

"Oh, sorry-but, I have to babysit right after school." I said.

"Can I come and help?" He asked.

I raised my eyebrow at him.

"Are you good with kids?" I asked, both of us starting to walk out of the school.

"I guess." Dipper shrugged.

"Ok, if you say so- but you're not getting paid." I said.

He rolled his eyes at me and chuckled.

"So, who are we watching?" He asked.

"We're going to be watching over twins. I've been babysitting them for a long time, long enough that I could call them my kids. There brother and sister, like you and Mabel. And surprisingly, they kinda look a little like you guys too." I said.

"Is there anything else about these twins I should know about?" Dipper asked.

"There names are Dustin and Mary-Ann. They're around 7 or 8 years old. They actually both act like you and Mabel; Mary-Ann all crazy and hipper and Dustin is serious and awkward. And Dustin does have a huge crush on me." I said, laughing at the end.

"Oh really?" Dipper asked, chuckling a bit.

"Yeah. Oh, we're almost there." I said.

We walked for a little bit more until we stopped at a white, two story house.

"We're here." I said.

We walked up the steps of the house to the door. Once we got right in front of the door, I rang the door bell. I heard loud footsteps and laughter from the other side of the door. The door swung open. Mary-Ann opened the door, with Dustin right behind her.

Mary-Ann had bright brunette, long hair with bright brown eyes. Her facical appearance looks a lot like Mabel, but she has a lot of freckles around her nose. She always has a little bow on her hair, it changes color everyday. She usaully wears tank tops with skirts. I tried to introduce her to sweaters, but she wasn't interested.

Dustin also had bright brunette hair with bright brown eyes too, but his hair is messy like Dipper's. His facical appearance looks a lot like Dipper too, but the same thing as Mary-Ann, he's got freckles around his nose. But his nose is a little red like Dipper's. He usaully wears a T-shirt and shorts, but no vest or hat like Dipper. I think it's cute when he sometimes gets nervous around me and he gives me gifts sometimes. Mary-Ann smiled at us.

"Hi (Y/n)! Our parents just left a few minutes ago!" She said, then looking at Dipper, "Who is that? Is he your boyfriend?"

Dipper and I both blushed.

"Oh, uh, Mary-Ann, Dustin, this is my best friend, Dipper." I said.

"Oh! Well it's nice to meet you, Dipper!" Mary-Ann said, stepping away from the door so we can walk in.

"Why is he here?" Dustin asked, kind of annoyed.

"He wanted to hangout with me today but I had to watch you guys, so I brought him along." I said as Dipper and I walked in the house.

"Cool! Now I have two people who will color with me!" Mary-Ann said.

Dipper looked at me and I just laughed.

"Did your mom and dad make you lunch yet?" I asked.

"No." The twins choursed.

"Ok, what would you like for lunch?" I asked.

"Macaroni-and-cheese!" They choursed.

I shook my head and laughed.

"All right. Dipper, you can color with them." I smirked.

He gave me a look but did as he was told. I walked into the kitchen and pulled out the materials I needed. The counter connects in both the living room and the kitchen, so I was able to watch them while I cooked. Dustin went to watch TV as Dipper colored at the counter with Mary-Ann.

"Hey Mary-Ann, do you wanna know something?" Dipper asked Mary-Ann, clearing doing a bad job of whispering.

"What?" Mary-Ann asked.

"You see that girl in the kitchen?" Dipper asked, pointing at me as I pretended that I didn't notice.

"You mean (Y/n)?" Mary-Ann asked.

"Yeah, I love her." Dipper whispered.

"As a friend?" Mary-Ann asked.

Dipper shook his head 'no'.

"Like as my mommy and daddy?" Mary-Ann asked.

Dipper chuckled a little but nodded. Mary-Ann's face lit up and a big smile grew on her face. I was shocked. Dipper loved me? And he told Mary-Ann, a little girl he just met, and not me, his best friend? After I put the twins to bed tonight, I need to talk to him.

"(Y/n)? Could you tuck me into bed?" Mary-Ann asked.

"Of course." I smiled.

Mary-Ann's room was on the first floor, so it wasn't that far. Mary-Ann ran ahead of me to her room while I tagged behind. She hoped on to her fluffy, pink bed, waiting for me. I giggled and sat next to her on her bed.

"Do you want me to do your hair too?" I asked.

"Ok!" Mary-Ann said, standing up on the bed.

She reached over to her dresser that was next to her bed, grabbing a hairbrush and hair tie. She plopped back down on her bed and handed me the hairbrush and hair tie. I took the supplies and she turned her back to me. We both sat Indian chief style.

"Do you want a braid?" I asked.

"Yes, please." She said.

I smiled as I started to brush out her hair.

"Hey, did you hear what Dipper said about you?" Mary-Ann asked.

"No. What?" I asked, acting like I don't know.

"He said he loves you." Mary-Ann giggled.

Yup, just like Mabel. "Oh did he?"

"Uh huh. He told me while he was coloring unicorns with me."

I snorted to myself. Wow. I have to go check that unicorn later. As I finished braiding her hair, I finally tucked her into bed.

"Can you sing me a song?" She asked.

"Um, ok. Any requests?"

"Taylor Swift!" Mary-Ann smiled.

"Sure." I said, laughing slightly.

I cleared my throat and took in a breath.

"I remember tears streaming down your face when I said, 'I'll never let you go',

When all those shadows almost killed your light

I remember you said, 'Don't leave me here alone'

But all that's dead and gone and passed- tonight

Just close your eyes

The sun is going down

You'll be alright

No one can hurt you now

Come morning light

You and I'll be safe- and- sound

Don't you dare look out your window darling everything's on fire

The war outside our door keeps raging on

Hold on- to this- lullaby

Even when the music's gone

Gone

Just close your eyes

The sun is going down

You'll be alright

No one can hurt you now

Come morning light

You and I'll be safe and sound

Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh

La La

La La

Oooh, Oooh, Oooh, Oooh

La La

Just close your eyes...

You'll be alright...

Come morning light,

You and I'll be safe and sound...

Oooh, oooh, oooh,

oooh oh oh"

When I finished, she was asleep. I sighed, pushing her hair out of her face.

"Goodnight." I whispered, standing up.

I heard footsteps outside the door. I turned around, but no one was there. I raised an eyebrow as I walked out of the room, slowly shutting the door. I walked into the living room, seeing Dipper quickly sit down on the couch, acting like he did something. I raised my eyebrow at him, putting a hand on my hip.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"Nothing. I was doing nothing in particular." Dipper said.

I rolled my eyes at him and sat down next to him on the couch. It was quiet at first, but I broke the silence.

"So, Mary-Ann tells me that you love me?" I asked.

Dipper's face went completely red and he looked away.

"You heard that?" He asked.

"How could I not? I was literally right next to you." I giggled.

"Remind me next time not to tell Mary-Ann secrets." Dipper said, laughing nervously.

"Yeah, last time someone told Mary-Ann a secret, I almost got fired and grounded by my parents." I laughed.

We were quiet again.

"So, is it true? That you love me?" I asked.

Dipper gave me a small, sheepishly smile, but nodded. I smiled.

"Good, cause I do too." I said, pulling him into a kiss.

After kissing for awhile, I heard someone clear their throat. We both pulled back and turned our heads. I saw the twins starring at us. Mary-Ann had a big smile on her face as she quietly cheered to herself, but Dustin was crossing his arms, his ears were red and he looked angry, staring at Dipper.

"U-uh, what are you two still doing up?" I asked.

"I never got to say goodnight to you." Dustin said, still starring angrily at Dipper.

"I wanted a kiss goodnight too!" Mary-Ann said.

I laughed a little as I stood up. I walked over to Dustin first and kissed his cheek, making his face go completely red and smile.

"Well at least you're not mad anymore." I giggled.

Then I kissed Mary-Ann on the cheek, getting a kiss back on my cheek from her.

"Thank you!" Mary-Ann said as she happily walked back to her room.

I picked Dustin up and looked at Dipper.

"I'll be right back." I said, quickly winking at him.

Dustin wrapped his arms around my neck and looked at Dipper.

"She's mine!" He said, quickly giving me a kiss on the lips and resting his head on my shoulder.

I laughed and so did Dipper.

"It looks like you've got some competition, Dipper." I smirked, carrying Dustin to his room.

"It looks like it." Dipper laughed.

"You love me more though, right (Y/n)?" Dustin asked.

"Yeah, I do love you more." I smiled.

"I heard that!" Dipper said from the other room.

"Quiet, you!" I called back, hearing a chuckle from Dustin.
