Three weeks have passed since Suleiman went to Edirne with Mahidevran, Mustafa and Mehmed. Hürrem felt bad for this whole time because she haven't seen her son for three weeks and he was with Mahidevran only. She didn't know if she would even care about him and I knew it was really hard for her. I was glad Suleiman respected me enough to let Murad stay in the palace because I think I wouldn't be able to stay peaceful with my son for this period.

"Has His Majesty said when he is returning?" I asked Valide Sultan with who I finally had normal relationship. I knew there was no sense of being in bad relationship because she was Valide Sultan and I didn't want to disrespect her.

"They should stay there for two more weeks as I know. I think this is maybe too long period for him to be absent from the castle," she said and looked at Hürrem and me who were in her chambers. She was really angry on Hürrem and she always threated her worse than she did Mahidevran or me.

"I hope nothing bad has happened," Hürrem said and sighed. I really hoped also nothing bad happened because after all, I loved Suleiman so much and I wanted our relationship to become better. I couldn't stand him being far away from me and especially when he is with Mahidevran for so long time.

At that moment Sumbul came into Valide Sultan's chambers even without knocking which was weird to us all. He came in front of Valide and he seemed like he is shaking right now.

"Valide Sultanim... They arrived to the palace," Sumbul started to say as his voice was shaking and all of three us stood up as we knew something bad has happened when Sumbul behaved like this.

"His Majesty is hurt, he got some sickness and he can't wake up, they sent him to his chambers now... May God help us," Sumbul said and I immediately ran out of the Valide's chambers same way she and Hürrem did the moment after me.

I ran towards Suleiman's chambers and I saw there are Mahidevran with Mustafa and Mehmed who were both crying. Hürrem ran and took Mehmed in her hands while we were standing in front of Suleiman's chambers.

"Let me in," I ordered agha which was standing on the doors, but he kept silent and didn't respond to me.

"Did you hear me?" I yelled on him once again not caring if anyone here not even Valide Sultana is here. I needed to see Suleiman.

"His Majesty has one sickness that we don't know about, it is dangerous and no one should enter inside," Yahya Efendi, Suleiman's doctor came inside and said to us all and I felt like I would collapse every second.

"Yahya Effendi what is with my son?" Valide Sultan asked as she couldn't stop her tears that were going down her eyes.

"We don't know, but Sultan can't wake up. We don't know if he can survive this," he said before walking away and I was broken. I couldn't even see him nor know how is he now. I couldn't know what would happen next but the doctors gave only the worst possibility to us. I knew Suleiman would get over this and become healthy again and strong ruler like he used to be, but fear was killing me inside what if anything bad happens and I behaved so bad and I was so cold towards him in the last time.

I couldn't forgive myself for the wrong behaviour I had for him and I was so sorry for the all mistakes I've done. Guilt was killing me because of my coldness he went with Mahidevran just to make me jealous and now something there has happened to him.

"Mahidevran what have you done to him? Did you poison him to get Mustafa on the throne?" Hürrem yelled at Mahidevran and her servant took Mehmed in his chambers. Usually I would want to calm her down but this time I didn't have any strength because somehow I felt that Hürrem was right this time and maybe Mahidevran was involved.

"Valide do you hear what non senses she is talking?" Mahidevran asked Valide and laughed like nothing bad has happened, but Valide didn't seem to be in a mood for her laughing.

"Enough Mahidevran. While my son is dying you are laughing here instead of praying for his health. If anything bad happens to him I will look you as responsible," Valide hissed at her. Mustafa looked at her surprised but shocked on Valide's word as Valide was never in her life behaving like this.

"Valide Sultanim do you allow me please to enter those chambers and see him at least for a second?" I begged her.

"Dilruba, you are pregnant my dear you can't go inside, what if you get sick then you may pass it to Murad also," she put her hand on my cheek trying to reassure me to listen to her, but I couldn't.

"If this was dangerous, then Şehzades who were with Sultan would also get it. And Mahidevran Sultan too. I don't care if I risk my life I just wish to see him because otherwise I couldn't stand this pain," I said and she and Hürrem realised my words which gave us all more possibility that it was her who has done it.

"We can all go on the terrace and see him from the curtains, but not inside," Valide said and I nodded knowing when she would leave the terrace I would enter the chambers not caring for anyone. I ordered Cihan to lock herself and Murad in my chambers and made sure she has something to defend her in the worst possible case because if anything bad would happen to Suleiman it would mean Mustafa ascending the throne, and my son being killed.

We stood on the terrace and from the curtains looked at Suleiman who's body was laying down without moving or without opening his eyes. My heart couldn't stand looking at the man I love most in the world being in this condition. Valide was crying for the whole time and she was praying. Hürrem started to cry so much, that her tears made me cry even more.

"Hürrem, you are pregnant. You are in higher months of your pregnancy and you should return to your chambers and be with your children and make sure they are safe," I said and at the word safe Mahidevran looked at us immediately.

"You are too but you are here, don't tell me what to do," she hissed at me as she couldn't stop crying and I took her into a hug. She was the only one who felt the same way as I did because we both loved a man who we didn't know if would survive this and if anything bad happens our children wouldn't be alive the next day.

"Go to Mehmed, Mihrimah and Selim and take care of them. Lock into your chambers and save your princes in case of anything bad. Later I will come to you and we make sure they are safe," I whispered to her knowing all of them heard us but I didn't care. The situation was like this and no one could deny it. Hürrem listened to me and she left to her chambers as only Valide, Mahidevran, Mustafa and I remained here.

"What stupid things you are filling her head with. If Suleiman dies you can't save your princes from what is supposed to be done to them," Mahidevran said without any kind of empathy or any sign of sadness for Suleiman.

"Enough Mahidevran," Valide yelled at her.

"Why are you all yelling on my mother?" Mustafa asked Valide Sultan who just looked at another way because this was not the time nor place to speak about that.

"Come Mustafa, sit on the throne here on terrace which belongs to you now," Mahidevran said and with each her word I was sure she was the one behind this plan. Valide looked at her with so much anger in her eyes but none of us could do anything in this moment. Hours passed and Valide decided it was the time for her to leave finally and then I still stayed as Mahidevran and Mustafa did because I had fear Mahidevran would make something even worse and I didn't want to let Suleiman alone.

When she and Mustafa weren't watching, I opened the curtains and entered Suleiman's chambers. I went next to his bed and sat next to him, not caring if I would get the same sickness because I loved him so much. I took his hand into mine and kissed it.

"If you only would know how much I love you Suleiman. If you only knew how much we need you right now. We need you to stay with us. I promise I would never again be cold or angry on you, I regret every second of my life that I have spent angry on you and without you. I can't live without you." I whispered.

From his bed I looked how sun went down and the moon came, and again in the morning how the sun has risen. It has risen and in those chambers has put a shadow of someone sitting on the throne, and someone standing beside him. I saw Mustafa and Mahidevran are still there.

"Your father won't survive any more, from tomorrow, you will be the Sultan of this glorious Ottoman Empire," Mahidevran said as she patted Mustafa's shoulder. At that moment the doors of Suleiman's chambers opened and I saw Valide Sultana. They informed her I entered inside so she also did this. She went to me and gave me a hug. We needed to be together in this and we needed to be strong.

"When you ascend the throne Mustafa, we will get rid of all the enemies one by one. We will kill your brothers, and then we will send Valide Sultan and Hürrem and Dilruba to Old Palace, where they will be slaves until the rest of their lives. Our era will start soon," Mahidevran continued to fill Mustafa's head with her plans.

"I've sent all of the children to Hatice's palace. They are safe there. I can't leave them here because if anything happens, we couldn't be able to stop Mahidevran," Valide said knowing she's helpless this time.
