"Hello Mr. Jeon, it's been a long time since I've seen you..." Jungkook watched as a year slide down his dad's face as he replied "My god you look just like your father..."

Suddenly Taehyung got up from his spot on the couch and ran over and hugged Mr. Jeon. Jungkook looked at his equally confused mother before saying "Uhmm I think we're missing something?..." Taehyung laughed as he went to sit back down by Jungkook, immediately gripping his hand, taking Jungkook by surprise.

Mr. Jeon joined them on the couch and said "Well I guess we should explain huh?" Taehyung laughed and nodded his head. Mr. Jeon started by saying "Well I first met Taehyung when he was about 4 years old. His father was CEO Kim, and because of his wife's condition, he had to take little Taehyung with him to events and meetings. Taehyung was just the sweetest little boy ever. When he turned 13 Mr. Kim shot himself right into front of Taehyung."

Taehyung gripped Jungkooks hand tighter as Mr. Jeon continued. "Knowing the boy for so long, I helped pay for any expenses that they would need. I only saw Taehyung twice after his father's death." Mr. Jeon looked over at Taehyung for permission, which Taehyung gave slowly. "The first was when he was 14 and it was because he tried to kill himself, his mother wasn't able to go to the hospital and get him, so I did. The second time was again when he was 14, he showed up at my office one day crying so much, all he wanted was to be hugged and comforted. I figured he probably just had a bad day, but later that week a found out that.... that day he was sexually assaulted."

Jungkook gasped quietly as he looked over at Taehyung who was playing with the ring on his finger. "Once Taehyung turned 17 and got a job, he canceled the transaction between us and their bank account that provided for his mother." Taehyung nodded and said "She's doing well, I've been keeping up with her medical bills..." Mr. Jeon nodded and said "I'm glad, but enough of this, let's go make some dinner!" Mrs. Jeon followed her husband into the kitchen leaving the two boys alone on the couch.

Jungkook turned to face Taehyung with a determined look. Taehyung looked up at him slowly. Jungkook then placed his hands on the sides of Taehyungs face, and putting their foreheads together while whispering "I promise I will never let someone hurt you again..." Taehyung smiled and said "I believe you." After a moment of sitting there Taehyung whispered "Jungkook..." Jungkook hummed in response. "Thats why I quit from Mr. Parks Company..." Jungkook opened his eyes confused "What?" Taehyung looked into Jungkooks eyes and whispered "Mr. Park tried to use and rape me."

Jungkooks face grew hard with anger, but it soon melted as Taehyung put his face in the crook of Jungkooks neck and wrapped him in a hug. After a minute both boys pulled apart and headed to the kitchen where Jungkooks parents were. Mrs. Jeon had started making dinner while Mr. Jeon sat at the island and casually talked with his wife.

Taehyung walked over to Mrs. Jeon and offered to help, which she gladly accepted. Jungkook went and sat by his father quietly. After a moment Jungkook quietly said to his father "I really love him dad, I really do." Mr. Jeon smiled weakly and said "I know son, I'm sorry I was always so hard on you about the divorce... I'm just... so glad you finally found someone that makes you happy." A tear slipped down Jungkooks cheek as he sighed in relief.

Taehyung turned around and noticed the tear sliding down Jungkooks face so he leaned over the island and wiped it off with a small smile on his face. Jungkook and Mr. Jeon smiled as they watched the two chefs get along and talk about whatever they could possibly think of.

Suddenly the pitter patter of little feet made everyone look at the door where Min-joon was sleepily walking up to Taehyung. He pulled on Taehyungs shirt lightly before saying "Eomma I'm hungryyyy" Taehyung turned bright red at being called Eomma. He turned to look at Jungkook who was equally as red. Mr. Jeon was cleaning up the water he spit out and Mrs. Jeon was just standing there with a shocked yet excited face.

The still blushing Taehyung crouched down and said "Dinners almost done Min-joon, let's go get Soo-ah." Once Taehyung left Mrs. Jeon squealed and said "The kids definitely approve too!!" Jungkook blushed and hid his face in his hands.

Dinner went very well, Taehyung got along well with everyone and they overall had a good time. Jungkook pulled out some hidden wine from their basement and had a glass with his parents while Taehyung got the twins bathed and in bed. But it was starting to get pretty late so the Jeons went back home. Leaving just Taehyung and Jungkook.

Taehyung sighed and said "Uhm I should probably go home then, I'll let you guys go to bed." But Jungkook quickly pulled Taehyung back inside as he said "I think you should just stay here again, it's already pretty late." Taehyung looked up at Jungkook who now had his arms on Taehyung waist. "Are you sure Kook?" Jungkook smiled and said "Absolutely."
