"What happened?" Yuna asked looking at everyone else present in the room.

Jaehee looked at her and shook her head. "Not sure..." she responded. Taehyung was still on the floor hugging Jungkook tightly.

"Please open your eyes" he requested pecking Jungkook's forehead too. "I love you... we promised we won't leave each other then why are you troubling me, huh? See, the King and Queen are so stressed too. Open your eyes, alpha" Taehyung kept pecking Jungkook's face as he begged him to wake up.

As a result of so much love given by Taehyung, Jungkook let out a huge puff of air and quavering he gradually opened his eyes. Jaehee, Yuna, Jungwoon, Yeji and all the others could feel the instant difference around them.

There was no longer the blanket of negativity or gloominess around. A sudden rush of happiness surged through all of them. "I feel so different now. There isn't any more gloominess or melancholy" Yuna acknowledged.

"Yeobo, does it means that... that..." Jaehee with hopeful eyes looked at Jungwoon. The king grinned, and with teary eyes nodded.

"The curse is finally broken" Jaehee sighed loudly and almost fainted but the King held her before she can fall. Yuna clapped her hands, crying because... the things went so dramatic and it was just so romantic.

Taehyung though, couldn't feel any difference, still smiled happily. He helped Jungkook to sit properly and passed the glass of water that was kept on the side table of his room. "Do you feel anything?" Taehyung cautiously asked Jungkook. The Trueblood looked up and Taehyung and shook his head.

"I am feeling empty... but it makes me so relaxed, calm and serene. The constant anxiety, and sadness, it is all gone. You saved me, you are my blessing, my love" Jungkook immediately hugged Taehyung and whispered. "Thank you so much... I love you"

Taehyung giggled and hugged him back. "I love you". After breaking the hug Jungkook looked up at his mother and father- who more than anything were waiting to hug their son. Jungkook stood up with Taehyung's help and went near Jaehee.

The queen was crying, extending her hands she waited for Jungkook to hold them. The Trueblood chuckled and finally held her hands. Jaehee happily cried more when she was able to hold her son without getting bruised or burned. "I can finally hold you. Jungkook, I can hold you"

"Yes, mom... You can" Jaehee without wasting any second hugged him tightly. Jungkook smiled and buried his face in her crook, inhaling her mother's scent. It was his first time hugging his mother, the sensation- the feeling- was foreign but not unwelcoming. The warmth that spread in their chest was able to make them cry even more.

"Don't forget your appa, Jungkook" Jungwoon sulked. Jungkook chuckled and hugged his father too. Jaehee too joined them, Jungwoon wrapping his arms protectively around the two.

Yuna came towards Taehyung- her son was smiling so brightly that his cheeks might start hurting. But he doesn't care- the family union was so emotional that nobody could stop smiling seeing it. "I am so proud of you, son" Yuna said, ruffling his hair. Taehyung scrunched his nose and giggled.

"Thank you, mom"

After those emotional and heartwarming moments, Jaehee, Jungwoon and Yuna decided to talk a little. They had things to discuss. So leaving Taehyung and Jungkook alone all the other four went out of the room.

"Yuna, where were you for all these years?" Jaehee of course wasn't mad. She was just curious.

"We were living in Oru pack all this time. My father brought me a home there so after Taemin's death I started living there only" she informed.

"Oru pack? I remembered sending my informers there... then how come nobody got to know about Taehyung?" Jungwoon too was just curious.

Yuna looked down in guilt and cleared her throat. "Actually, not a lot of people there even know about it. The ones present during the time of his birth know... But I requested them to never tell anyone, especially outsiders, so it never spread" Jungwoon's mouth made into an 'o' at the information.

"I am sorry... I knew about Taehyung's importance in Jungkook's life but I was so angry at that time. I believed Jungkook was the one who killed Taemin. I didn't wanted to lose Taehyung too... and also, wanted revenge. It was immature of me... I am really sorry" Yuna sincerely apologised by bowing her head. Jaehee hugged her from the side.

"It's ok... I would have been angry too if something happened with my king. I am just glad that misunderstanding is cleared and our son is finally fine and free now" she whispered. Yuna again bowed her head gratefully.

Jungwoon sighed and removing his crown, bowed his head too. "Even if it wasn't our son who killed Taemin, still in our castle under our security it happened and I would be forever ashamed of it. I wanted to apologise to you earlier too but so much was happening and I couldn't even dare to come to you and till the time I could come you were already gone somewhere else. I am sorry"

"Don't be, your majesty. You didn't know it would happen. Now, not focusing on the past... let's start afresh after all we are going to become in-laws" Yuna giggled.

Jaehee and Jungwoon chuckled at her indication. "You are right. Let's start afresh. Oh, also, would you like to shift back? I will prepare your house for you" Jaehee inquired. Yuna hummed and then nibbling on her lower lip, she shook her head.

"No, I don't think I can. We have already settled there in our pack. But don't worry I won't stop Taehyung from staying here if he would like... after all he has to rule this kingdom after this" Jungwoon nodded his head in understanding. Jaehee mumbled 'okay'.

Yuna turned around but when she was Yeji standing there she facepalmed and again looked at the royalties. "Also, I am really sorry for what Yeji did. I am just so ashamed... I don't know why she would go to such an extent, I am sorry" she was really ashamed of Yeji's act. The female alpha felt so guilty hearing her mother ashamed because of her.

Jaehee sighed, disappointedly looking at Yeji. "To be honest, if it was someone else I would have given her a death sentence but since the Bishop, Taemin and Taehyung owe us a lot... I won't go to such an extent. I feel you giving her punishment would be better than us doing" Jaehee suggested.

Yuna bowed her head gratefully. "Thank you for your benevolence"

"Mom, are you going back?" Taehyung asked as he came out along with Jungkook.

"It's night so we can't go yet... Tomorrow we have to... But if you want you can stay and don't worry about us. We will manage without you and since we aren't so far we can meet each other occasionally, ok?" Yuna suggested. Taehyung pouted and nodded his head.

He won't lie, he really wants to live with Jungkook only now. It isn't like he has gotten bored of his family, he can never but with Jungkook he has barely got 10 days and in that too they couldn't meet for long. So, now he just wants to spend time with Jungkook, travel around with him and do a lot more too.

And since Jungkook is the only prince, he can't leave Euphoria and settle with Taehyung elsewhere, so Taehyung is ready to do this sacrifice for the person who has suffered a lot and whom Taehyung loves a lot.

"Ok. But I will come to pack my things myself. It won't take a long... so, can I go for packing?" Taehyung pouted. The poor boy looked at everyone for permission, and they all, of course, nodded. Couldn't say no to his puppy eyes.

"You don't have to ask permission, Tae. You can do as your heart pleases. I will come with you too" The Trueblood winked.

"You don't have to, Kookie. I can come and go by myself"

"But I want to" Jungkook whined. Taehyung sighed and patted his arm. "Ok. Ok. Do as you want"

The other laughed at their adorable interaction. Jungkook can act like this? Surely, no one believed. Taehyung can already handle him so well.

"I will show you your room," Jaehee said. "Oh and also Jungkookie..." Jungkook hummed while looking at his mother.

Jaehee looked at everyone else with a smile and others understood what she wants to do. They all then sang together. "Happy Birthday~" Jungkook blushed and rubbed his ear with his hand. "Thank you" he replied. Taehyung cooed and pinched his cheeks.

Morning came in a blink and a lot was to be done. First of all, it was the time for the most awaited announcement to the citizens. "I, your king, have four very important announcements to make to my dear citizens. First, I am so delighted to tell you this- and you people could also figure out that because of a blessing the curse from the crown prince is uplifted. The curse is broken. Now, the crown prince is fine and has become a normal Trueblood- without any devil's soul inside" And as the King said this the citizens burst out into cheerful laughter and delighted claps. All were waiting for decades for this to happen.

The king smiled seeing their genuinely smiling faces. For the first time, they all can laugh and smile freely and heartedly. "Secondly, my son will succeed the throne soon along with his mate. First, the wedding will take place and directly after that coronation will take place. Thirdly, over the past two and a half decades, Euphoria has lost its charm and glory so now all the citizens and royalties together will try to flourish it and make it the Euphoria people used to know. As the most beautiful, prosperous and powerful kingdom. Can we all do it together?" as the king asked this all the citizens yelled a cheerful "Yes" back.

"I am proud of you all. Also, before I forget since today marks my son's 25th birthday and such a historic day for Euphoria we all will have a huge celebration today. The whole Euphoria will be decorated and you all would be able to see your future King and Queen for the first time"

"All hail King Jungwoon. All hail Queen Jaehee. All hail the crown prince and his mate. All hail Euphoria" The chants were repeated in rhythm by all the people. The drum roll was done, cheers were heard and people happily danced.

Jungwoon and Jaehee clapped their hands and felt so good seeing Euphoria celebrating so joyously after 25 years.

Yeji was too scared to face her mother. Taehyung and Jungkook just went back to Euphoria after packing Taehyung's clothes and also after inviting the whole pack together for the celebration, and the wedding plus coronation. They all were so excited to be a part of this big huge celebration and everyone was happier to know their blessing is going to become the queen of a kingdom and mate of such a handsome and kind alpha.

Since they all were here she didn't get any attention but now when they are gone she and Yuna will be alone and she is really very scared to face her. So, Yeji sat near the wall of her house and cried silently there.

Soon, she was joined by someone at the side. Wiping away her tears quickly she looked to the side and saw Maria sitting there. "Maria?" Maria looked at her and wiped away Yeji's tears.

"I am really sorry, Yeji" Yeji was taken aback by her apology. Why is she being so unpredictable?

"Why?" Maria sighed and fiddled with her fingers.

"For how I behaved in the past with you. I was so cruel and unfair to you. You were always there for me and I-I used to ignore you. At that time I was naive and just wanted Taehyung since he was so popular among everyone but as I grew up and flashes of the past used to occur, I realised how I behaved with you and... I felt so guilty. Taehyung surely is the world's kindest soul... but you aren't less. I remembered my mom telling me when I fell ill that how you used to ask her about my well-being every single hour. I know you aren't expressive with your words but you were so caring towards me. That time I took your friendship for granted but now I regret what I did so so so much" Yeji raised her eyebrows, humming at the memory.

"I felt so regretful for my behaviour and a few days ago when my friend there accidentally ignored me, I felt terrible so I couldn't even imagine how much terrible you might use to feel. Taehyung and you both are very pretty, kind and sweet. I know because of our deeds you have changed and I am also at fault... But I would like to change myself, change our dynamic and undo my mistake. I am sorry for being a coward before and not approaching you or saying sorry... but now when I got guts... I want to say sorry. I am really really sorry for my worst behaviour, Yeji. I understand, Not a lot of people can understand your worth but I do... and I want to cherish you. Want to tell you how worthy of the love you are... I just want to shower you with all the happiness that I, along with others snatched from you" Yeji's eyes widened at that. She gulped, blush forming on her cheeks.

"What do you mean?" Maria blushed and tittered.

"I want to court you and please before you think it's because I pity you or because I am guilty I am doing this... then it's not at all like that. I am not so dumb to court someone just because of those feelings... I just really like you and I guess, I want Yeji to be happy this time" Yeji again started crying but this time with different emotions.

"Aww, don't cry" Maria wiped her tears and jutted her lower lip out. "You look even prettier when you cry but still, don't cry" Yeji chuckled and shook her head.

"I am the alpha... I am supposed to flatter you not the other way around"

"I guess you can be the submissive alpha then" Maria chuckled and then bite her lip when she saw an offended expression on Yeji's face. "I mean... You can do it afterwards. First, let me do it then we both can take turns to flatter each other, ok?"

Yeji made a thinking face and then nodded. "Ok. I accept your courting proposal then" Maria smiled in victory. "Thank you so much, your highness. Now stop crying and go home. Aunt Yuna might be worried for you"

Yeji bitterly smiled and shook her head. "She won't be... I disappointed her so much"

Maria titled her head. "Then also I am sure she might be worried. Parents are always worried about their children. Also, I don't know what happened... But just go and apologise. I am sure she will try to understand you" Yeji looked into Maria's eyes and confidently nodded her head.

"Ok, I will do as you say"

"Good girl" Maria patted her head. "Also, be ready on time in the evening, ok? Let's go to the celebration together"

Yeji mumbling courageous words went inside, she was ready to hear all the scoldings from Yuna. As she entered she saw her mother taking out clothes for today's event. Yuna might have felt Yeji's presence but she didn't react at all.

Yeji went towards her and then went to her knees. Joined her hands. "I know you are very angry with me, mom. Heck, maybe angry isn't the accurate word... you might be furious at me. You and Taehyung have all the rights to be. What I did is just unforgivable. I was so dumb and an idiot to pull that stunt. I never gave you a chance to be proud instead just made you ashamed. I am sorry, I am really sorry. I was just so jealous of Taehyung. I used to feel so inferior, so unloved because of him. I know it's not an excuse to make... But still, I am sorry. I know it was never his fault... I will apologise to him too" Yeji shed a tear which she wiped away quickly. Yuna wanted to control herself, control to scold Yeji but she just couldn't and burst upon her.

"Why did you even do it, Yeji? Why did you go there after becoming something which you aren't? Why did you try to take Taehyung's position? I don't remember teaching you this... I made sure to love both you and Taehyung equally then also how could you feel so unloved that you went to do that. And not only me that boy loves you so much too. The brother you grew up hating, was always so worried for you. He kept trying to make you his friend, tried so that he can have a sister with whom he can share everything. He never wanted those fake friends- he only wanted a real sister. Still, you hated him. You know before going he requested me not to shout at you. I felt like I failed as a mother. I was just so angry at that time and I still am and even if Taehyung forgive you I don't think I can"

Yuna wasn't scolding, but that was the worst part as her voice was cold and emotionless. Yeji harshly bite her lower lip and curled it into a ball. "You and Taehyung never lacked in giving me love, mom but I was too lusty for other people's love and attention that I took your love for granted. I am very ashamed of myself too. But except for promising that I will try to become better, I can't say anything else... and I will apologise to Taehyung too and if you want I can even live anywhere else... so that you don't have to feel disappointed seeing me"

Yuna stomped her feet towards Yeji and pulled her by her ear. "Ahh, Mom. It is hurting" Yeji cried and tried to free her ear from her mother's iron grip.

"Where will you go, huh? Do you want to keep me in worry all the time? Yes, I am very angry with you but still, I love my daughter a lot. Equally to my son... and I can't bear losing you. Taehyung will be so mad too if he got to know what I did with his sister. So better now think of going away as I will bring you back even from hell" Yuna scolded but this had so much motherly love hidden.

Yeji cried and hugged Yuna, chanting "I am sorry" again and again. Yuna sighed and patted her arm. "I am sorry too that I made you feel in such a way that you had to take that step. You alone shouldn't be scolded... It's my fault too and now since we are going to live alone, until of course, you bring your omega, we will try to understand each other better and be happy, ok?"

"Best idea" Yeji showed Yuna her thumbs up.

"Well did I tell you this that I have more of a soft spot for you?" Yuna asked.

"Don't lie now... I feel better" Yeji giggled and sat in front of Yuna. The omega shook his head and smiled, putting Yeji's heart at ease.

"I am not lying... This is true. You have taken your father's features and qualities more. Ditto same you both look and I had soft spot for him and so I do have for you. You both are incredible in your own ways" Yeji smiled in victory.

"I feel better now. And I am sorry again"

"Hmm, as I said I could only forgive till Taehyung does so till then stop with your sorry and search what dress you would like to wear today"

From that day everything just went happier and better for every
