Day 3 isolation
I had stayed in bed for nearly 3 days now , not going to classes at all .
I couldn't be bothered to sit there and listen to some teacher talk about shit I don't care about.
I also didn't want to see anyone especially Mattheo.

Sylvia knew something was wrong and had asked what happened when I left the hall .
But I refused to tell anyone .
I just insisted that I wasn't feeling well.
I told Sylvia to dorm with Pansy for a few days so I can have my own space for a bit .
She thought it was weird but agreed .

I was sat by my window watching the rain come down on the black lake.
I heard a knock on my door and ignored it staying quiet.
"Y/n please let me in I know your in there" it was Mattheo.
I was so angry but also crushed .
I still refused to speak to him.
"Look I'm a shitty person ok! You were right about me I'm just like my father!" I bite the inside of my cheek listening to him .

God I wished he would go away and fall down some ditch or something.
It made me more angry hearing him agreeing with me .
But I think I was just mad at everything that came out that boys mouth.
"Look what I'm trying to say is I'm sorry!" That's when I rushed to the other side of the door.
I put my ear to the door he was stood right outside doing the same thing I was doing.
"Y/n?" I gulped he knew I was near the door now.

"Y/n I'm sorry!" He says forcefully.
I shake my head and I feel the anger boiling up ready to explode.
"Don't say something you don't mean!" I shout . I won't let him hurt me ever again ever!
I didn't even know why I cared what he thought anyway.
"I do mean it please open the door!" I hear him tap the door with his hand.
"No you fucking don't! And even if you did I wouldn't care I don't want to hear your bullshit excuses or your bullshit apology because I don't care for what you have to say I don't care about your opinion I never did!"
There was a pause and I heard him shuffle closer to the door.

"Open the fucking door Carter!" He hits the door begging me to let him in
I jump slightly at the noise.
"You were right you know" I say laughing .
"What about" he asks curiously.
"That the only reason I ever came here was to kill you maybe I didn't succeed with that but I will find out what fucked up shit your doing and destroy you I'll have you wishing that I'd killed you that night!" Y/n said this very carmly which made Mattheo believe her.

"Open the door or I'll kick it open" he threatened.
Y/n knew he was bluffing.
"Go ahead I won't be here when you do" I laugh as I walk over to my bed.
"For fuck sake I'll talk to you when you decide you want to actually be apart of Society again!" He storms off.
Leaving Y/n smirking as she knew he would never knock down her door.
She was going to find out why Mattheo was here and hurt him like he hurt her.

She knew what would fuck him up and mess with his head .
What would make him hate her what would make him so angry he would probably kill.

Y/n got up got changed and headed down to the great hall.
Mattheo instantly looked at her when she entered the hall.
She smirked as she walked over to the griffindoor table.
"Hey Harry can I sit?" The boy looked highly confused but nodded.
"You see my friend over there" I point towards Mattheo.
Mattheo was glaring at me if looks could kill-.
Harry nodded still really confused.

"He's up to something and I want your help to find out what it is" I rest my chin on my hand as I look at the boy.
"You in or?"
"Yeh we're in" Hermione speaks for Harry .
"Good meet me tomorrow night? Outside the old astrology classroom at 9 so we can talk" I smile at the trio and walk towards the slytherin table.
"Harry you've been saying how you don't trust Riddle and that you want to know why he's here she just offered to help so we'll talk to her in a second and make sure she's absolutely on our side" Hermione makes a valid point the trio tried to follow Riddle but it never worked considering Riddle was too smart and he had a advantage he was in a different house and different classes .

"Why the fuck were you talking to him!" Mattheo looked up at Y/n .
"Yeh why were you?" Pansy looked kinda grossed out.
"New project I'm partnered up with Harry for our animal studies project" I smirk as I sit next to Pansy.

As all my friends chatted I just stared at Mattheo with a smirk.
He couldn't take his eyes off me either he looked really angry.
"Theo there you are!" Tabitha joins us and sits next to Mattheo.
I don't even acknowledge her I just still stare into Mattheo's soul.
I could tell i was making him uncomfortable and nervous with my dead panned face and evil smile.
"Y/n I'm so glad you finally came out of your isolation! , I can't blame you I'd be upset too if I walked in on me and my little Theo" Tabitha tried to get my attention.

Everyone round the table looked at me wondering if that was the reason I was avoiding classes and people in general.
I didn't respond I just kept my eyes on Mattheo.
"Y/n can we talk to you for a sec" Harry , Ron and Hermione came up to the table breaking the awkward silence between our group.
"Sure about the project?" I smirk more as I get up from the table.

We all walk out and go outside and find a spot where no one was .
"So um we're a bit confused why you came up to us today? Aren't you friends with Riddle?" Hermione questions suspiciously.
I let out a laugh "no of course not his father killed my parents and he watched . He's up to something and I want you to be two steps ahead" I look towards Harry as I say this.

"Whatever HES up too has probably got something to do with you and I like you Harry I really do so I thought hey?! Maybe I should help you so you don't get killed!" I explain my motive.
"Also I'm in a house and friendship group and some classes with him so it will be easy to follow him around , we meet once a week and discuss what we think he's been doing" I suggest to the trio .

"Bloody hell your actually kinda scary you know" The red haired boy pointed out .
I smiled at him "I can when I want to be" I raise my brows at the boy .
"Ok we're in!" Harry finally agrees with the plan .
"Good I'll see you guys on Thursday night?" which was two days away there was no point in meeting tomorrow night as well hasn't had a chance to follow Mattheo yet.
"Yeh at the black lake every Thursday at 9" Hermione demands .
"Yes sir" I salute her and walk off.
