After dinner
Y/n Carter was the first to arrive at the detention and honestly she thought she'd be the only one to turn up .
She doubted that Riddle would turn up why would he?
But boy was she wrong .

Mattheo Riddle POV!

I was so fucking pissed how dare that bitch slap me and speak to me so foul she clearly didn't know who she was dealing with.
one little word to my father and I could get her and her family killed just like that.

I was also missing the back to school party because this stupid after hours detention which made me even more annoyed .

I walked in to see Slughorn at his desk and Y/n sat at the front .

"Finally you turned up Mattheo please sit here" he pointed one seat down from Y/n .

I rolled my eyes not having the energy to argue with this old man.
"I've got a meeting to go to so stay here until I'm back I will know if you've left early so don't even try it" Slughorn narrowed his eyes at us both and hurried out the door.

"So Carter you miss me?" I said smirking .
I might as well annoy her I have nothing better to do plus it's very entertaining.
She didn't respond which made me angry why is she ignoring me??!!!

"Hello Y/n I'm talking to you , did you miss me?" I say again louder this time .
She still didn't respond .
So I grabbed her from her seat and pushed her up against the wall .
Blocking her in .
"Answer me then?"
"No Riddle I didn't miss you I actually think your a waste of space" she said folding her arms in front of her chest .

"Aren't you kind ,let's just get on with are fucking project might as well I'm going to have to spend time with you anyway" I say walking back to my desk putting my feet up while I smoke a cigarette.

"I was thinking we could do the moon cycle potion I've heard it's going to be a full moon soon which would help" I say not even looking toward her .

Y/N CARTER POV-

"The moon cycle potion is hard to do most 7th year students can't even do it?" I say still stood up against the wall he had just shoved me against earlier.

"Yeh well I'm no stupid 7th year am I?" He says blowing smoked out of his mouth .

The moon cycle potion required a full moon cycle to be active.
It had to be done at night (most nights)
It was essentially recording the moon cycle the potion replicates it and when the moon cycle is finished the potion can replay the cycle almost like an illusion .
It can go wrong and is pretty useless it mostly just to look cool but muggles just use a projector to see this sort of stuff .
But it would give us a good grade if it goes to plan.

" that means I'll have to spend nights with you and why the hell would I want to do that ,I can't stand you in the day time let alone at night when I'm tired and irritable" I say now sitting on top of one of the desks in front of him.

"Well I don't sleep so we are doing the moon cycle" he said putting his cigarette out on the desk .

"And why's that? Why don't you sleep? I asked curious at what he was up too.

"My room is next to Theodore Notts room you can guess the rest" he said smirking.

"Ok fine moon cycle it is then" I said not really caring to fight him on this.

15mins later .

He lit up another cigarette.

"Do you ever stop smoking" I say annoyed at the horrid smell.

"Don't be bitter if you want some all you have to do is ask" he said inhaling .

"I'm ok thanks I don't smoke" I said rolling my eyes .

He the pulled me by the back of my thighs towards him , I was still sat on the desk but now he was between my legs .

He inhales quickly and grabs me by my neck and blows the smoke into my mouth.
"Inhale" that's all he said .
I accidentally did as I took in a deep breath when he grabbed me .
I didn't cough or anything it wasn't my first time smoking .
"Good girl" he said now leaning back on his chair still in between my legs .

"Fuck off" I said getting up off the table and walking to the back of the class room to explore the potion ingredients stacked up.

MATTHEO RIDDLE POV-
I was just teasing her , most girls couldn't resist me they always gave in even if they hated me they would soon be begging me to fuck them. But she didn't she seemed genuinely fucking disgusted by my presence.

Which made me want to tease her even more I don't know what it was about her but I hated her , I didn't even know her but I disliked that she was here and that she was part of my friend group if I can even call them twats my friends I liked being alone I only used people like Malfoy or pansy when I actually wanted company or something.

I didn't trust anyone but especially her she gave me a weird sense of vulnerability? She made me feel Vulnerable no one can make me feel that way ,she challenged me no one does that to me no one.

I also couldn't read her which made me despise her more ,I didn't know if she was a Occlumens or what but I couldn't read her thoughts which made me feel vulnerable not knowing her darkest deepest desires.
