Gerald and Aphrodite had fallen in love with each other all over again. After they had forgiven each other for their transgressions, whether they were intentional or not, they had fallen in love.

With Aphrodite at his side, Gerald had felt invincible. There was nothing that could stand against him with her at his side. Ciri had not gotten her throne back, but she was satisfied with that as her life.

Instead, she had spent her time with both Geralt and Aphrodite.

Eventually, Geralt and Aphrodite had both decided to live a mundane life.

Geralt had gone on a hunt about two months ago, and he had not returned yet. Even though the two were living the way that anyone else would, that did not mean that he stopped being a Witcher.

This was a part of his blood, it was a huge part of his lifestyle, and he could not give it up. Aphrodite had understood that, since she could not give up helping people using her powers.

It was a part of their nature.

"Thank you for coming by, I hope your son gets better," Aphrodite spoke to a local woman.

Her son has been sick for some time now, and the woman came to Aphrodite for help. Luckily, Aphrodite knew how to help the child, and luckily the treatment was successful.

What Aphrodite did not know, was that the man she loved was on his way home. It was meant to be a surprise, and he was almost at the place that they had lived. He could see the top of that house, and that had filled his heart with joy.

When Geralt had come home, he had seen that the woman that he loves is sitting in one place, reading something. There was something so alluring about Aphrodite, and Geralt had blamed this all on destiny.

Then, he had leaned himself against the front of the door, looking at the woman that the loves, and spoke,

"So, there's no welcome for me?" Geralt spoke teasingly.

Aphrodite and turned her head around slowly, as though she believed that what was happening was a dream. It had been so long, the two had not been apart for this long since she was taken away from Geralt.

Then, she slowly approached him, she had then went to go touch his arm should realize that he was real.

Aphrodite had then thrown away all caution to the wind, and she leaned up and kissed the man that she loved, longing for his touch for so long.
