It had been years after what Renfri had told him, and he had found princess Cirilla or Ciri, as she was now called. Though, the other part of what Renfri had said had not come to light yet.

Geralt was beginning to lose hope in what Renfri had said during her last breath. There was not a sign of Aphrodite, and he had already begun to lose hope in finding her.

They had been joined by Jaskier the bard, and by Yennefer of Vengerberg. Even though Gerlad and Yennefer had a past, they had moved on from it.

After him breaking Yennefer's trust, she would no longer be able to maintain a relationship with him. They had then decided to remain as friends, and he had then told her about Aphrodite, the love of his life.

Yennefer had understood and had then continued to begin to look for the love of her life as the four had continued their adventures.

Jaskier was being particularly annoying today. He had continued to sing, and it was annoying Geralt to no extent. He could not handle it, and he was beginning to get him more frustrated than before. Usually, Cirilla had always enjoyed what he played, but she was asleep at the moment.

The group had decided to rest for some time and then continue. They had no particular destination in mind, and they had just followed the path that destiny had laid out for them.

"Shut the hell up before I break that stupid Lute!" Geralt had said out of anger.

Jaskier had ignored him and continued to play the tunes that he was playing while singing a song and attempting to come up with new tales to sing about.

Then, Ciri had woken up with a start. Yennefer had rushed to her since the girl looked as though she was traumatized by what she had seen. Then, while ignoring Jaskier, he had followed Yennefer to Ciri and he had held Ciri's face in his hands.

"What was that?" Yennefer spoke behind Geralt.

She knew that he needs to comfort Ciri, and she had thus given them some form of distance.

"I saw her again," Ciri spoke.

Jaskier, Yennefer, and Geralt did not know that Ciri had dreams about Aphrodite. Ciri was usually able to hide anything about her dream with Aphrodite, the ones which had started since the day that she had met Geralt.

"Who did you see?" Geralt asked.

He was always gentle around Ciri, and he had the oath to protect her at all costs.

"I saw Aphrodite," Ciri replied.

Geralt's eyes had widened, and he had taken a step away from the girl. His mind was not able to comprehend that the girl that he had to protect was having dreams about the girl who was his first love.

"I have been having dreams about her since the day that Geralt and I met," Ciri added on.

It had now been thus revealed that she had been having dreams about Aphrodite for a very long time.

"Why did you not tell us about this?" Yennefer had asked Ciri.

The girl in question had begun to play with the sleeves of her cloak, not wanting to answer the question that Yennefer had asked.

"They were not so bad before," Ciri had replied shyly.

Then Geralt had looked at Ciri with his back still turned to her and he had asked,

"What was this one about?" Geralt asked, and his tone stated that she had to answer his question.

"She is living in a cottage in the woods, and she called out to me," Ciri said.
