~2 years later~

The darkness of the night that fell over the city and the sound of the loud traffic jam just down the street didn't stop Lisa from being stuck deep inside her thoughts. Following the slow movements of a passing by plane, its blinking light putting her brown eyes into a trance, Lisa stood at her favorite place in form of a lounge chair on her huge apartment balcony with a glass of the already so familiar to her taste buds red wine in hand and let herself be eaten by the feeling she already got so used to feeling throughout the years - longing.

Longing for her lost father, longing for her mother, who also passed away just a few months after her beloved husband. Poor woman's heart couldn't hold all the sadness and pressure put on it, all the sudden emotions that it was put through and eventually, after weeks of fighting for her life, in the same room, same bed as her one and only man, eventually someone up there decided to save her from the misery and torture.

But the person Lisa missed the most, the person that her heart called for every day, the person her hands searched for every morning on the other side of the empty bed, was the one that was with her throughout all those bad times, her anchor, her pillar. The one that changed her life forever.

Lisa was pulled back in consciousness after a series of loud knocks on the glass of her apartment window caught her attention. She turned around and noticed Jisoo walking towards her with a smile on her lips. She settled on the lounge chair next to her, but her smile faltered when she noticed her friend's sad expression.

"Are you sulking about her again? Will you stop already?" Jisoo asked and rolled her eyes on her friend and as on tradition poured some of the wine in a glass.

"I just...miss her" Lisa sighed and cupped her cheek with her elbow propped up on the arm rest.

"Yeah, I've been hearing that a lot lately. Just get over it already, will you? It's not the end of the world"

"But it's the end of mine. It's so hard not having her around, in my arms, next to me, but I always have her in my thoughts. I miss her voice, her smile, everything of her" Lisa explained sadly as she kept staring at the distance, at the nothing in front of her.

"Gosh, you are so whipped. You love her so much, don't you?" Jisoo asked and took a sip of the red liquid as she eyed the blonde woman next to her.

Lisa just nodded her head. "I do, of course. And it breaks my heart that she's 9 000 fucking kilometers away from me now" Lisa gulped the rest of her drink in one go and poured a new one, trying to drink away the pain she felt in her heart. Jisoo just laughed softy at her.

Lisa groaned in response and threw her hands in a childish manner. "Stop laughing me. I miss her. It's been so long since I last saw her" she made a crying face which only let to Jisoo laughing harder at her friend.

"Will you finally stop your dramatic ass? As I said, it's not the end of the world. You haven't seen her in a week. Your flight to Paris is tomorrow, you'll see and hug her again, or whatever else you two plan to do. You act as if you haven't seen her in years or as if she ran away with her secret lover or something. Gosh, you are unbelievable" Jisoo shook her head at her whining friend.

Lisa and Jennie lived together in Seoul since they officially started their relationship. A few months later, Lisa found out she had to fly over to Paris again for another business matter. The moment she stepped her foot on French land, her head was hit with the constant stream of memories flooding her mind. It was the place where she spent one of the best days in her life and where she found the thing, or more like the person, who kept them going for a long time more. It was the place where she found her other half.

Lisa flew back to Seoul a few days later and couldn't stop herself from telling Jennie every detail of her trip. That was when Jennie shared with her for the first time that one of her dreams had always been to live in that beautiful city, to wander around the parisian roads, shop from the small boutiques that aligned the streets, drink her morning dose of coffee at her favorite little café and be surrounded by the amazing atmosphere of the place.

Lisa always made sure to listen to whatever she had to say, took all the information in and remember the small details people would usually not pay much attention to. She fell in love with her even more every time she talked excitedly about her dreams, what she saw when she was walking back home from work or when she just told Lisa how her day went. Every time she heard her beautiful laugh and saw the gummy smile painted on her lips, Lisa knew she needed that in her life forever.

She wanted to make her girl happy and she was ready to swim oceans and climb mountains just to achieve that. She wished she could pack their bags and just lead them to Paris, buy the best apartment in the city and live a happily ever after with her. Sadly, not all dreams could become reality.

They couldn't leave their own company businesses, everything they had work hard for, and give themselves to a life on another continent. At least not yet. They were still young, too inexperienced and with too much responsibility on their shoulders. They were just starting with the actual life. They need to work their way to happy and peaceful life once they grow old. But Lisa made sure to keep the idea on the back of her mind, determined that one day, no matter what, she would make Jennie's dream come true.

For now, all she could do was to book them a short vacation in the city of love, in the same hotel their love story gave its start. Sadly for Lisa, just before the day of the flight, she was notified that she had an urgent matter to take care of in the company and she had to stay for a few days more. So instead, she made Jennie go alone and not waste the precious time of their vacation while Lisa took care of everything alone.

Surprisingly for both of them, one Jennie Jennie accidentally stumbled upon a high school friend of hers. She told Lisa that they both hung out together and caught up for the lost time. Even tho Lisa wished she was the one Jennie was spending her time with now, she was also happy that she had a company in someone she already knew.

With both their companies growing drastically for the past 2 years, many new responsibilities came along and much more work had to be done. 'Ruby Kim' was now one of the most popular fragrance brands in whole Korea, gaining millions of new customers every few month. MNB Corp. still thrived as the biggest and most successful company in Korea and Lisa made sure to to work tirelessly for the best results and no disappoint her parents and everyone that looked up to her.

One sunny day, she and Jennie stood on the balcony of the penthouse and accidentally opened the topic about the media and Korea and how they twisted everything in a way that was always beneficial only for them. Lisa's imagine in Korea had always been painted badly and some times pushed away potential investors and people who had a desire to work with her.

She was nothing alike the woman put in the news and articles, and she wished they would be able to see the real her. So Lisa took it upon herself to change that. She made sure she thanked and greeted every employee and staff, donated to more charity and foundation and personality attended many different fund raisings without trying to make it a top secret as before.

For the next few months, it felt like her life took a 180 once again. Everyone treated and looked at her differently, in a better way than before. They saw her in a new light that was never seen before in her, as a bright and generous person and not as a cold and heartless one.

Even Lisa herself felt better both physically and mentally. She wondered where did this desire to plant a different image of herself in the nation's eyes came from. After the cleary visible in her change, many articles and news sited reported that it was all thanks to Jennie and the happy and healthy relationship she had together with loss. She turned the devil into an angel. And Jennie really did. Lisa knew it. This woman showed the world to her in a different perspective in so many occasions, brought up the best in her and simply made her dull life get its color back.

Happiness. That all Lisa felt for the past 2 years, every time she woke up next to her after an intense night session, every time she kissed and hugged her from behind, every time they talked aimlessly for hours, every time they drank their morning coffee together, after every 'I love you'. She couldn't believe that so much of her happiness was fit into such small woman. She adored every part of her and the feeling was mutual between them. She wanted this, and her, for the rest of her days. That's why she was already planning the next step in their lifes.

"So, you bought the ring already?" Jisoo suddenly asked after a few minutes of silence between them.

"Yeah, I did. Not only she has dreams for Paris. I've always wanted to propose to her there, where we first met. Do you think she'll say yes?" Lisa asked as she twirled the wine in her glass.

"Of course she will. Have you seen the huge heart eyes she makes every time she sees you? That bitch is whipped as fuck, I tell you. She may say yes even before you ask her the question" Jisoo quickly answered which made both of them laugh.

"I hope you are right" A smile took over Lisa's lips just by the thought of living the rest of her life with her woman.

"Anyways, let's not talk about this because I'm already panicked enough". They laughed again.

"How are you and Rosé doing? How's baby Luca?"

Jisoo and Chaeyoung decided to finally start a family together after the first year of their wedding. They settled for an adoption and ended up with a little blue eyed baby boy called Luca. It was the cutest creature they had laid their eyes on. He was so small, his whole hand was as big as Lisa's pinky finger alone which he loved to hold every time she went to visit.

He was such an angel and made Lisa wonder if one day she and Jennie would get to the point where they would have an angel like him to bless their days. She dreamed of spending her life together with her and both of them raising their own child. She hoped soon that would come true.

"They both are fine. All he does is to sleep, eat, poop and cry, but I still love that fluffball" Even tho Jisoo constantly complained about how he didn't let them sleep at night and how he always puked on her and never on Rosé, Lisa could see it in her eyes how much she loved the little guy.

"I'm glad. Hopefully, one day when me and Jennie have our own kid, they would be best buddies, just like us" they gave each other a fist bump and continued with their night and they talked about whatever came to their mind.

The next morning came unexpectedly fast and Lisa found herself sitting in her hard plane seat, waiting to land in Paris every minute now. She told Jennie she would go one of these days, but she never told her exactly which one so she could give her a pleasant surprise. Lisa couldn't wait until she could have her woman in her arms once again. A week seemes so long without her face, voice and touch even tho they face timed almost every day. It was a totally different feeling when she was right in front of her, right at the tip of her fingers.

She heard the pilot finally announcing their arrival through the speakers in the plane. Few minutes later she was already walking out of the airport and climbing into a taxi as she headed towards their hotel.

Lisa touched the bump in her pocket. The box with the wedding ring was there, waiting impatiently to be put on Jennie's finger in a few hours. Lisa was nervous about all that. She wanted it to be perfect, special, memorable. She wanted this be left as a beautiful memory for both of them which they would cherish till their last breath together. So she couldn't mess anything up. Everything was already settled, including their reservation in the restaurant. Nothing could go wrong. She hoped.

Once she arrived at the same hotel they stayed at 2 years ago, Lisa walked straight to their room—the one she used back then and that kept so much of their memories. Knocking at the door, she readied herself to be met with the face of her goddess. She tapped her fingers on her tight impatiently. She heard steps from the inside approaching the door. She put a big smile on her face and was ready to open her arms and take Jennie into a strong hug, but things didn't go as planned. Her smile fell down immediately as she saw a man she didn't know opening her door.

'Who the hell is that?' she though.

"Umm, hi?" he questionably said when he saw the unfamiliar woman standing at the door.

"Hi, is Jennie here?" Lisa asked. She didn't like what was happening.

"Yeah, she went to the bathroom just now so I had to open the door for her. Are you her friend? I don't know if it's appropriate to invite y-" she cut the guy off as she passed by him and walked inside.

"A friend? Hah, you wish" she she got into the living room she turned around to face him again. "Who are you exactly?" she eyed him suspiciously.

"Umm, I'm-" he was cut again as a sound of a door opening was heard.

"Kai, did someone come? I think I heard-" Jennie stopped dead in her tracks at the sight of her girlfriend standing in the middle of the room, face to face with an unfamiliar man.

They stared for a few seconds without saying a word. The shock from Lisa's arrival was evident on Jennie's face. A very unpleasant scenario went through the blonde's head at that moment. Was Jennie cheating on her with this guy? Why would she?

Before Lisa could mess up her mind evem more, Jennie jumped on her and locked her arms around her neck in a strong hug. Lisa hugged her by the waist and pulled her closer as all her doubts flew out of the window. She wouldn't have reacted like that of she was cheating, she knew Jennie too well already.

"Oh my God, Lisa. What are you doing here? Weren't you coming in a few days?" Jennie excitedly said and pulled away to lock their lips together in a passionate kiss. Oh, how Lisa missed those lips. They kissed, not even minding the presence of Kai a few meters away from them, who stood a little awkward and confused.

Once they pulled away, Lisa finally had the chance to speak. "Well, it wouldn't be a surprise if you knew I was coming" they laughed.

"I missed you do much" Jennie cutely pouted and gave get girlfriend a quick peck. She turned toward Kai when she remembered he was there.

"Um, oh. Lis, I believe you already met Kai. He's the friend from university I told you about. He's also Korean, but he lives here" Jennie introduced him. "And Kai, that's Lisa, my girlfriend" she turned to Kai introduced Lisa also.

"Ah, nice to finally meet you, Lisa. Jennie had been filling my head with you for the past few days" he laughed.

"Nice to meet you too, Kai" they shook their hands and smiled at each other.

"Sorry for the not so warm welcome earlier. I just didn't know who were you" Kai apologized.

"It's okay, don't worry. But-" Lisa turned to look at Jennie "-I think i will steal her from you for tonight. Is that alright?" she said as she looked in her beautiful eyes with a small loving smile on her lips.

"Um, yeah, of course. I'll go now and give you some space to see each other. Bye, Jen. I'm glad we met again"

Kai understandably said and got ready to leave. Once she sent him away a few minutes later, Jennie went back to Lisa, who was now sitting down on the couch, her blazer off, sleeves rolled up to her elbows and her head thrown back at the back rest. Her eyes were closed and her hands layed loosely on both her sides. Jennie found all that extremely hot for some reason. She walked towards her and observed Lisa carefully. The desire for the blonde slowly rose in her body. She truly missed their wild nights together.

Jennie suddenly straddled her lap once she reached her, but Lisa didn't mind that at all. She just held her waist as Jennie's hands ran from her stomach up to her chest and neck and back down seductively and leaned closer to Lisa's ear.

"Are you tired, baby?" she whispered and massaged her shoulder slowly, making Lisa groan as she got aroused immediately.

"I'm still a little jetlaged, yeah" the blonde said quietly. Jennie trailed soft slow kisses from her collarbone all the way up to her jawline until she reached her lips and locked them in a passionate kiss.

"Then let me help you relax"

Their kiss got even more heated as Jennie locked her hands around her heck while Lisa pulled her as close as possible by the waist. The desire between them filled the dimly lit hotel room. Lisa knew what her girlfriend wanted the moment she felt her slowly grinding on her, but they would have to leave it for later. Lisa pulled away from the hot kiss and glued their foreheads together as they caught their breath.

"As much i would love you fuck you in every corner of this room right now, I've already made different plans for us tonight" she whispered against her lips.

"What plans?" she asked.

"You'll see later. First, we are gonna get some dinner together so go get ready" Lisa said and patted her ass softly a few times before they both got up.

After dressing up in a more presentable attire, they left the hotel towards the Eiffel tower which was the place where they first met. Lisa had already planned everything in her head, but the nerves she felt throughout the whole time could easily ruin it. She just prayed for the best.

The moment Jennie saw the tower, the smile on her face quickly appeared just as the questions in her head. She has always wanted to go there, but $250 for a meal were a little too much for a broke college student before. But now, she had Lisa who was ready to pay that absurd amount just to make her happy and make one more of her wishes come true.

The night went by magically and the best part hadn't even came yet. They enjoyed the delicious food and each other's company with funny conversations and much laughter. Throughout that night Lisa fell in love with Jennie even harder than before every time she looked in her eyes, her smile and just her as a whole.

The thought of marrying the woman in front of her looked even better and more tempting with every second she spent not asking the important question. The thought of living her life with Jennie by her side defeated all the nerves she had and exchanged it for the confidence she needed. It was now or never.

After they finished the delicious dinner, they proceeded towards the very top of the tower. Since this was a very special night for both of them, Lisa felt like being watched by a crowd of tourists while they had their moment would be a little too inappropriate so she rented the whole top place just for the two of them. She felt like proposing to someone in the middle of a crowd was practically pressuring and forcing them to say 'yes', she decided that she had to do something for that matter.

This didn't go unnoticed by Jennie tho. Why would the eiffel tower—one of the biggest tourist attractions in Paris—be completely empty? It didn't make sense to her. If it was closed for some reason, why were they allowed to go? She threw those thoughts away when she felt Lisa backhugging her.

Lisa's warm hands held her already cold ones and learned her head on Jennie's shoulder. Together they started at the beautiful night scenery
