DORA'S POV:

I was excited to comeback to New York. Getting out of the flight, I smiled thinking it good to be back. When I leave New York I'll be Mrs.Aiden.

"Why is there no one to receive the bride?" I grumbled while entering the car which a bodyguard pointed.

"What bride? You are just a little brat" Kevin said which startled me.

I looked up to see Kevin in the driving seat. Damn.

"I am honoured to be picked up by the great Kevin" I said to butter him up.

" Whatever brat, I send you to California to learn business but you found a man to marry" Kevin said and sneered.

"You can't blame me, nobody knows when they'll fall in love. I just fell in love with Aiden, unlike someone who is going to be 28 soon yet they are single" I said to mock him but I didn't even get a response.

"When will Isaac and Aiden will come?" Kevin asked.

"Day after tomorrow" I said and texted Aiden that I've landed safely.

"So I've heard you personally let a traitor inside your company just for food" Kevin said with a laugh.

I was surprised. Who the hell told him? Are they out to embarrass me?

"It was not the food okay, he said his name was Ivan, I got emotional and gave him a job in my company, turned out he was just an intern in Aiden's company who intentionally crossed path with me so that he could join my company and ruin my business" I said with an awkward laugh.

"Dumb woman, you are not fit to the business world" Kevin said bluntly.

"Hey... I've learnt my lesson. I'll be more careful in the future okay?" I mumbled.

"Still, you are going to marry Aiden who is Isaac's competitor" Kevin pointed out.

"Business is different from life okay" I defended.

"Whatever brat" Kevin said and focused on driving.

When we reached the mansion, I got the car and was about to enter the house.

"Why are you not getting down?" I asked looking at Kevin who was still in the car.

"Unlike someone I am busy and I don't have an Isaac to help me, I have to get back to office" he said and drove off before I could enter the home.

I rang the bell, the door opened but no one was there and the room was dark.

As soon as I stepped inside, the light turned on and I was taken back.

"Surprise" Keziah shouted and burst a popper.

The living room was decorated for bridal party and few of my girlfriends were there including Ashley.

"I thought we were going to plan my bridal party?" I questioned Keziah.

"Nah.... What's fun in that? Now go get changed" she said and gave me a box.

With that I went to my room to get ready. This better be a good outfit.

When I wore it, I realised why Keziah was a top designer. Damn... This looks good.

I opened my bedroom door and was about to step out but Keziah pushed me in.

"This is my friend Lara who'll be doing your makeup today" she said and pushed a girl inside.

After half an hour, I came out of my room.

"Not that great, but it's okay" Keziah said to which I wanted to hit her. I am not a runaway model to give justification for the dress okay.

Keziah placed a flower crown and a bride to be sash on me. I hope I don't look funny.

"Okay we have prepared some fun games for today, so bride-to-be can you please take your seat infront of the projector" Keziah said in the microphone.

" Why are you using a microphone when all of us can hear you clearly? Moreover there are only 6 to 7 people here" I questioned.

"Tch.... It sets up the mood okay" she defended.

"Okay let's start with the first game, Bride or groom... In this round the bride is not allowed to speak she has a board which has bride and groom pictures on different sides. I'll ask you ten questions, just show whether it's bride or groom, okay?" Keziah said.

I nodded.

"Who made the first move?"

"Groom"

"Who is the best driver?"

"Bride"

"Who usually gives gifts?"

"Groom"

"Who usually fights a lot?"

"Groom"

"Who is more romantic?"

"Bride"

"Who is the first to talk after a fight?"

"Groom"

"Who is the pickiest eater?"

"Groom"

"Who stays up late?"

"Bride"

"Who is clumsier?"

"Bride"

"Who is more adventurous?"

"Groom"

"Alright, that's all for round one, the best part of this game is I've already asked these questions to Aiden and he answered it. Do you want to find to how many questions you both said the same answer?" Keziah asked.

I nodded in surprise. They asked it to him? I bet I'll get all the ten answers right.

"You guys got seven right. He said he is the best driver not you, he said you are the one to fight a lot, not him and finally he said he is the most romantic, anyway you got 7 right, let's give a round of applause for it" Keziah said and everyone clapped. I am the one who fights a lot? I'll deal with him later.

"Okay, now it's a game for the guests which you all are well aware of, 'Cold feet', it's easy, all you have to do is pull as many as rings possible with your toes in one minute, bring in the buckets" Keziah said and all the six ladies got ready.

Six buckets were placed, as soon as Keziah signalled everyone stood inside the buckets and concentrated on getting the rings. That looks fun. I know all the ladies except one.

I pulled Keziah aside and asked about her.

"Ohh... she is the one who poisoned you" Keziah said casually. This girl is out of her mind to bring her here.

"What? Why is she here? How did you know she is the one who poisoned me?" I asked quietly.

"Kevin found it, she is staying with him. I don't know what is happening. Who knows she can turn into Mrs.Alexander in the future" Keziah said and went back to the girls.

Someone who tried to kill me will become my sister in law? I'll be damned. I'll never let it happen.

I squinted look at the girl who won and sighed. Why did she win? Someone who tried to kill me should not win.

She better not ruin my day.
