AIDEN'S POV:

Entering Knights Corporation, I entered the elevator while greeting the employees enthusiastically. I realise that marriage had made me happier.

When I walked into my wives room, I saw her walking around her room with a file nervously.

"What happened? Why are you nervous?" I asked stopping her.

"I told about an amazing business idea to Isaac, but that doofus wanted me to present in front of the shareholders and he said if they don't approve he'll not accept my idea" she said with a frown.

"Baby, don't worry it'll be fine. If he rejects it I'll invest and we can do that business under Adams industries" I said trying to comfort her.

"Ohhh... Please I don't need an investment. I want it to become a business under Knights Corporation and prove Isaac that I can help in developing the company" she said and looked at the files again.

Taking away her file, I lifted her and made her sit on the table.

"You are not giving importance to your poor husband who spent his honeymoon in concert, fan meet and all those things" I said and kissed her on the lips.

"I think our honeymoon was wonderful" she said and hugged me closer to her.

Standing inbetween her legs I kissed her neck while she tried to push me.

"Hey, I have a meeting to attend soon" she said but still tilted her head to give me better access.

"So do I, you don't see me making a fuss" I said and pinched her cheeks.

Lifting her up, I sat on her chair and placed her on my lap.

"So, tell me about your idea" I asked and looked at her newly added photo frame on her table.

It was the one which she took with the BTS members, She could have added our wedding picture too.

"So, listen we have different apps for food, clothes and other things, but what if we bring everything in one app anything and everything you need in one tap, be it a street snack or a luxury bag from a big brand, you can get it quickly" she said all the while playing with my tie. Her idea is good but I don't know whether it'll be successful since there are already many applications available.

"Okay, what's different in your app compared to other apps?" I questioned her.

"That's the thing, we don't list the things or services available but instead the user tells us what they want and we provide us, it may be a bike for rent or a helicopter" she said while I was in a daze looking at her face. I love how she lights up when she talks about the thing she loves.

"What if the app doesn't get popular?" I asked.

"That is not possible, in this quick moving world people need things fast and easy. So we just give them that" she said.

"That's an amazing idea baby. They'll definitely approve of your idea" I said and hugged her.

"If Isaac doesn't approve, I'll start it under your company and make him regret rejecting such an amazing business idea" she said while clenching her hand.

While we were talking, we heard the door knock. Probably the lunch I ordered.

When Hailey brought in our lunch, she was surprised to see how her boss was sitting on my lap.

Receiving the lunch, my wife thanked her and told her to get ready for the meeting.

I sat on the sofa and started to eat.

When her mobile rang, she was busy eating so I took the call.

"Hello" I said.

"What the hell Aiden? Don't you have a company to run?" he asked.

"I do but I can't ignore my wife for work" I replied cheekily.

"Whatever, I need to talk to her" he said and I held the phone to her ear.

After hearing them talk, I realised Isaac wants my wife to go and bring a file from his home, and to my surprise she said okay.

"Can you take me? I am not in the mood to drive" she said.

"Ofcourse, anything for my wife" I said and pinched her cheeks.

Later, we both went to the penthouse.

Dropping her off at the entrance, I went to park my car.

In the parking lot, I met a neighbour and talked to him for a while.

When I reached Isaac's penthouse, I saw my wife standing in front of a room surrounded by four bodyguards aiming a gun at a person who was holding a gun at my wife.

Running in, I pushed my wife behind me and stood infront of her and looked at the person who was covered fully except for his eyes.

"Who are you? What are you doing?" I asked him wearily when I saw him holding a gun.

"Open the safe little girl" he said with a hoarse voice while pointing the gun at my wife.

"If you want valuable things, then you are going to be disappointed, there is nothing but files in it" my wife said and stood behind me. My wife is smart sometimes and dumb sometimes I am not sure about her IQ.

"Naive" that person sneered at my wife. I agree with you bro, but that doesn't mean you can point a gun at her.

"You really think you can kill her?" I asked mockingly.

"Yes, so don't try me, I am not afraid of death you better open the safe" he said to her.

When I was about to refuse, my wife walked towards him.

"What the hell? Come back here" I said while trying to pull her, but that damn person pulled her towards him and pointed his gun at her head.

Taking her to the safe, she entered the passcode, he searched through the files with one hand and the other still holding a gun to my wife.

When I took my gun from my waist, I saw my wife signalling not to shoot with her hand.

After few minutes, he took a file and went to the nearby window.

"Thank you" he said, pushed her on the floor and jumped out with the file.

I rushed to her and lifted her up.

Through the window I saw him running.

"Follow him" I said to the guards but my wife objected.

"Don't" she said and collected the files from the floor and arranged it.

"Why? Baby he tried to kill you" I said in frustration.

"No, he didn't and do you know how much these files are worth? He didn't take these but a research file which is useless" she said while keeping the files in and locking the safe.

"We can't leave it just like that, someone came in even with all these security, atleast we have to know who and why" I said.

"I'll let my people investigate" she said and went to her room.

Dismissing the guards , I made a cup of hot chocolate and went to her room. I am still worried and anxious about her safety.
