AIDEN'S POV

After kissing her, I went to my room and sat on my chair. Gosh... That kiss was too good especially when she kissed back.

When I heard footsteps, I took a file and acted as if I was busy.

My kitten cleared her throat.

I looked up.

I spoke to her professionally just to tease her, but she replied back in the same way. Good kitten... You never cease to amaze me.

I asked her how she handles both jobs, but her answer shocked me. What pissed me off was the fact that Isaac has a hold of every single thing in her life. Fuck.

When she got up to leave, I asked her to drop me off. Come on, I want to spend time with my kitten.

When I lied that my car has some issues, she was not convinced but she accepted to drop me. I don't blame her for not believing... I have 4 cars in the parking lot.

Whole time while riding with her and also during elevator ride to our floor,I was thinking about Isaac's relationship with my kitten. The closeness really ticks me off. And ohh not to mention Vincent Stefano.

We both were silent, till we reached our floor.

"Bye Mr. Adams" she said. Being professional are we? I was just teasing you kitten.

"Bye kitten" I said winked at her and went inside my penthouse.

I freshened up, sat on the sofa and scrolled through my messages.

Douche: Come to my home for dinner ~Knight.

It doesn't feel like an invitation, it feels like an order. Fuck it, I can see my kitten.

I jumped from the sofa, looked myself in the mirror and went to my kitten's penthouse.

I knocked the door and waited impatiently.

My kitten opened the door. She looked beautiful. She was wearing a sweatshirt, sweat pants and a robe on top of it.

"What are you doing here?" my kitten asked. She doesn't wants me here. Well too bad, I wanted to be with her.

"I was invited for dinner" I said pushed her out of my way and entered.

I went, sat on the sofa and looked around. Mhmm... Nothing changed.

Suddenly, Isaac came with a bag and questioned her about those nightwear. Though it looked sexy... I felt jealous that he is buying for my kitten. Calm down Aiden.

My kitten said that it was keziah's gift. Keziah? Oh that delivery girl...

I whistled.

She groaned and pushed a laughing Isaac toward the stairs.

"Can you model me those lingeries kitten?" I asked huskily.

I felt her shuddering. Good I have effects on her.

"In your dreams" she said and scoffed. Well at least I tried.

I followed her to the kitchen, teased her and nibbled her ear.

She shouted Isaac's name. Damn vampire hearing.

"What?" he asked lazily.

She asked him what am I doing here to which Isaac said that I am his friend and he will invite me any time and put his hand on my shoulders. What?

My kitten was pissed, she took her dinner and went to her room, while we looked at her in amusement.

Isaac served himself and gave me a plate too.

We were eating in silence.

"Will she finish all those food which she took?" I asked.

Isaac choked on his tofu,

"Thank God, you didn't ask her that, if you did ask her you will be the one to choke" he said and drank water.

"There was time when I begged her to eat a sandwich, I don't even want to think about those time" Isaac said and shuddered at the thought.

"How was she as a kid?" I asked.

"She was super cute, she was so naughty. There should always be someone with her else, the place will be like it went through a hurricane" Isaac said and smiled at the memory.

"Oh wait I'll show you her pictures after dinner. God,if Amour knows she'll kill me" Isaac said.

"Why would she kill you?" maybe a reason to get rid of Isaac?

"Because, the album I am going to show is her Embarrassing Album" he said.

After eating, Isaac took me to a room. It was his office room. As soon as he opened there was a huge picture of my kitten directly opposite so that whoever enters it will be the first thing they notice.

She was absolutely breathtaking, she was wearing light makeup which is the first time I am seeing her with. I feel little jealous.

Isaac took an album from a locker, came to me, patted my shoulder.

"Don't worry, just remember this I am never a competition, at the same time I am the only way for you to reach her. I will be the one whom she asks for the final say. If I say no then she will say No without hesitation" he said. What is he trying to say? At least I know that he is not a competition.

We both went to the living room and sat. I looked at the room which I noticed when I brought my kitten when she had panic attack. I thought that was Isaac's office room.

"What room is that?" I asked and pointed that room.

Isaac looked at the room,

" That is Amour's office room, it is a room where she spends most of the time rather than her room, I just set it up two days back." he said and showed me the album.

The front of the album had a picture of my kitten when she was a teenager, she was wearing a beanie.

She looks cute.

Isaac opened the first page I couldn't help but chuckle.

I looked at the picture in awe...

"She is the entertainment for both our families, this was when my mom making funny faces" he said and chuckled.

"Your mom? " I asked.

He stiffened.

" Yeah, she more or less grew up in our home, my dad's main job was to take pictures of her. He loved her more than me" he said. Oh my God, Issac's eyes are glossy.

He turned to the next page and chuckled. I laughed looking at the picture.

"This is amour when she took the nutella tub" he said and laughed looking at the picture where my kitten who looks around one, covered with nutella and looking all innocent.
She can melt anyone with that look.

Suddenly,

"You are so dead Isaac" my kitten said and jumped on Isaac. He laughed and held her tight when she tried to snatch the album from me.

Isaac told me to take it with me and bring later, while my kitten was wiggling to get out from his hold.

I said bye, winked at my kitten and left with the album.

I went inside my office, called Zach and told him to meet me within an hour.

I started looking at the pictures,

I laughed when I saw her picture in a bath tub giving weird faces.

Next picture was a cute picture which made me look at with awe. I hope our children looks like her.

When I looked at the last picture, my door bell rang.

I opened and invited Zach in,

"What's up bro?" Zach asked.

I gave him the album, he looked confused.

"I want you to make a copy of this album both soft and hard copy and all the pictures in frames too" I said.

"Let me guess it's Dora's right?" Zach asked.

I nodded.

"Bro, Isaac may be your Ex-best friend but trust me when it comes to her he turns into a beast" Zach said.

"I know that" I said through gritted teeth.

"well OK then, I'll bring it within a week" he said and turned to leave.

I turned him back, held his collar and said,
"This should be confidential, if a single picture goes out, I will forget that you are my cousin and the next family occasion I'll be attending will be your funeral" I said.

Zach looked at me with wide eyes and gulped.

"Sure bro. Don't worry" he said.

I left his collar, he almost ran away.

I sighed and went to my room. I brushed my teeth and jumped on my bed. I dozed off thinking about my kitten.

I woke up around 3, finished by morning routine, ate cereals and headed to Isaac's penthouse.

I rang the bell, Isaac opened it. He looked funny because he was wearing a suit and holding a spatula. I chuckled.

"Haha very funny" Isaac said sarcastically.

I entered, sat on the counter stool while he went to the kitchen.

"Where is she?" I asked.

"Sleeping duh" he said.

"But we have flight at 5 right?" I asked.

He nodded without looking at me.

"How will we reach in time if she sleeps?" I asked confused.

He turned to face me,

"Lift her up, throw her over my shoulder, get inside the car drive to airport, get inside the flight, lay her down and travel" he said.

I laughed.

When I stopped laughing, I saw Isaac standing with a serious face.

"You were not joking?" I asked.

"No, waking her up is so tough. Once I went inside her room to wake her up she threw the nearest object on my face which unfortunately was an alarm clock" Isaac said touched his forehead and winced as if remembering the incident gives him pain.

"I'll go and wake her up" I said.

"Suit yourself" Isaac said and shrugged.

I almost ran to my kitten's room, I opened and went inside. There she was sleeping. She looks beautiful.

I opened the curtains to which she groaned.

"Wakey... Wakey..." I said.

"Go away Isaac" she said and groaned into her pillow.

I tickled her, suddenly she pulled me to the bed hugged me tight and kissed my cheek. Wow... Great. But she thinks that I am Isaac.

"Please Isaac let me sleep" she said and kissed me again.

"Wow, if you kiss me then I can't say no but, we have to go to Paris, so get up" I said in amusement.

She jumped from her bed and screamed looking at me.

"What the hell are you doing here Aiden?" she yelled.

"I came to wake you up we have to reach at four thirty. It's already three thirty" I said and laid on her bed.

"Huh... Fine" she said stomped and went inside the bathroom.

I sighed and looked around the pictures, imagining myself instead of that stupid Isaac.

After around 20 minutes she came out from another door completely dressed. Huh... I thought she will be coming out with a small towel wrapped around her body, but here she is fully dressed.

I looked at her with confusion.

"I know what you expected Aiden, there is a doors which connects my bathroom and closet.

"Dammit" I cursed.

She smirked and went outside.

I laid there for some more time and came out.

I saw her eating spaghetti with meatballs while Isaac handed me coffee and poured himself one.

After she finished eating 2 men carried their luggage to the car. Thank God I have suitcase filled with clothes in my private jet.

We travelled to the airport.

"Only we three are going right?" she asked to Isaac.

"No, my assistant will be joining us. She is waiting at the airport" Isaac said.

"Oh... That new assistant Ashley. Jacob said that she is not like your previous assistant she talented as well as humble" My kitten said.

"Who is Jacob?" I asked to her. I want to know.

"He is my employee" she said and gritted her teeth.

I nodded.

When we reached the private area of airport, I noticed a girl who smiled looking at Isaac but her smile vanished when she saw my kitten who was walking behind him came forward held Isaac's hand and smiled at him. My kitten and Isaac were oblivious to her look.

When we went closer to her, Isaac looked at her and the smile which he had while talking to my kitten vanished. Strange.

"Amour, she is my assistant Miss.Dimitri, and she is Dora and he is Mr. Adams" he introduced.

After handshakes we entered into my private jet.

This trip is going to be fun...
