The door opened even before I rang the door bell. I was greeted by the world's greatest living creature and the love of my life, Soul. Soul is my dog, white Maltese; I bought her when I was here in Korea for my last semester's vacation. She is the most adorable thing that I have met.

I picked her up and she started licking my face and I let her do it since I missed her to. "Did you miss mommy?" I asked her and hugged her tiny body.

"Do you wish to stay by the door or do you have plans of coming inside?" My mom asked me. So rude.

"I just missed her so much eomma."

"Sure. Come inside now my lovely daughter." She said with a smile and pulled me inside. I chuckled and went in.

"Your dad had some people to meet with so he's at the company. Until he comes back let's have some mother-daughter talks." She wriggled her brows as we rested on the couch.

Sometimes my mom forgets that she is now old and acts like teenage girl.

"Firstly, why did you guys tell the media that I am the one who choose to quit my studies for the sake of our company? That is not even a percent true!" I asked and her expressions dropped from the sky to the ground. Well done Y/n you are grounded.

"Y/n we are not having any discussions about that. We have already made things clear to you so start getting used to these stuff." She said. A worker came by and gave me a glass of fresh litchi juice. God how much I love this juice. I smiled at my mom taking the juice.

"You're welcome." She said and we both chuckled.

My phone kept going off while I was playing with Soul so I took a look at it and a smile crept up automatically on my face.

I texted him back;

I'm home and I'm completely fine. Dad's not home yet, so once he's back we'll have lunch. Take care of yourself too. I miss you and love you too. Bye Min Min<3

My mom probably saw me smiling like crazy so started peeking into my phone.

"Mom... come on. It's just Mingyu." I said.

"Ah.... Mingyu. Tell me about him, he's just a friend right?" so the interrogation begins. My mom always knew Mingyu as my friend. Not that my mom would me against me having a boyfriend but the fact that my mom would tell that to my dad and he would ask me "I thought I sent you there to study? This is why I didn't want you to go abroad." That is my typical dad dialogue.

"Why do you ask that all of a sudden?"

The smile that you have on your face just by seeing his message tells me something else."

"Mom, I don't want to talk about it now. I'm really tired. I'll go have a shower and be back." I tried to ignore her best as I speed walked to my room.

"Yeah yeah... you still have to tell me after the shower." She said and walked towards the kitchen.

I took a long hot shower and wore something comfortable. I sat down on the bed for awhile. I called Mingyu and we spoke for a good hour. I told him about Jungkook and as expected I had another interrogation by my boyfriend. I even told him about my mom's interrogation and he just laughed at it.

My dad was already back from work when I came out to living room. I greeted him and we all sat for lunch.

The maids started serving and all of the dishes that were made today were my favorites. I knew all of this was made because of the fact that I am here and listening to their orders.

"I am going to take you to the office tomorrow so rest well tonight and get ready in the morning" my dad said as we finished our food.

"But dad I just got here today. Can I start after a few days?"

"That's not what I meant sweetie. I'm just going to show you around the place and tell you how your work is going to be." He finished with a smile.

"Okay." I nodded.

"So do you mind telling us about Mingyu now?" Argh... I hate you for this mom. My mom asked and the first thing I did was look at my father whose facials dropped into a stern one.

"Mom I told you we w-" I got cut off by my mom.

"You are telling us now" my mom said.

"Okay. We are in a relationship." I said looking down trying to avoid my father's gaze as much as possible.

As expected he busted out. "What do you mean relationship? You guys are dating and you thought it would be fine to hide that from your parents? And how long have you been in a relationship?"

My hands were all sweaty and I began to get more nervous. "Yeah dad... we- we are d-dating." I didn't wanna tell him about the duration because I know that telling those would do me no good.

"For how long goddamnit?" Shit I'm done. This is it. This is the end of my existence.

"From the mid of our first semester" I didn't want to lie anymore.

"From the first semester? And this long you've been hiding this from us? Are we nothing to you?" my mom being the typical mother she is started being over dramatic.

"Nae" I simply nodded.

"How far have you guys gone? Have you guys had s-"

"DAD!!! Oh my god stop it. We don't even kiss each other." I cut my dad from asking the least expected question.

My dad's eye squinted and he gave me 'Come on be honest right now' look.

"Okay... we just peck each other on the lip that's it" I rolled my eyes.

"That's it? And you are rolling your eyes at me. You can't say 'that's it' when you peck each other Y/n" my dad yelled.

"Come on dad. I'm not a kid any more so stop being over dramatic about this. I'm a freaking grown up now and I know what I need in my life and what I don't."

"Stop speaking to your dad like that Y/n. Have you forgotten your manners now?" my mom yelled at me.

"What is wrong with you both? Why can't I take my own decisions now? I'm 21 so stop treating me like a teenager." I said as tears rolled down.

"To your room...Now" my dad yelled which startled me. I ran to my room.
