I was just typing a mail to Jackson about the deal when I got interrupted by phone's notification buzz.

** New message from Clumsy.

Clumsy: Hey, are you busy?

I smiled to the screen and replied to him.

Y/n: Maybe?

Clumsy: What do you mean?

Y/n: Just sending a mail to a client.

Clumsy: Is that client perhaps Mr. Wang?

Y/n: Well... you are smart >.<

Clumsy: *smirk emoji*

I hope you remember about the dinner. I'll pick you up at 7.

Y/n: Oh... Can I choose the place?

Clumsy: No, not today. Today I'm gonna take you somewhere nice.

Y/n: What do you mean? Wouldn't I choose a nice place?

Clumsy: I didn't mean that :(

Y/n: Yeah whatever Kook.

Clumsy: Kook? I like it.

Be ready at 7. Dress well, okay?

He likes it when I call him Kook? >.<

Y/n: Okay.

I quickly sent the mail to Mr. Wang and started getting ready; I took a quick shower, dried my hair and let it fall on my shoulder, did a cherry makeup look. I put on the red dress, choose a black ankle length boots. I was almost done but Jungkook called me.

"Yeoboseyo"

"I'm waiting outside. Are you done?"

"I'll be out in a minute." I said and hung up the call. I grabbed my grey overcoat since it was really cold outside and went out.

Jungkook stood there in front of his car; wearing a black overcoat on a white turtle neck sweater and black pants. The cold wind brushed through his fluffy hair making him look more amazing than he already looked.

*Jungkook's POV*

I was waiting for her outside the gate and soon I heard the clicking of heels and the gate opened. Damn! She's gorgeous. The cold wind brushed through her hairs and messed it as a few chunks of her hair fell on her face. She finally looked at me and surprisingly a smile crept on her as she looked me head to toe.

"You look good today Mr. Jeon..." she said as she got closer "... as always" she completed. Trust me this beautiful women right here makes me go crazy always.

"You look beautiful too my sweet pea..." I held my hands to her"... as always" I ended it just the way she did to me. I noticed that her smile faded as soon as I said those.

*Y/n's POV*

"You look beautiful too my sweet pea..." he said, I couldn't hear anything else after that. How does he know that? Only Mingyu called me as 'sweet pea'. Suddenly the memories of Mingyu calling me that and I being angry and hitting his chest while he chuckled more came flooding.

"Hey... did I say something wrong?" He asked as he gripped my shoulder and came down to my eye level. My tears threatened to fall but I simply shook my head and gave him a reassuring smile.

"It's nothing. Let's go." I said and simply went inside his car. He came in right after; he looked at me worriedly before starting the engine. The car ride was silent and I was thankful to Jungkook for letting me have my time.

I kind of knew where he was taking since I remember my parents taking me to the beach through this route. We reached and the place he set there was so beautiful that I couldn't take my eyes off the scenery.

"Jungkook... are we celebrating something because this doesn't seem like a normal dinner to me?" I asked him. He simply nodded and took my hands in his and led me to the table. I women came by and collected our coats and left.

He pulled the chair for me and sat down on the one close to mine. A few people came around; some of them started lighting the candles that were on the ground, one poured us each a glass of red wine and they all left after doing their part of work. It was just the both of us now. My heart was rapidly beating, but it was a complete new feeling. I nervously looked at him picking up his glass of wine so I picked up mine to.

"Cheers for your first project Y/n" he said and raised his glass. I smiled sheepishly and we both clicked our glasses and took a sip. We then spoke for a while about the company as he asked me about what happened after we parted ways. I told him about Taehyung and I saw the way his eyes changed from looking at me fondly to not looking at me at all.

I took a sip of the wine, "Do you like Taehyung Hyung?" he asked me all of a sudden which made me choke on the wine. He helped calm down. I looked at him with a disgusted face "Why would you ask me that? Are you perhaps jealous?" I asked him.

"Of course I am. You disagreed to have lunch with me and then had your lunch with hyung. How can I not be jealous? You don't even call him oppa and the way in which you chose to go away from me in front of Jackson and Lisa made me worry a bit more." He said with one breathe as he looked at me with a pouty face.

I chuckled a little and held his hands which he had kept on the table. "Jungkook, I am just friends with Taehyung and I don't call him oppa because he doesn't like it and moreover he's my personal assistant and always acts like he is younger than me. And about Jackson and Lisa, let's be professional during work hours and I saw that Lisa wasn't really comfortable seeing you having skin ship with me." I noticed that he was looking at my hands which were on his all the time when I spoke. I took my hands off him and as expected he looked at me with a confused look. "Are you even listening to me?" I asked keeping my hands crossed over my chest.

"Of course, I listened every to every bit of it, even the little gasp that you took while you started talking about Lisa." He said for which he gained shy smile from me. I bit my lower lip out of embarrassment, and slowly looked at him.

"Can you not do that?" he pointed at my lips as he was looking at them intently. I looked at him with wide eyes, completely shocked by the comment. Just then the food was brought to our table.

I looked at the food and it smelled so heavenly. Almost all of them were kind of my favorites except a few sea foods.

We started eating and talked about random stuffs again, and about his dog, which surprisingly is Maltese like mine. His name was Gureum and trust I can't wait to meet him. Our stupid talk was interrupted by a call from Taehyung.

"Yeoboseyo"

"Annyeong Y/n, I'm sorry to disturb you at this hour but do you wanna join me for dinner?"

"Ah... Taehyung-ah, I'm already having my dinner right now. I'm sorry, but let's have lunch together tomorrow okay?"

Jungkook suddenly turned his head towards me glared at me.

"Oh... That's okay."

"Are you feeling good now? Has the temperature gone down?

"Yes. Thanks to you Y/n."

"That's fine. Let's meet at work tomorrow, I don't want you to come to the gym while you are sick s-"

"No way. I'm completely fine. I'll see you in the morning." He said and hung up the call. I chuckled to myself and continued eating.

After a while Jungkook said something which really made my heart to stop working.

"Kim Y/n, I've already told you this but I still can't suppress my feelings towards you. I don't know what you think of me as but for me you are the most important person in my life. I know it is difficult for you to accept me after what has happened in your past, but trust me it's going to be different this time. I will protect you and will also be healthy and safe for you. I really love you, I don't just love you with all of my heart instead I love you with my whole self. I just can't think of losing you for somebody else. I want us to be together, forever, happily forever. I don't want you to answer me right away, you can take your time but I'm just gonna ask you today because I can no more hold it in.

Date me please?" he finished as a drop of tear rolled down his cheek.

I didn't know what to tell him or how to react. Another tear rolled down his cheek; I couldn't hold myself anymore. I got closer to him and wiped his tears and simply nodded.

I wanted to give him a chance, I didn't want him to cry because of me, I knew Jungkook would never break my heart. The words he told me felt right, the tears that rolled down hurt me.

Seeing me nod, more tears rolled down his cheeks. He pulled me towards him and hugged me tightly. It was a bit, a tiny bit uncomfortable as he was sitting and I was standing.

As if he read my mind, he stood up and hugged me tighter. I surely hugged him back. It was really calming and warm. All I could hear was the waves hitting the shore and the rocks, the cold little winds blowing, his little sniffs and his rapidly beating heart. He pulled back and saw my face. I had a smile plastered on my face.

"Did you really accept me?" he asked me. I simply nodded with a bigger grin.

"You aren't just doing this to comfort me right?"

"Jungkook I really want to give us a try. But promise me that you will never break my trust and will always keep yourself safe and healthy." A tear rolled down my cheek too. This time he nodded and smiled ear to ear as he wiped my tears and hugged me again.

We finished the dinner and Jungkook dropped me back to my house. During the whole ride Jungkook couldn't stop smiling. Seeing him smiling my smile literally got bigger.
