I got up early as usual and left to the gym. Taehyung accompanied me and to my luck, Jackson wasn't there at the gym today. We finished our gym and the whole time Taehyung didn't speak to me at all. He was behaving a bit off from yesterday, even after the breakfast he didn't look at me in the eye or talk to me properly.

We were in the car, riding back to my house and I decided to ask him,

"Taehyung, is something wrong? You are being weird from yesterday. Is something bothering you?" I asked genuinely worried about him.

"I'm fine Ms. Kim. You don't have to worry about me."

What is wrong with him? He didn't even look at me when spoke. And he called me 'Ms. Kim'?

*Taehyung's POV*

"Taehyung, is something wrong? You are being weird from yesterday. Is something bothering you?" I heard her asking me. I knew this was coming, I saw the way she used to look at me completely worried.

But how can I break my dongsaeng's heart?

"I'm fine Ms. Kim. You don't have to worry about me." I told her.

I am really not fine Y/n. How am I supposed to control my feelings for you? How am I supposed to not love you when I am going to see you around me all the time? But I won't break my friend's heart. I know he really loves you and can keep you happy all the time.

"Are you sure Taehyung? Do you want to take a leave from work today?" she asked me again.

"I'll consider that Ms. Kim. But you can call me if you need something and I'm sorry." At least I'll distract myself when I'm not around her.

"You don't have to be sorry Taehyung" She said.

We soon got to her house and parted our ways.

*Y/n's POV*

I went in and got ready for office. When I got out from the shower, I checked my phone and I had a text message from Jungkook.

Clumsy: Hey, good morning sunshine.

Please wear something comfortable today and look more elegant. I've got a surprise for you.

And you don't have to be nervous for the meeting too, I have it all handled.

Have a great day. <3

What? Sunshine? A surprise? What has he got handled? God, this man is confusing me on this stupid day.

Y/n: Hi, good morning Jungkook,

I don't understand what you mean but thank you :)

Have a great day too.

I shrugged it off as I was getting late. I had already chosen my outfit so I didn't bother to choose something elegant.

I had breakfast and the driver drove me to the company soon.

I reached the company and as usual was greeted by my employees. By the time I reached the elevator Mr. Park joined and told me today's schedule. I had the meeting with Jackson in an hour so I went to my office and signed a few important papers and replied to some emails.

*Half an hour later*

There was a knock on my door."Come in"

Mr. Park came in with a huge grin.

"Ms. Kim, we might have to leave now for the meeting." He said.

"Sure." I said and got up and we left the company. During the ride, Jungkook texted me,

Clumsy: Are you leaving for the meeting now?

Y/n: Yes. I'm on my way.

Clumsy: okay. Please be careful.

Y/n: Don't scare me like that.

Clumsy: You don't have to be Y/n. I told you, everything's going to be fine.

Y/n: Yeah yea... whatever. I gotta go though. Bye

Clumsy: Bye <3

We reached his company and we still had five minutes left for the meeting to start. We got in and were told to wait by the couch.

The building was nice and big but a very few people were seen around. I sat down on the couch as Mr. Park stood by the couch. I was looking at my phone when Mr. Park called out,

"Jungkook?"

I looked up at Mr. Park turned my head towards where he was looking. I saw Jungkook walking towards us, Lisa following behind him. He looked soo good with his black suit, his hair parted and lifted a little.

I stood up out of shock. "What is he doing here?" I asked Jimin.

"I have no idea about it" he replied.

"I'm sorry for the wait beautiful..."another voice came from behind me, a voice that sent me shivers and made my hands sweaty. Jimin and I turned around to face the man in unison.

Jackson stood there in all black outfit, his hair gelled and parted but no smirk.

"It is Ms. Kim. You can call her Ms. Kim." Jimin said with a rude fake smile. Jackson simply gave Jimin a glare and took my hands and was about to kiss the back of it, but Jungkook pulled my hands and held it in his.

"Morning Mr. Wang" Jungkook greeted him with fake smile. I simply bowed to him.

I was still shocked by the whole situation. "Why is Jungkook here? And why the hell is Jackson being so awkward at his work place?" I thought to myself. I slowly took my hands away from Jungkook's grip and moved a little away.

"I don't remember calling you for the meeting Mr. Jeon." Jackson replied arrogantly as he placed his hand on his waist. I was clearly annoyed by Jungkook being here; it was evident on his face.

"Well... this is a business meeting and as you know both of our companies have been tied up together so I have the equal right as Y/n to attend this meeting." He said as he dug his hands inside his pocket.

I was relieved as Jungkook would be here too.

"But I don-" Jackson was cut off by Jungkook's next action.
