"Klaus, this is good for Hope," Hayley Marshall-Mikaelson spoke to her brother in law.

That's right, Hayley had married the man that she loves, Elijah Mikaelson. He was her everything, and she was incredibly happy with her life at the moment. Nothing could take away her happiness, but her daughter was more upset than ever.

"No chance will we go back to that horrid town," Klaus had replied.

The way that he was saying this showed that there was no room to question his decision. Hayley was mad enough as it was at the fact that she had to have this discussion with him, but she did not want this chance to be taken away from Hope.

Hope Mikaelson had wanted to go to school, but she did not know what to do. It was not as though there was a school that was readily available to accept Hope, a tribrid, but that was until she had come across the Salvatore school.

When she had realized that this school was perfect for her, she had rushed to her mother Hayley and then told her about it.

Hayley, wanting all the happiness in the world for her daughter, readily accepts the proposition, but she then had to convince her father, Klaus Mikaelson.

Convincing Klaus is no easy feat, and she had then decided to get the rest of the family on board, and they had all made a decision without Klaus' input, to go to Mystic Falls for Hope.

"Klaus, everyone has already agreed," Hayley replied.

She had then added on,

"And Hope really wants to go as well," Hayley said.

She knew that this statement would force Klaus to at least consider what she is asking of him.

Klaus had cared a lot about Hope the most. She was his redemption as Elijah would say. After Haley had told Klaus that Hope wanted to go to the school, he had decided to reconsider. There was one factor which he did not take into mind, his ex-girlfriend, Hannah Forbes.

It was not as though he dreaded seeing her, he loved her a lot. He had just made a mistake that he cannot take back. He wants to take it back, he wants things to go back to the way they were, but that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

He knew that better than anyone. He regretted not fighting for her, and he always tries to justify it in his mind that if he had fought for her he would not know about Hope, but nothing could justify him not fighting for the relationship.

"Okay," Klaus had replied dejectedly.

He was not looking forward to settling in Mystic Falls.
