"Alaric I am so not in the mood to deal with you right now," Hannah spoke that morning. 

She had just gotten home from her "face-off" with Klaus Mikaelson. She was not in the mood to be lectured by Alaric at the moment. Hannah was not in a mood to interact with anyone really, and she had not acted this upset since she was pregnant. 

Hannah knew what Alaric was going to say, it was written all over his face. He was not happy about Hannah going to go meet Klaus. 

In Alaric's mind, he believed that Hannah falling for Klaus was a slippery slope. He was her weak spot, always has been, always will be. He did not want to assume anything, but in this case, he believed that Hannah was once again falling for Klaus. 

 Especially after what he had seen with the two of them together. Alaric had known the extent to which Hannah was hurt by Klaus, therefore he wanted to protect her with all of his might, but she was not one of his girls. 

He would not be able to control the actions that she does or the choices that she makes, all that he would be able to do is give his opinion.

"Just know that I do not feel good about this," Alaric said. 

Hannah had glanced at him and crossed her arms as she had begun to listen to what he was saying. He had realized that Hannah was giving him a chance to talk, and he had then continued, 

"You know how we have felt about Klaus since the moment he had joined into our lives," Alaric had started. 

"You also know what he has done to us and to you," Alaric added on. 

Hannah had sighed after Alaric had spoken, she knew exactly what he meant. Hannah herself knew that she was beginning to fall for Clouse all over again, but she cannot allow herself to do that. 

There's so much pain behind their history, that Hannah was not ever going to be willing to take the risk. She had good reason not to take the risk in the first place, but in Klaus' perspective, he wanted to win her back. 

Hannah had no longer seen an appeal in being with Klaus anymore, she knew better than ever that a relationship with him could end in heartbreak for her all over again. 

"I do not want you to be in a relationship that had already ended badly," Alaric finished.

It was as though he had read her mind, and was saying what her mind was saying to her heart. Hannah's heart was one that was not willing to listen to her mind. Her body had also reacted in a way that showed its want for Klaus. Klaus was someone who could bring this out of Hannah, and she had hated it.

"Alaric, I know all of this," Hannah started off. She did not know how to state what she had wanted to say.

"I won't be with him, but just him being around me is an issue. I tell my mind that I hate him, that I do not want him. My heart though tends to overwhelm my mind, leading to my heart taking control of my body," Hannah said.

Alaric has then sat down on the table, knowing that this discussion was one that Hannah needed desperately.
