The two had made it to Hannah's office, where Jace had walked ahead of Klaus and had opened the door. He had thus said,

"Mom, there is someone here to see you," Jace spoke as Hannah Forbes was typing on her laptop.

There was no use denying the fact that somehow, in one way or another, she and Klaus would have to talk to each other whether they liked it or not. Without Klaus knowing, they were already connected because of Jace.

Though, even Hannah knew of fact.

"Let them in," Hannah spoke as her attention was completely on her laptop.

She should have moved her attention towards her son or away from the laptop, at least. With doing that, she would have known that Klaus was at the door. The one person that she had the intention of avoiding no matter what.

Jace had thus left and said to Klaus,

"You can go in now," he spoke.

Jace was hesitant to leave the two alone, not knowing the state that his mother would be in after talking to the man who had broken her heart. As Klaus had walked in, his heart was beating out his chest. There was only one woman who could do this to Klaus, and that was Hannah Forbes. There was no one else who could make him feel the way that he had, and he was satisfied with that.

"Hello, love," Klaus spoke up.

This statement had caused the girl to look up from her laptop, and her eyes had widened. Whether they are widened in fear or shock, she did not know. The girl had never truly feared Klaus to this day; she had no reason to. In this case, the only reason that she was scared was because she did not want Klaus to know about his son.

"What are you doing here?" Hannah replied harshly.

She had rushed to the open door behind him, and she had shut it quickly while looking down the hallway to see if anyone had seen her.

Klaus had a smug smile on his face, he wanted to talk to her about their past, but he could not help but admire Hannah. The way that she moved, the way that she had looked. She had not changed a lot, and the fact that she was now a vampire gave Klaus the time that he had needed to gain her trust and heart back.

"I'm here to see you," Klaus replied.

He was trying to be as charming as possible, wanting to win Hannah's heart as fast and soon as possible. Though, that was not going to happen any time soon due to the glare that Hannah was sending his way.

With her vampire strength, she had pushed Klaus in the direction of the door. Though, her efforts were futile since Klaus was stronger than her, and had the roles reversed. He had pushed her up against the door, and she could feel his lips hovering over hers.

"Now, look at what we have here," Klaus spoke right after he had pushed her against the door.

She wanted to give in, she was desperate to give in. She believed at that moment that her resistance to him was petty and that she should just give in.
