"Wordplay, turns into gun play
And gun play turns into pillow talk
And pillow talk turns into sweet dreams
Sweet dreams turns into coffee in the morning"
—Miguel

"Mm, good morning beautiful" Reid's sexy morning voice fills my ears. I shut my eyes and blush. I've been up for about an hour now, just staring, taking in all his beautiful features. My thoughts kept wandering to the events of last night, when he touched me and made me feel things I didn't know existed.

"Morning," I mumble through my pillow. My hair covers my face to hide my blush.

"What've I told you about hiding your blush? Babygirl, it's the cutest thing ever!" He says pinching my cheeks. I swat his hand away and swing my legs over the mattress. Once my bare feet make contact with the carpet, an icy chill hits my skin. I shiver slightly before stretching out my limbs.

"Goddamn," Reid curses under his breath. I whip around and watch as Reid's blue eyes darken as they roam my body. "You're fucking art baby."

I knit my brows together and follow his gaze. Oh, no wonder.

     I'm butt naked.

I rush to my closet and throw on sweatpants and one of Reid sweaters. His chuckle followed me as I ran. Rolling my eyes, I walk back into my room. "Coffee?" I ask.

"Mm, after you get that cute little ass over here," he implores. I shake my head and dart out the door.

"I'll get you next time!" Reid proclaims.

I run down the hallway and look back towards my door with a giggle. When I turn back around I slam into Holly and we both tumble to the floor. "Oh! I'm so sorry Holly, are you o—oh?" I freeze when Jake casually walks into the doorway of Holly's room.

Holly's eyes bug out as she looks at me for a response. I glance between Jake and her a couple times before I see eye to eye. "Ohhh . . . okay, Holly we'll discuss this later," I hear them both let out a breath they've been holding back. "Coffee anyone?"

"So, you mean to tell me that Jake just happened to fall into your bed—at the same time you did—and somehow, just somehow, his dick managed its way into
your—"

"YES! Yes, we slept together Mere geez." She flashes in annoyance.

     "And?"

"And it was fucking great! Okay, now my turn," a mischievous grin tugs at her lips.

"Your turn? For what exactly?" So maybe it was a little white lie, but I think she sound spill the beans before I tell her something she doesn't need to know.

"Don't give me that bullshit, the walls aren't sound proof babe! I heard you 'oh fuck Reid, yeah right there, oh my—'"

"Yeah yeah. You caught me, okay? But we didn't have sex," I retort.

"Ooh, so he just licked you like a snack?"

"Mhm," I acknowledge through my nose whilst pouring my rich hot chocolate in a mug. I hate coffee with a passion.

"You dirty bitch!" Holly praises. She hugs me from behind and I nearly spilled my chocolaty goodness.

"Stop! I could've spilled my hot chocolate," I pout. Her green eyes rolls as she bites into a crisp Granny Smith. That reminds me . . .

     "Apple pie later?"

"You betcha!" She says with excitement. My stomach growls just at the though of a nice warm apple pie.

     "Where's Reid?"

"He's right here," Reid chimes in from the doorframe. "I knew you'd miss me."

"You're an ass," I snap back.

Reid smirks and lets out a boisterous laugh. "You love my ass." Okay, true.

"Princess I wanna take you somewhere today," Reid's eyes light up at the thought of his plan.

"Rain check?" I ask Holly. She sighs and nods her head. I really wanted that damn apple pie too . . .

"Okay, what should I wear?" I don't ask where we're going because there's no point, he wouldn't tell me anyways.

     "Something sexy."

"More specific?" My cheeks burn slightly from the threatening blush.

"Uh, something warm. Like a scarf with a sweater and jeans."

I beam. "Okay, I'll go change."

"And I'll come with you!" Holly exclaims.

"All set!" I reach the last step of the staircase. Holly helped me pick out my outfit, which consisted of a grey thick knit sweater, light wash jeans, a patterned blue scarf and brown booties.

"Looking gorgeous as usual," Reid adds in.

"Have fun lovebirds! Be safe, oh and use protection! I don't want to be an auntie quite yet," Holly mentions before slamming the door.

Reid smirks and pulls me into his side. "We would have beautiful children you know."

"With your silky dirty blonde hair and my honey eyes, or visa vera," I say aimlessly whilst waking toward his bike.

"Fuck, the thought of us starting a family turns me on more than ever," Reid points out. I turn back just in time to see him adjust his tightening pants. Oh, the effect I have on him will never get old.

It's absolutely breathtaking. Waves crash up against the rocks, ever so slowly eroding away fine particles. The light of the lighthouse beams as it turns in a clockwise direction. The light captures the beautiful seven o'clock shadow upon Reids face.

We've been driving for almost two hours with no bathroom breaks, might I add—and it was worth it. "Reid, this is gorgeous!" I exclaim, throwing my hands in the air.

He chuckles and intertwines our fingers. "I came here a lot after my mom died," his smile faltered then faded. I couldn't help but direct all my attention to him.

"What happened?" I don't mean to pry, but he's already got me hooked.

"Cancer," he snaps like it's the nastiest word that ever left his mouth. I can tell it leaves a bad aftertaste when he looks down with tightened eyes. "She is—was, she was so strong" he pauses. "She just didn't know it . . . kinda like you."

I tilt my head in confusion with a need for further explanation.

"She was always shy and quiet, but she was so bubbly and joyful. Her wise words with her beautiful wits made her even more enticing to my father. He was livid once she left. He closed himself off, trashed practically everything, it was like he couldn't find his source of happiness anymore, same with me. And then I met you, and the world was suddenly whole again."

I smile and blink away threatening tears. Now is not the time to cry. I put a hand on his stubbled cheek and he leans into my palm. "What'd your dad do?"

"He rose up. He knew mom wouldn't have wanted him to be so cold and ruthless toward everyone, so he changed. He became stronger and fought off all his demons."

I smile at the thought. His dad must be an amazing man. "I can't wait to meet him," I say.

     Reid smiles, "Me too babygirl."

"So what should we do?" I ask. "The scenery is beautiful!"

     "We could do anything, love."

     "Walk on the beach?"

"Of course." So we walk, and walk, and walk until the rocks by the light house make us stop in our tracks.

"Go play in the water, babygirl."

     "Reid it's cold!"

"I'll warm you up," he laughs.

I look out to the offing. The sun is just setting and the colors of the sky reflect on the sea. I kick off my booties and socks and run to the tide. The cold winter water rushes in between my toes. I shiver for a second before it turns into a pleasurable feeling. The water stops at my ankles before retreating back to the sea, making the sand cave into my feet.

I look back and see Reid taking pictures of me. "Smile babygirl!" He yells from across the sand. I put on me best smile and giggle while kicking around the sand. He takes a few pictures before shoving his phone in his pants pocket.

I stay by the water a bit longer before retreating to Reid. He laughs and points down, "Babygirl your feet are a mess." I look down and see the sand had stuck to my feet. I roll my eyes and sit down on the log next to him. I bring my foot up and start swatting away the sand.

"Here," Reid motions with his hand. I hold my foot out and he gently starts wiping off the sand with a towel.

"Thank you for bringing me here, I feel like I've already meet her." I look to the offing again and just imagine that's Reid's mom had done the same, getting lost in the sunset. When I look back to Reid, a single tear falls down his cheek.

     "Reid?"

"You really are amazing my angel," He smiles and I smile back. He puts on my socks and shoes and we sit together. My back to his chest whilst he plays with my hair.

"It's getting late should we head back?"

Reid shakes his head. "No, I have a buddy that owns a place we could crash at. Plus," he turns my head and grazes my lips. "I want to stay a little longer."
