"I am sweat, flaws
I am veins, scars
I am human
Nothing more than human"
—Sevdaliza

I bake multiple recipes with Holly. We could probably feed the whole damn school! Reid and Oliver are playing video games, Reid glances over at me when he can. After our little heated moment, I feel so odd around him. I don't want to call it love, I mean, I've only known him for a few days, but I can definitely tell . . . I'm falling for this boy. Is this what desire to love feels like? Lust, as most call it. Is this why every book and every movie has character falling for each other left and right?

We give the boys some chocolate chip cookies we baked, and they basically inhaled them, then asked for more. Holly and I didn't mind though, we had to do something with the cookies. I begin eating some myself.

The boys wrap up there game while Holly and I put the baked goodies in containers.

"I'm gonna head up for a shower!" Oliver yells while walking upstairs. We all give him an 'okay'.

I hop up on the counter just as Reid walks into the kitchen. I have cookies stuffed in my mouth and I have no doubt I probably look like a chipmunk. Reid chuckles and comes my way.

"You have a little . . ." he steps in between my legs and wipes his thumb at the corner of my lips. His thumb moves away and I see a glob of chocolate. I blush in embarrassment and look up to him. He doesn't say anything, but puts his thumb in his mouth, licking off the chocolate. I can feel my cheeks heat up another degree from the unbroken eye contact.

A light giggle echos in the lust filled silence. I glance over to Holly, that had her hand propped under her chin, watching us amusingly. I grab and throw the closest object to me, which just happen to be an oven mitt, it lands smack dab in her face. She rolls her playful eyes.

Reid checks his phone. "I have to head out." He places his hands on my thighs. I nod, a little sad, I don't really want him to go.

He lifts my chin up , "I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" I nod. "Call me if you need anything." I was about to respond, but his lips cut me off. I let his sweet lips linger on mine before we both pull away. I smile and hop off the counter, walking him to the door. We say our final 'goodbyes,' and part ways.

I make my way back to the living room where Holly is waiting for me. She doesn't say anything, which I'm glad. I didn't know how to explain how he makes me feel exactly. Holly raises the blanket she's under, inviting me in. I wiggle my way into her side and the blanket, like how we use to when we were younger.

We cuddle together on the couch and watch 'Annie', singing all the songs that come on the movie. A short time later, Oliver comes in and joins us. Soon we're all in one giant burrito on the couch. I feel my eye lids become heavy, as Oliver snuggles into my side more. I close my eyes and welcome the abyss of sleep take over.

"Shit!" I shoot up to see Holly running around the house like a crazy person. I look to Oliver, who looks just as lost as me. We look back to Holly, giving her a confused look. She stops running and looks to us. "WE'RE LATE FOR SCHOOL YOU FUCKTARDS!" Oliver and I shoot up from the couch, but as soon as I do, an uneasy feeling courses through me. My head is throbbing and my stomach is doing summer salts.

"G-guys," they look to me. "I think I'm gonna skip, I'm not feeling so good." They give me a worried look. "You guys can go, I'll be alright. Just bring me my homework." They nod and practically sprint to their rooms.

I drag my feet to the bathroom, feeling weaker and weaker with every move I make. I look in the mirror and see a girl with deep eye bags and a ghost like face. I cringe at the sight and do my bathroom business.

Oliver and Holly both say goodbye to me. Lisa headed to work super early, so it's just me and this glorious house. Suddenly my phone pings.

Reid: Hey, you're not here. Are you okay?

Me: Uh, no not really. I think I'm
coming down with something.

Reid: What's wrong?

Me: Not sure. I just feel so weak
and sick. I tried eating something,
but I feel to icky.

Reid: Should I swing by later?

Me: As much as I would like that,
I wouldn't want you catching
whatever I have.

Reid: I understand, I wish you were here.

Me: I'm sorry Reid, me too.

Reid: Don't apologize. Just please try to get better. Call me if you need anything, angel. Keep me updated.

Me: Okay, I will. Goodbye Reid.

Reid: Goodbye, angel.

I sigh and put my phone down. My tummy grumbles indicating my hunger. I should at least try to eat something, maybe all I need is food.

I rummage through the fridge until I find some leftover pizza from a couple nights ago. I know pizzas not the best source of nutrition when you're sick, but hey, it's good. I heat it up in the microwave, and wait impatiently. When it's done I sit down at the island and eat.

I manage to eat a couple good sized bites, until my stomach does a flip. I shoot up and rush to the bathroom, and release whatever I had in my stomach into the toilet. I close my eyes and cry as I vomit, I never liked the feeling, nor the sight.

When I was finished I look into the toilet bowl, pizza chunks mixed with blood. Blood.

I cringe and flush the toilet. I brush my teeth and use mouth wash to get rid of the nasty taste in my mouth. I grab my phone and text Reid.

Me: Hey Reid. I'm just updating. I ate, but it didn't stay down.

He didn't respond for a while, I figured he was in class. But a moment later, my phone pinged.

Reid: Oh baby, are you okay?

Me: No, everything hurts.

Reid: Was it just food?

Me: Yes and no.
There was some blood too.

Reid: Fuck. Okay. Just rest, I'll come over after school, which is in an hour. Please take it easy!

Me: Okay, I will. Thank you.

Reid: Of course, baby.

I set my phone down and do as Reid says. I lay down and watch a movie for about 20 minutes until the pain subsides the slightest bit.

Since the pain is slightly gone, I figured I'd go get some medicine from town. I throw on some heavy clothes and head out the door. Town isn't too far, so I figured I'd walk.

I begin walking and realize that I walked down a bad part of town. Almost every building is vandalized, broken glass sprinkled the sidewalks, and trash is littered at the corner. I cringe and keep my head down, trying to to attract attention. But my plan fails when I hear a nasty voice from behind me.

BEGIN TRIGGER WARNING

"Wow," he slurs. "What's a pretty young thing doing in this side of town? Hm?" I ignore the man and walk a bit faster. Everything begins hurting again. I try my best to keep pushing, but it's not enough. The man grabs my shoulder and pushes me down an alley. I look up to him from the ground as he mounts onto me.

"C'mer, I'll show you what happens to pretty girls that don't listen," My vision becomes clouded and my airways is cut off by his hand on my throat. Another hand connects to my face, and my head rolls to the opposite side. I hear a belt buckle and some rustling and suddenly I feel coldness hit my legs, indicating my pants are off.

Oh my god. This is it. Why didn't I listen to Reid. Fuck! Reid! What time is it? He's probably at the house. I need to fight!

I try to scream, but my voice is gone from whatever sickness consumes me. I let out a raspy 'NO' but he doesn't comply. I push and kick, but my muscles are so tired. I feel warm tears caress my cold cheeks.

A huge rush of pain hits my core and I let out a raspy scream. The pain. Ohhhhh, the pain.

"Fuck, of course your tight, little girl," He caresses my cheek and begins moving within me. I feel around for my phone as I cry. I finally find it after what feels like days and dial the last called number. I turn up the volume and put the phone near me, so he can hear what's happening and hopefully find me.

I hear a faint 'Meredith?' come from the phone and I know that's my cue to scream my fucking head off the best I can. I'm raspy at first, as he still pumps into me. But his grip on my neck loosens and I lost it.

"REID! HELP ME! PLEASE!" I scream and I scream until my voice gives out and I become light headed. The man slaps me yet again.

I hear Reid yell though the phone for me. I can hear his frantic voice. I remember the tracker Holly put on my phone, for if I ever got lost and needed directions home. My only hope now, is that Reid can track me down, and save me.

Reid please. Save me.
