|YOU CAN SKIP THIS PART IF YOU WANT TO CARRY ON READING|

Adding this glossary because it seems everyone forgot it existed in the first book.

With this, you can avoid asking questions like "who was the sixth dragon again" in the comment section.

I'm putting up this glossary for readers who need a point of reference but don't want to reread. As this book has very intense worldbuilding, we all need a bit of assistance once in a while. No one is looking down on you for that. Familiarizing can be a little tough on everyone, but it is necessary to be able to understand and relate to the story.

I do hope this provides a little aid in your journey in this book!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Just flip the map below. Erindal is east. Vertvalden is west.

Glossary

A - B

1.  Conduit: A special kind of person with the rare ability to materialize/channel the energy of his/her Deliverer. These people have the same patron (or Deliverer) for the three different dimensions compared to the more common folks who usually have different patrons for each. They're the counterparts of benders in the Avatar: The Last Airbender series or Indirect/Direct Controllers from the CASeries.

2.  Deliverer: Refers to a supernatural, unearthly patron in the form of the mythic seven dragons of the moon and the serpent of the sun, all known mythological beings that explain the movement of the heavens and are often worshipped as gods.

3.  Domains: The different category of elements under the rule of the Seven Dragons of the Moon and the Serpent of the Sun. Refer to Chapter 23 : Incense for a better explanation of what will be enumerated below. There are, all in all, eight entities;

a.    Life and Purity– under Azurine, Dragon of the First Night and Full Moon.

b.   Wind and Sky – under Galatea, Dragon of the Second and Fourth Night, of the First and Last Quarter respectively.

c.    Light and Fire – under Balasea, Dragon of the Third Night and the Waning Gibbous.

d.   Oceans, Ice, and Water – under Galateaonce more. Galatea is the only dragon among the seven to rule over two domains because she devoured her twin's abilities before birth—that dragon being Bulan.

e.    Void and Space – under Bulan, Dragon of the Fifth Night and the Waxing Crescent. Being left with no element, he was left with nothing.

f.     Earth and Metal – under Raki, Dragon of the Sixth Night and the Waning Crescent.

g.    Death and Chaos – under Kaliya, Dragon of the Seventh Night and the New Moon.

h. Time and Order – under Vagun, Dragon of the Eighth Night and the Waxing Gibbous.

i.   Balance and Neutrality– under the Serpent of the Sun. A minor ability to control fire can also be seen among those who have been blessed with its heritage.

4.  Erindal: The Continent of the East; territory of the children of the dragons—people who worship the seven moon dragons.

5.  The First Among Equals (FAE): A position among the seven Dragon Emperors that commands the most respect. The First Among Equals is not to be mistaken as the leader, as they all stand in equal footing. The FAE, however, holds more sway in decision-making.

6.  Lovarda: A seaside country of Erindal that specializes in trade with the other continent, Vertvalden.

7.  Lovardi: The language of Lovarda.

8.  The Seven Dragon Emperors of the East: Rulers of the continent of Erindal, or the East Continent. They have divided territories and represent the strongest blood of their generation. They emulate the position of the seven dragons as chosen sons of the heaven, feared and respected for their power and talents.

9.  The Seven Dragons of the Moon and the Serpent of the Sun: Refer to Chapter 3: Oblivion to read the myth. They went to a battle that fed different energies to the world and caused life to flourish. They eventually compromised to enjoy the territory.

10.  The Three Dimensions: the soul, the mind, and the body.

11.  Veils: considered by Evyionne to be death's emissaries. They appear when a person is living their final moments. They make it 'official.'

12.  Venerya: also called the Dragon's Perch. It is the country under the rule of the FAE and is the capital country for the continent of Erindal.

13.  Vertvalden: The Continent of the West; territory of the scions of the serpent—people who worship the serpent of the sun.
