*Asher's Pov*

It was Monday morning.

I dressed as nicely as I possibly could've. Nothing fancy, just nice. As I got in my car to drive to school, I saw Hazel coming out of her house to start walking. She saw me in my car and smiled, but all I could remember was her sitting there with Caleb. So, I ignored her and drove off.

When I got to school, I spotted my target right in front. I got out of my car and walked smoothly towards her. I stood right in front of her as she looked down at her phone.

"Hi." I smiled as I stood right in front of her. She looked up, shocked to see me.

"Asher Grey? Hey, sexy!" She purred and put her phone in her purse.

"Listen, I have something to ask you. I know it's very sudden, but it's important." I took a deep breath and looked her in the eyes. "Do you wanna go out with me?"

Her eyes widened and for a moment she stood there, paralyzed. Then she smiled and bit her lip. "Sure." She winked at me and I couldn't help but smirk. My plan was coming into play.

I had just successfully asked out Sheyla Donner.

I know what you're thinking. 'Why would you ask her out??' 'Isn't she the one that started the whole Ivy slut-shaming??' 'Don't all of you guys hate her??' However, I had my reasons. If Hazel wanted to go out with my enemy, wouldn't it be fair that I go out with hers?

Standing right there in front of Sheyla, I noticed a few things. For one thing, her black eye had healed. And also, she was simply stunning. By anyone's standards! If anything, I should've been getting with a girl like her, not some nerd like Hazel. I realized how good this would be for me. Especially for me to get my rep, ego, and personality back after losing it from knowing Hazel.

We had to start being lovey dovey right away. I saw Hazel making her way to the school's front, so I looked down at Sheyla, and kissed her.

I snaked my arms around her and she did the same. She bit my lip a bit and opened her mouth. She was basically begging me to enter her mouth, so I did. We made out for a bit longer.

I glanced over at Hazel and her friends with the corner of my eye, but I saw her speed walking into the school and her friends just staring at me with this look.

I pulled away from the kiss and smirked down at Sheyla.

"That. Was. Hot." Sheyla panted heavily.

I was smiling and all, but secretly I wondered: Why did Hazel run into the building and why did her friends seem so mad? Then it hit me. It was obvious! I was their friend and I was kissing their enemy. Well I guess that's the reaction I wanted. What else did I expect?

"Hey, I gotta go early to class to hand in an assignment. See you later." I waved off Sheyla and she screamed bye to me as I walked into the school building.

I clenched my jaw as I spotted Hazel leaning against the locker with Caleb above her, his hands on either side of her. They were talking and I wondered if Hazel and him were officially dating.

He kissed her forehead and my head just about exploded. I walked towards them and shouted out,"Hey!" They both turned and seemed surprised to see me.

"I have a question. Are you two dating?" I asked with a fake smile on my face. I dreaded their answer.

"Yeah, we are actually." Caleb said, tightening the space between him and Hazel.

"Great...." I drawled out through gritted teeth. They were actually dating and I couldn't do anything cause I was actually dating Sheyla.

"Why do you ask?" Hazel asked quietly and looked down at her feet as she clicked them together.

Shit. I had to come up with a reason quickly. Because the FBI was looking for couples with a fertile woman?? No, what the fuck. Because they were in trouble with Ms. Schrödinger for being so affectionate in the halls?? No... Oh wait! I had an idea!

"I'm asking because I wanted to see if you two wanted to go on a double date with Sheyla and me. So what do ya' say?" I asked hopeful that they would say no. Why would Hazel want to see her enemy and why would my enemy want to see me?

"Sure." Caleb said. Hazel nodded after hearing his answer.

"Oh, it's okay. I understand." I turned on my heels and stopped when I realized what they said. "Wait, what?"

"We'll go on the double date with you. So when is it?" Hazel asked, and I could see bitterness growing on her face. Yikes.

"My house on Friday night. We're having a drinking date. My dad has a lot of alcohol and beer that he doesn't care for and my family's gonna be out for the weekend. The four of us will have a great time." I assured.

Hazel went from looking bitter to looking uneasy, but Caleb's face brightened. "That sounds sick! Man, I can't wait to try all those drinks. We're there!"

The bell rang, signalling first period. I said bye to the horrible couple in front of me and made my way to class.

To be honest, this drinking date sounded fun. However, it'd be even more fun if my date was Hazel. Wait no what was I thinking?! Like I had said earlier, Sheyla was way more stunning , popular, and cool than Hazel! It would be good for me to get with someone like Sheyla. It would get me back on track.

Now, I was pumped.
