Katherine looked at herself in the mirror. She really looked like a beautiful and expensive bride. Katherine took a deep breath as she could feel the tears rising behind her eyes.

Katherine had never thought she'll get married this way. She didn't think she'll get married to Caspian Montgomery. She had always thought of a wedding even though she had thought it simple in her mind it was grand.

She looked at her stomach through her dress. It was still flat but Katherine knew it held her little kids.

The news of Caspian Montgomery getting remarried today has indeed spread far and wide. Everyone in the high-class were wondering about Caspian's new wife.

"If you want to run away just say the word." Carolina said pulling Katherine out of her thought.

Although Carolina said with a hint of jest she was dead serious and Katherine could see it.

Katherine breathe shook as she didn't know what she wants. If she doesn't marry Caspian he'll find a way to take her babies from her. He can do it.

Loveless marriage or not her kids are all the love in the world. Kathrine thought.

"Thank you." Katherine turned to her best friend.

"Oh my goodness!" A voice shriked from the door.

Katherine turned to her gaping mother and smiled at her father who walked in behind her.

"You look so beautiful dear...and your gown-"
Melinda looked at her daughter's gown. She identified it immediately. She had seen it in an exclusive catalogue.

There was only one of it's kind. An exclusive fashion designer in china had released it. It was the last dress his wife designed before she was taken by cancer.

Melinda eyes almost teared up. Since she got to the wedding venue, she had been talking to people she had never thought she would talk to. Melinda remembered her conversation with Elizabeth Montgomery. The woman seeped elegance and wealth as Melinda had heard. She had praised Melinda for raising such a smart and thoughtful daughter. Melinda had always admired Elizabeth Montgomery. She was who Melinda series to be like.

Melinda had never thought her last child would be the one to make all the dreams she's had since she was a little girl come true. Melinda had always thought even if it was possible, that it would be her older daughter who would help her actualize this dream.

Now she was in the clique of the Montgomerys. All her high-class friends would be jealous as they would now look at her from their low clique as she'll be higher above them. Melinda thought.

"You are stunning." She completed taking Katherine's hands in hers.

"I'm so happy you found your true love. I knew Alan wasn't the one for you dear."

Carolina let out a loud scoff that earned her a glare from Melinda.
Katherine wanted to take her hands away from her mother. She knew the only thing her mother was happy about was her new social standing. Katherine has heard from Carolina how her mom had begun bragging to people in her cliques as the news of her engagement with Caspian was announced.

"Thank you." Katherine forced a smile to her lips and removed her hands from her Mom's hold.

"I'm happy for you tiger." Katherine's dad said.

Katherine could see how that he wasn't very happy about it. After the engagement, she had had dinner with her dad. Katherine remembered how  much her father has tried to dissuade from getting married and how mad he was that he hadn't known of their relationship earlier.

Katherine's dad was obviously not happy. He knows who Caspian Montgomery was very well. He had been in little business collaborations with his company.

He knew how powerful he was. And how ruthless and cruel he can be. Katherine's dad remembered the last meeting he had with Caspian Montgomery present. He had seen how Caspian had manipulated some of his officials who wanted to use the Montgomerys company name for their greedy dealings.

David also hated greedy men but he disproved of the way Caspian had exposed them. Caspian had manipulated them, slowly poisoned their midst and watched as the men destroyed all their wealth, their families and their lives and after he was done with them he left them behind bars.

David had also being a witness of his evil smirk and had been there to see the aftermath or results of the evil smirk. Caspian was a man no one wanted to cross. He doesn't destroy someone upfront but he does it slowly and throughly leaving the person a walking dead.

"Dad?" Katherine worriedly went to her father.

"I know you are worried but I'm fine. I promise."

" I am just concerned and confused. Caspian and you are the opposite of each other dear. He is not a man I would think you would associate with. And there's the age gap." Katherine's dad said his voice laced with worry.

"I know the man I'm marrying dad. I know how to handle him. I promise."

Kathrine couldn't believe how well she lied.

"And isn't there an age gap between you and mom." Katherine half jocked to lighten the mood.

Katherine almost let out a sigh of relief as she watched a small smile appear on her dad's lips.

"David, your daughter is getting married to the man she loves. This is not the day for your crazy words." Melinda scolded, not pleased with her husband's words.

David glared at his wife. He was used to her quest for power and wealth but he hated it when it was at expense of his daughter. It was the same thing with Alan.

David looked at Katherine. She was his little girl. So different from his wife in every way. She had a kind heart, she was brave, hardworking. She was willing to stand on her own two feet and become her own person but now...

Now, David was very scared, scared for his little girl.

Katherine pulled her father into a hug. She could see the worry in his eyes. She was worried too but she wanted to comfort him.

Show him that she was fine even if she wasn't.

A woman came in and announced that it was time. Kathrine took a deep breath and mentally prepared herself.

It's time to get married.
