Blake and Emily sat on the one good sofa that was left as both Daliah and Claire passed back and forth in front of them.

"So, important business dinner eh?” Claire asked crossing her arms and standing in front of the sofa where Blake and Emily were seated.  Emily Blushed and hid he face in Blake's arm, she could not deal with her friends teasing after the night they had just had.

“So, is this the reason you had a reservation at that sea side restaurant?” Daliah questioned as she stood next to Claire, and directed her icy blue glare to the accused party.

Blake nodded, a slight blush covered his face as he realized that both he and Emily would have some explaining to do.While they sat there waiting and being scolded Blake began to panic.  Were they supposed to disclose the China trip too? Or was that not included because it was considered a work trip? Did Emily tell Claire about China, and if she did what did she mention?

"I actually agree with Claire, would you have told us about this date?" Daliah asked her eyebrow a perfect arch and looking between the two. Emily mumbled something into Blake's side making him laugh catching the two women completely off guard.

"Care to share?" Claire asked tapping her foot, arms crossed but a smirk had appeared on perfectly tan face.

"She said...uhh...she said you guys are being over dramatic drama queens that deserve an award, but she can't decide who the lead should go to. Also that Claire shouldn't be throwing a fit because something about a college hookup gone wrong, not sure what that's about but I'm not going to ask.” Blake shrugged in reply while giving the women a blank look.

Both women stopped mid word, looked at each other, nodded and marched out of the room without another word offended that Emily of all people would call them overdramatic.

"Told you Drama Queens." Emily giggled as Blake laughed and pulled her onto his lap.

"Can I get a kiss?" He teased making a duck face. Emily laughed and pinched his cheeks before leaning in.

"I don't kiss on the first date" Emily whispered into his ear.

"Well I like to think that those dinners we had in China count as a date, and if I recall correctly you did kiss me the last night we were there."

The memory brought the color back into Emily's face as she buried her face into Blake's chest once more. "I was slightly intoxicated." Was the mumbled reply, but they both knew the champagne they were given had very little alcohol.

"Whatever you say Emmy, just remember next time won't be the first date and I will get a kiss."

"Uncle Blake where do I put this box?"  Kenny asked holding up a small shoe box.

"Kenny! Be careful with that it's very special." Blake instructed the boy as they carried the last of his belongings into Daliah's spare room.

"Is it from your girlfriend? Is Emily, your girlfriend? I have a girlfriend!" The boy announced as he opened the door to the guest room. He set the box down on the bed and ran back out to the car ready to grab something else, Blake set the box he was carrying down next to the door and ran out after the boy.

As he exited the room Emily walked out of his new closet where she was organizing the new clothes Blake had gotten deliver earlier in the day. Assuming the box on the bed was another pair of shoes she picked it up and headed to the closet not realizing Snowball, the family cat had made its way into room until it was too late.

"Ahh! What the- go away you cat!" Emily scowled struggled to keep her balance, unfortunately the box went flying and soon the contents lay across the floor. Envelopes in different conditions lay scattered on the ground and Emily remembered the way Blake's eyes light up when he saw the letter she had found. Not wanting to intrude, she quickly picked them up and placed them inside the box, but a familiar green pattern caught her attention.

Curiosity finally got the best of her as she pulled the letter from the box.
There was no return address, but it was addressed to Blake Redwoods, CEO and Owner of Redwood Inc.  Emily's face paled as she finished reading, she now knew why the envelope had looked so familiar.

She remembered loving the green filigree back in highschool so much that she had spent her entire babysitting money on a case of it despite her brothers constant teasing. She also remember the high school assignment they had been given junior year and how she was dared by her brother to actually mail the first letter. She had always wondered if the letters ever made it to their destination or if they were intercepted by interns who would read them and send a generated reply to the mailers. However never if her life did she expect Blake Redwood to actually receive the letters and read them, the fact that he had kept one of them made her nervous and suddenly a lot of things began to make sense.

"Emily! Are you still here?"  Blake's voice sounded from the other room and bringing her back to the present time.

"Yeah, I'm in here!" She called back setting the box down on the small island in the center of the closet she threw the letter on top before closing the lid not bothering with the contents since she already knew what it would contain.

"It's already late, do you want to grab a burger, before I drop you off?”
Blake asked from the doorway, a grinning Kenny by his side. She nodded in agreement, pushing her questions to the back of her mind for the moment.

Dear Mr Billionaire,

Guess who's going to college? Me! Guess who got a full scholarship? Me!
Guess who was valedictorian at my high school? Not me! That was some kid named Robert, I'm not that smart haha.

I saw you made your first multi-million  dollar deal. That's freakin amazing! I want to be like you when I grow up. We'll technically I am grown up, or will be in a few months. Did you know you planned your company picnic  on my birthday?

Anyways I'm heading on a road trip to the Grand Canyon, hopefully we actually make it there this time. Wish me luck I'll be stuck in a car with three others for who knows how long.
