Blake sat at his home office behind a mahogany desk that was covered with papers, his original plan to have a relaxing Thursday night was now a thing of the past.

Noah, his temporary, personal assistant had decided to drop off the necessary paperwork for the big Friday meeting. However he did it with the same courtesy as a kid playing Ding Dong Ditch, and all Blake got to see was the man jumping into his car and speeding off down the road before receiving a text.

I quit.

With his personal assistant  on a combined extended vacation and paternity leave due to his wife having delivered triplets, Blake was left with no choice but to go thru a temp agency. However the newly graduated college kids they kept sending him only lasted a few weeks at the most. Vowing to give Robert a raise when he returned from his leave Blake, turned his attention back to the papers scattered on his desk. Running a frustrated hand over his dark hair, he let his eyes wander over the piles hoping that maybe by a some miracle the company revenues would just jump out and allow him to continue with his original plans. Unable to locate anything that might be of any use he got off the chair and made his way to the kitchen, if he had to go thru every paper to get the information he needed, he was going to need coffee. A lot of it.

"Mr. Jacob, I am being more than generous with my offer. You are allowed to stay as President and continue to run the daily operations. I am letting you keep your job and you will be receiving a generous salary, nothing will change other than the fact that you will no longer be in charge of major decisions, since those will come from me. " Blake stated as calmly as he possibly could.

After staying up all night reviewing the operations of Jacob and Jacob he was positive a deal would be made, unfortunately Blake was not counting on the second Jacob to be the Jacob Senior’s only son. A son who had taken it upon himself to undermine Blake’s hard work and fill his father’s head with lies and the belief that as his only child selling would be denying him of his legacy.

It infuriated Blake, that someone could be that selfish, not only was the younger man willing to gamble with his father's hard work  he was also willing to gamble with the jobs and livelihood of hundreds of people.

"Mr. Jacob, I changed my mind, I am sorry to inform you but I am no longer interested in acquiring your company. I do apologize for the inconvenience, have a good day gentlemen." Blake picked up his folder and with a final nod at the older man he left the conference room. As long as Junior was at the meeting no deal would be reached and the lack of sleep was beginning to get to Blake. He was a patient man but being in the same room as Junior was beginning to try his patience.

Retreating to the solitude of his office Blake sat at his desk and rested his hands over it, his head soon followed, even it it was against the uncomfortable desk a nap was well deserved after the morning and night he had endured.

Knocking on the door brought him out of his nap and back into reality. Looking up he saw his Vice President, Daliah enter his office.

"Mr Jacob apologizes for his son and wishes to schedule another meeting." Daliah stated as she stood by the door waiting for his answer.

Daliah was a petite woman with black hair and cool blue eyes who sometimes made Blake wonder why she was working as his VP and not a model. Even at the age of thirty-five she was stunning, and unfortunately for him and the rest of the male population she also married and had two kids that Blake liked to spoil.

"Tell him I will call him when I have an opening, I can't guarantee anything before the end of the month. Unless he wishes to sell on the spot he will have to wait, oh and please tell him Junior is not welcomed in the negotiations." Blake replied looking up from a paper he had been sleeping on.

Nodding Daliah turned to leave only to stick her head back thru the door at the last minute.

"Top drawer on the left. It was early this time." She instructed giving him a smile before closing the door behind her.

Confused, Blake opened the drawer and was greeted by a white envelope, the blue and green  pattern the back had become a familiar sight for him in the past six years.

Dear Mr. Billionaire
I want to congratulate you on your latest acquisition, rumor has it you are looking to buy out Jacob and Jacob. If this is true I wish you the best, I was unfortunate enough to meet Junior  and if he is still the same person he was back freshman year of college you have my condolences.
In other more exciting new I am finally graduating from college and will be entering the workforce. Are you by any chance hiring or looking for interns? Because if you are you need to let me know, I would be honored to work in your company. Anyways good luck with Jacob and if you feel like you need to punch him in the face, you are not alone.
Good Luck, you are going to need it, LOL
