Maybe breakfast wasn't the best idea. I should have stuck with a bowl of cereal or a damn piece of toast. I was practically trembling as I read the door. The Coffee Cup. Fuck.  Jasper opened the door for me and the bell to the small coffee shopped dinged catching both Fawn and Regina's attention. As usual Fawn glared in my direction, but what surprised me the was the look of disappointment Regina had as she saw me with Jasper. She quickly hide it with a wide smile and came from behind the counter to huge Jasper.

It was obvious I had upset the hive and the most influential women in Jasper's life. I stood there awkwardly as she hugged him as if she hadn't seen him in million years all while I suffered under Fawn's intense gaze. I gave her slight wave only for her to return with a discreet middle finger.
Finally once Regina had released Jasper. I gave her a smile " Hey Regina-"

" Jasper baby what happen to your face!" She exclaimed! He opened his mouth to speak but Regina wasn't done yet. " Fawn go get me a hot towel and the first aid kit NOW!" Her fingers ran over his bruised face.

He chuckled " Regina I'm fine, Kinsley fixed me up."
Oh God please don't bring attention to me.

" No wonder you look like cat shit." Fawn insulted

I rolled my eyes Fawn has entered the group chat.

Jasper grinned at Fawn and laughed at her comment, but instantly sucked in a breath of pain holding on to his side pain coming from his ribs.

Fawn noticed and raised up his shirt with no hesitation exposing his BANDAGED ribs. She scoffed.

" A kindergarten could have done better." Jasper didn't say anything as her fingers ran over his bandages. She was to  close for my comfort, and it wasn't just care in her eyes.... It was love.Yeah I knew she had a little crush on the guy, but this... Damn it she was in love with him. She was possessive over him. She wanted him to.

Jealousy a bitch.

" I feel fine. Just got into a little trouble last night. Jayce is in town."

Jayce? So that's his brothers name.

Regina eyes widen her and Fawn glanced at me and then look at each other. Speaking with there eyes. Fawn looked at Jasper and continued the conversation in sign language in hopes that I wouldn't understand. Jokes on them.

" He's dealing again?" Regina  signed

Jasper signed. " He never stopped."

" Why is she here?" Fawn sighed.

I really want to fight her.

" She knows." Jasper's voice broke the train of silence. Both of them looking shocked at the news.

" It's not safe at home Jasper, why don't you come stay with us?" Regina offered.

What!!!!!!

" I couldn't intrude. You've got a full house as it is. I'd only be in the way."

" Where else are you gonna stay?" Fawn asked.

" With me." I stepped forward next to Jasper. Fawn's eyes nearly fall out her head.

Kin has now entered the group chat.

" WHAT!" She exclaimed. " YOU BARELY FUCKING NO HER!"

" Calm down Fawn." Regina said. " How about
we go to the back and grab some croissant." There definitely going to talk about me .

" Whatever." She replied walking back to the kitchen Regina following after her.

" You alright?" He asked as we where both left alone. I sighed taking a seat in the booth Jasper did the same. " I should be asking you that you took a beating last night and you haven't been off your feet all day.".

He took a beaten last night and instead of kissing him better I just added to the pain.

" I'm fine." He lied. " Thanks for last night..." He paused nervously scratching the back of his neck. Jasper had come so far in the weeks I've known him. From barely speaking to us now having full conversation. He was comfortable around me.. Not anymore. " I'm not sure if you saw me, but I went to the  festival uh sorta. You did great... your performance was .....beautiful."

And off went the butterflies.

Damn it I'm blushing. " I saw you."
His  beautiful eyes meet mine with interest.

" You where in the back, but I saw you." How could
I not. He made my world stop. " Then your brother came."He tensed lightly at my words. " And you left. I..." I paused searching for the words. " If I had left earlier when I saw you two arguing maybe I could have-"

" I'm glad you didn't. I don't ever want you to meet my brother.... he's trouble. You shouldn't blame your self for last night. I won't drag you down in my family  drama. Running off the stage after me, would be a mistake. I'm not worth it."

But you are.

My heart ached at his words. " But I did. After my first performance I went running after you missed the group performance but that didn't really matter. I... just wanted to make sure you where alright." I couldn't help my self, my hand grabbed his on the table taking me back to the other day. When we both laid in my bed holding hands. His hands where rough my fingers brushed over his bruised knuckles.Sparks. His eyes made me feel, but so did his touch. My heart pounded in my chest and my stomach was in knots.

" How's Lucas?" Fawn dropped the plate of croissants out of nowhere totally ruining the moment.

" Huh?"

" Lucas, the boy from the last night at the festival." And at the moment I saw it. The flicker in Jasper's eye, I felt his hand slowly pull away.

" Ohhhhh." I said faking realization I grabbed a croissant ignoring how hot they where and started  eating it. What can I say I'm a nervous eater." I wouldn't know I haven't talked to him." This chick wanted to play dirty. " You guys where so cute last night. He must of been a great date."

I chocked. Literally. The piece of croissant nearly getting stuck in my throat.

" He." cough " Was not." Cough. " My date." I patted on my chest in order to calm my self down. While Fawn smirked in amusement as I nearly died.

"You should bring your date Lucas by, he was such a nice boy?" Regina interjected as she walker over with 2 cups of hot chocolate. Great,she's in on it to.

" Not my date." I chimed laughing nervously.

" You sure? Because when he introduced himself he said he was-"

" Not my date." I assured threw clenched teeth forcing my smile.

" I didn't know you guys went to the festival?" Jasper said. " Yep sure did. Had to support
our girl Paris Hilton." Fawn said excitedly my insides where crying as she hugged me. " Sorry about crashing your date by the way. You and Lucas seem to be hitting it off."

I hate this bitch.

" Well, would you guys like anything else?" She asked happily as if she hadn't just made things awkward.

" No." We said in unison.

"Great." She said before skipping away. It was weird seeing her that happy. To my surprise the silence never came instead Jasper's words came in a wave crashing down.

" I apologize for my actions last night. If I would known you where already in a relationship I wouldn't have tried to..." He paused rubbing his hands threw his hair clearly frustrated with himself

" I wouldn't had tried to pursue you. I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable in anyway." He was so cute, when he was flustered. I could have stopped him, but it was entertain. He said seriously thought he did something wrong. He was so sweet and kind. An apology? He thought he owed me an apology!

" Jasper." I said. But he didn't notice because he wasn't looking at me. He ran his hand over his face and continued to speak.

" I understand if you think I'm some fucking dick. I feel like one, for trying to kiss you. Fuck. I should of asked."

" Ask if you can kiss me?" I chuckled. Still he hadn't noticed me speak. It was different. Jasper always looked at me, but he was to embarrassed to caught in his own words to realize mine. I was now watch his lips catching each word.

Finn never asked, he just took.

My heart fluttered.

He was so damn different from Finn. I bursted into laughter. I laughed at the irony. Finn ruined me making me feel undeserving of guy like Jasper. It was hilarious how the universe worked. Jasper was everything I wanted but didn't deserve. Finn was everything I hated, yet he's what I got.

Jasper stopped talking. His eyes finding there way back to me.

" Im not." I couldn't help it I was still laughing like crazy. " I'm not dating Lucas or anyone for that matter."

What looked like a wave of relief spreads over Jasper." Thank God." He mumbled.

" We just hung out at the festival so Nani could get alone time with Zane." I explained.

He nodded taking a moment to take everything in.

" Oh"

" I should probably still apologize for last night. It as inappropriate of me, and I was just caught in the moment we can act like it never happened. I don't want things to be awkward between us. You know?"

Caught in the moment?

" Oh." This time I said it. Disappointment washing over my face. "Friends?"  He asked extend his hand to shake. I nod and forced a smile that had  become to common.

" Friends."
